3. A toilet brush holder according to claim 1, wherein the cover has a guide section extending from a peripheral wall of the through hole in an axial direction of the through hole.
4. A toilet brush holder according to claim 3, wherein the cover in the closed position has a lower end of the guide section lower than the axis of rotation of the cover, and the activating portion is formed by the lower end of the guide section.
5. A toilet brush holder according to any of claims 1 to 4, wherein the cover is configured to be rotatable under gravity from the open position to the closed position.
6. A toilet brush holder according to claim 5, wherein the centre of gravity of the cover in the open position is horizontally inside its axis of rotation.
7. A toilet brush holder according to claim 6, wherein the actuating portion is located horizontally inside the axis of rotation of the cover when the cover is in the open position.
8. A toilet brush holder according to claim 1, wherein the bowl is provided with a resilient member which normally urges the lid to rotate towards the closed position.
9. The toilet brush holder according to claim 8, wherein the elastic member is a torsion spring, the cover is rotatably disposed on the toilet body via a rotation shaft, and the torsion spring is disposed on the rotation shaft.
10. A toilet brush holder according to claim 8, wherein the bowl has a mounting plate on its outer periphery, and the resilient member is a resilient rib extending outwardly from the mounting plate.
11. A toilet brush holder according to claim 10, wherein the mounting plate is provided with resilient grooves on both sides of the resilient bead.
12. A toilet brush holder according to claim 3, wherein the inner wall of the guide section is provided with a water collection sump for collecting water on the toilet brush bar.
13. A toilet brush holder according to claim 12, wherein the water collection channel extends circumferentially of the guide section.
14. A toilet brush holder according to claim 12, wherein the water collection channel is plural and spaced axially of the guide section.
15. The toilet brush holder according to claim 1, wherein the central axes of the through hole, the activating portion and the bowl body are coincident.
16. A toilet brush holder according to claim 1, wherein the covers are two, the covers allowing passage of the brush head in the open position and together defining an aperture suitable for passage of a toilet brush bar in the closed position.
17. A toilet brush holder according to claim 1, wherein the cover has an attachment seat rotatably mounted on an inner circumferential surface of the bowl body.
18. A toilet brush holder according to claim 17, wherein the attachment base is provided with an escape slot that escapes from the upper edge of the bowl when the cover is in the open position.
19. The toilet brush holder according to claim 1, further comprising an inner barrel detachably provided in the barrel, the brush head being adapted to be placed in the inner barrel.
20. A toilet brush holder according to claim 19, wherein the inner barrel is rotatably and releasably disposed within the bowl in a release position and a lock position, the inner barrel engaging the bowl when rotated to the lock position and being permitted to disengage from the bowl when rotated to the release position.
