Background
The bladder irrigation is a method of injecting a solution into the bladder by using a catheter and then draining the injected liquid by using a siphon principle. The catheter used at present is mainly a three-cavity balloon catheter, and the main flushing aims at 1) removing blood clots, mucus, bacteria and other foreign matters in the bladder and preventing infection, and 2) treating bladder diseases, such as cystitis, bladder tumor, bladder or prostate operation and the like.
After the bladder or prostate operation, the bladder is flushed, the flow rate of the bladder flushing is determined according to the color (red blood cell concentration) of the flushing liquid (the mixed liquid of urine, blood and flushing liquid), namely, the color of the flushing liquid is frequently observed by medical staff, and the flow rate of the flushing liquid is adjusted accordingly, because the flushing amount is large, the flushing time is long (about 72 hours generally), and the workload of the medical staff is very large. If the flushing liquid is light, the flushing liquid is wasted and complications are caused if the flushing flow speed is not adjusted slowly in time, and if the flushing liquid is dark in color and the flushing flow speed is not adjusted greatly in time, blood is coagulated to block a pipeline, and the complications are increased. If the speed regulating instrument can be used for automatically regulating the flushing flow rate according to the color of the flushing liquid, the working time of medical personnel can be greatly saved, the working efficiency is improved, the waste of flushing liquid is prevented, and complications and the like are reduced.
