Detailed Description
In the following description, numerous details are provided to provide a thorough understanding of the present invention. One skilled in the art, however, will understand that the following description illustrates only a preferred embodiment of the invention and that the invention may be practiced without one or more of these details. In addition, some technical features that are well known in the art are not described in detail in order to avoid obscuring the present invention.
According to a first aspect of the present invention, a waterproof key assembly 2000 is provided, as shown in fig. 1. The waterproof key assembly 2000 may include a panel 2100, a waterproof member 2200, a key cap 2300, and a key 2400, as shown in fig. 2-3.
The panel 2100 may have a different shape according to a product to which the waterproof key assembly 2000 is applied, and is not particularly limited. In the embodiment shown in fig. 1, panel 2100 for application to a faucet may be in the form of a sheet structure having an arcuate surface. The panel 2100 may include a mounting opening 2110, and the mounting opening 2110 may be a through hole extending through the panel 2100. The shape of the through hole may include any shape such as a circle, an ellipse, or a rectangle.
The flashing 2200 may cover the mounting opening 2110 and an edge of the flashing 2200 may be sealingly connected with an edge of the mounting opening 2110. Flashing 2200 may cover mounting opening 2110, blocking mounting opening 2110. The manner in which flashing 2200 and mounting opening 2110 are sealingly connected may include a snap-fit connection or an adhesive, etc. Flashing 2200 may be made of an elastomeric material that may include rubber, soft plastic, or resin, among others. Waterproof member 2200 may be elastically deformed when subjected to an external force.
The key cap 2300 may be fixed to the waterproof member 2200. The key cap 2300 may be touched and pressed by a user. The user may deform the waterproof member 2200 by pressing the key cap 2300.
The keys 2400 can be disposed on the inside of the panel 2100 in alignment with the mounting openings 2110. The user can press the key cap 2300 from the outside of the panel 2100 toward the inside direction. Of course, it is understood that in other embodiments, the pressing direction may also face other directions. In the pressing direction, the key cap 2300 may abut against the waterproof member 2200, and the waterproof member 2200 may abut against the key 2400. That is, the user can press key cap 2300 and then touch key 2400 through waterproof member 2200, thereby achieving an effect that key 2400 is triggered. In some embodiments, the keys 2400 may be disposed on the motherboard 2500. The buttons 2400 may include any buttons 2400 such as micro switches, travel switches, etc. that can be used to effect a trigger by changing the displacement.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 2-3, where a circular mounting opening 2110 is provided in panel 2100, flashing 2200 may be in the form of a circular sheet and disposed within mounting opening 2110. Wherein, the outer circumference of the waterproof member 2200 may be hermetically connected with the inner circumference of the mounting opening 2110. In the embodiment shown in fig. 2-3, the connection may be a snap connection, and at the snap, flashing 2200 and mounting opening 2110 may form a sealing effect. Thus, water flow is prevented from flowing on the outside of the panel 2100 and the inside of the panel 2100 at the mounting opening 2110. A key cap 2300 may be fixed to an outer surface of the waterproof member 2200 facing the panel 2100. Flashing 2200 may be resilient and flashing 2200 may be deformable in the direction of axis O-O of panel 2100. A user can press the key cap 2300 along the axis O-O from the outside of the panel 2100, so as to drive the waterproof member 2200 to deform, and further cause the waterproof member 2200 to press the key 2400, so as to trigger the key 2400.
Therefore, in the waterproof key assembly 2000 according to the embodiment of the present invention, by providing the waterproof member 2200 connected to the mounting opening 2110 of the panel 2100 in a sealing manner, and providing the waterproof member 2200 with elasticity, the user can operate the key 2400 through the key cap 2300 provided on the waterproof member 2200. Since the waterproof member 2200 is directly connected to the mounting opening 2110 in a sealing manner, the sealing performance between the waterproof member 2200 and the mounting opening 2110 is not affected during the use of the key cap 2300, and water is prevented from flowing into the inner side of the panel 2100 through the mounting opening 2110 from the outer side of the panel 2100, thereby reducing the possible damage to the key 2400 caused by the water, improving the safety of the key 2400, and improving the stability of the product.
Illustratively, flashing 2200 may be disposed within the mounting opening 2110. One of the inner side wall of the mounting opening 2110 and the outer side wall of the waterproof member 2200 may be provided with a first annular rib 2111, and the other may be provided with a first annular groove 2210. First annular rib 2111 may have an interference fit with first annular groove 2210. In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 2-5, the interior sidewall of the mounting opening 2110 may be provided with a first annular rib 2111. A first annular groove 2210 may be provided on an outer sidewall of the waterproof member 2200. Wherein the groove width of first annular groove 2210 may be smaller than the rib width of first annular rib 2111. Thus, when the waterproof member 2200 is installed in the installation opening 2110, the first annular groove 2210 may clamp the first annular protrusion 2111, thereby achieving an interference fit and achieving a sealing effect. Of course, the outer diameter of the first annular groove 2210 may be larger than the outer diameter of the first annular rib 2111, so that the first annular rib 2111 and the first annular groove 2210 may be pressed against each other to achieve an interference fit, thereby achieving a sealing effect. Both embodiments described above may also be applied to both flashing 2200 and mounting opening 2110.
Therefore, the embodiment of the present invention provides a waterproof button assembly 2000, which has simple connection, easy implementation and easy detachment.
Further, the first annular rib 2111 may be provided on the inner sidewall of the mounting opening 2110. A first pair of positive grooves 2112 may be provided on the inside wall of the mounting opening 2110 and below the first annular rib 2111. A first pair of positive protrusions 2220 may be provided on an outer sidewall of the waterproof member 2200. The first pair of alignment protrusions 2220 may snap into the first pair of alignment recesses 2112. In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 2-5, the first pair of positive grooves 2112 may be elongated slots extending in the direction of axis O-O. The first pair of positive protrusions 2220 may be elongated strips extending in the direction of the axis O-O. Of course, in an embodiment not shown, the first pair of positive recesses 2112 and the first pair of positive protrusions 2220 may extend in other directions, and may have any shape. The engagement between the first pair of positive recesses 2112 and the first pair of positive protrusions 2220 may include an interference fit, a clearance fit, or the like.
By providing the first pair of positive grooves 2112 and the first pair of positive protrusions 2220, the user can conveniently install the waterproof member 2200 into the installation opening 2110 with a correct angle, thereby avoiding water leakage caused by incorrect installation.
For example, one of the waterproof member 2200 and the key cap 2300 may be provided with a fixing groove 2230, and the other thereof may be provided with a fixing post 2310. The fixing post 2310 may be inserted into the fixing groove 2230 in an axial direction thereof. The axial direction may be parallel to the pressing direction. One of the inner sidewall of the fixing groove 2230 and the outer sidewall of the fixing post 2310 may be provided with a second annular rib 2231, and the other may be provided with a second annular groove 2311. The second annular groove 2311 and the second annular rib 2231 can be engaged. In the embodiment shown in fig. 2 to 6, the waterproof member 2200 may be provided with a fixing groove 2230, and the key cap 2300 may be provided with a fixing post 2310. The fixing groove 2230 and the fixing post 2310 may both extend in the direction of the axis O-O. The fixing post 2310 is provided with a second annular groove 2311, and the fixing groove 2230 is provided with a second annular rib 2231. The fixing column 2310 is inserted into the fixing groove 2230, and the second annular protruding edge 2231 is clamped with the second annular groove 2311, so that the key cap 2300 is fixedly connected with the waterproof piece 2200. Of course, it is understood that in other embodiments, the fixing post 2310, the fixing groove 2230, the second annular rib 2231 and the second annular groove 2311 may be disposed in various combinations, which are not illustrated.
Therefore, the embodiment of the present invention provides a waterproof button assembly 2000, which has a simple structure, is easy to implement, and can also facilitate the disassembly and assembly of the button cap 2300 and the waterproof piece 2200.
Further, a fixing groove 2230 may be provided on the waterproof member 2200. The second annular rib 2231 may be provided on an inner sidewall of the fixing groove 2230. The fixing post 2310 may be provided on the key cap 2300. A second annular groove 2311 may be provided on an outer side wall of the fixing post 2310. A second pair of alignment tabs 2312 may be provided on the outer side wall of the fixing post 2310. The second pair of positive tabs 2312 may be located above the second annular groove 2311. A second pair of alignment grooves 2232 may be formed on the inner sidewalls of the fixing grooves 2230. The second pair of positive tabs 2312 and the second pair of positive recesses 2232 may snap fit together. In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 2-6, the second pair of alignment tabs 2312 may be protrusions extending in the direction of the axis O-O and the second pair of alignment grooves 2232 may be elongated slots extending in the direction of the axis O-O. Of course, it is understood that in other embodiments, the second pair of alignment tabs 2312 and the second pair of alignment grooves 2232 can also extend in other directions or have other shapes. The second pair of positive protrusions 2312 may be formed by extending the top surface of the key cap 2300 along the axis O-O direction to the second annular groove 2311. Thus, the second pair of alignment protrusions 2312 does not affect the engagement strength between the second annular groove 2311 and the second annular ridge 2231. The engagement between the second pair of alignment protrusions 2312 and the second pair of alignment grooves 2232 may include an interference fit, a clearance fit, or the like.
By providing the second pair of alignment grooves 2232 and the second pair of alignment protrusions 2312, the user can conveniently mount the key cap 2300 on the waterproof member 2200 at a correct angle, so that the possibility of wrong mounting is reduced, and the influence of wrong mounting on the user's normal pressing of the key cap 2300 is avoided.
For example, a portion of the waterproof member 2200 sandwiched between the key cap 2300 and the key 2400 may be configured such that a pressing stroke of the key cap 2300 is longer than an amount of compression of the portion under the pressing stroke. In the embodiment shown in fig. 2-3, flashing 2200 is sandwiched between key cap 2300 and key 2400, which may be in the form of a disc. The amount of compression of the disc-shaped portion, i.e., the maximum amount of deformation that the resilient material can achieve, may be less than the stroke of depression of the key cap 2300. In this way, it is avoided that, when the pressing of key cap 2300 is maximized due to the excessively soft elastic material, the amount of deformation of the clamped portion is not maximized, and thus waterproof member 2200 cannot transmit the pressing operation to key 2400. In some embodiments, the amount of compression of the clamped portion may also be related to its thickness, with the greater the thickness, the greater the amount of compression. As described above, when the waterproof member 2200 is compressed downward from above the waterproof member 2200 by the key cap 2300, the amount of deformation generated below the waterproof member 2200 is smaller, and the movement of the key cap 2300 is less likely to be transmitted to the key 2400 by the waterproof member 2200. Conversely, the smaller the thickness, the easier it is for key cap 2300 to transmit motion to key 2400.
Therefore, the embodiment of the present invention provides a waterproof button assembly 2000, which can improve the probability that the user presses the button cap 2300 to successfully trigger the button 2400.
Exemplarily, the waterproof member 2200 may further include: a key cap mounting part 2240, an outer peripheral wall 2250, and a connecting piece 2260. The key cap 2300 may be fixed to the key cap mounting part 2240. An outer peripheral wall 2250 may surround a side of the key cap mounting part 2240, and the outer peripheral wall 2250 may be spaced apart from the key cap mounting part 2240. The outer peripheral wall 2250 may be sealingly connected to the edge of the mounting opening 2110. The connecting piece 2260 may be connected between the outer circumferential wall 2250 and the key cap mounting part 2240. In the embodiment shown in fig. 5, the keycap attachment portion 2240 may include the portion having the securing slot 2230 described above, which is shown as a barrel-shaped structure. Outer peripheral wall 2250 may be provided around the outside of key cap mounting part 2240 in a ring-shaped configuration. The connecting piece 2260 connects the inner side surface of the outer peripheral wall 2250 and the outer side surface of the key cap mounting part 2240. In some embodiments, the coupling piece 2260 may have elasticity, and in the embodiment shown in fig. 5, the key cap mounting part 2240 may be moved along the axis O-O with respect to the outer circumferential wall 2250 by the elasticity of the coupling piece 2260. Of course, flashing 2200 may also be entirely resilient.
Therefore, the embodiment of the present invention provides a waterproof key assembly 2000, which has a simple structure and is easy to implement.
Illustratively, as shown in fig. 6, key cap 2300 may include a cap body 2320 and an annular flange 2330. An edge region of the surface of the cap 2320 facing the key 2400 may be provided with an annular flange 2330 extending towards the key 2400. The top of the outer peripheral wall 2250 may be captured between the annular flange 2330 and the inner sidewall of the mounting opening 2110. In the embodiment shown in fig. 5, the outer peripheral wall 2250 may be provided at a top surface thereof with a first flange 2251 extending outwardly in a direction perpendicular to the axis O-O. The edge of first cuff 2251 may also have a second cuff 2252 extending upwardly along axis O-O. The second flange 2252 is captured between the annular flange 2330 and the inside wall of the mounting opening 2110. Like this, can make the button cap 2300 more stable after installing to waterproof part 2200, be difficult for crooked, convenience of customers presses the button cap 2300 along the direction of pressing, improves and uses experience.
Illustratively, the connecting piece 2260 may be lower than the upper surface of the outer circumferential wall 2250 and the upper surface of the key cap mounting part 2240. In the embodiment shown in fig. 5, the connecting piece 2260, the key cap mounting portion 2240 and the peripheral wall 2250 may form an annular cavity therebetween around the exterior of the key cap mounting portion 2240. Although the edges of flashing 2200 and mounting opening 2110 are sealingly joined, the risk of water leakage is also increased by the prolonged water storage at the joint. The cavity can store a certain amount of water when water flows down along the gap between the key cap 2300 and the mounting opening 2110, preventing water from accumulating at the joint between the waterproof member 2200 and the mounting opening 2110, thus reducing the risk of water entering the inside of the panel 2100 through the waterproof member 2200 and the mounting opening 2110 and protecting the key 2400.
Illustratively, a light emitting element (not shown) may also be disposed at the key 2400. The key cap 2300 may be light transmissive, and at least the connection piece 2260 of the waterproof member 2200 may be light transmissive. Thus, the light emitting element can transmit light through the key cap 2300 and the waterproof member 2200, which is convenient for a user to observe. The light emitting member may include, but is not limited to, a light emitting diode. Of course, it is understood that in some embodiments, flashing 2200 may also be entirely light transmissive, which may be easier and more convenient to manufacture flashing 2200.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, a heating faucet is provided, wherein any one of the above-mentioned waterproof button assemblies 2000 can be disposed on the heating faucet.
