The locker 23 applies a predetermined clamping force on the cable clamp 24 to clamp and fix the cable 21 by the cable clamp 24.
As shown in fig. 1 to 9, in the illustrated embodiment, the cable assembly 20 further includes a cable grommet 25, and the cable grommet 25 is fitted over the cable 21 and inserted into the cable insertion hole 111 on the housing 10. When the cable packing 25 is inserted into the cable insertion hole 111 on the housing 10, the cable packing 25 is radially pressed between the inner surface of the cable insertion hole 111 of the housing 10 and the outer surface of the cable 21 to seal a gap therebetween.
As shown in fig. 1 to 9, in the illustrated embodiment, the cable clamp 24 is disposed between the cable grommet 25 and the locker 23, and both the cable clamp 24 and the cable grommet 25 are inserted into the cable insertion hole 111 of the housing 10.
As shown in fig. 1 to 9, in the illustrated embodiment, the cable clamp 24 includes a plurality of resilient claws 241 for clamping onto the cable 21. The locker 23 includes a tapered inner surface for radially pressing the elastic jaw 241. The plurality of elastic claws 241 are adapted to hold the cable 21 under the compression of the catching sleeve 23.
As shown in fig. 1 to 9, in the illustrated embodiment, the lock sleeve 23 includes: a cylindrical portion 231 and catching portions 232 and 233. The cylindrical portion 231 of the lock sleeve 23 is fitted around the cable 21, and the tapered inner surface is formed inside the cylindrical portion 231 of the lock sleeve 23. The buckling parts 232, 233 are connected to the cylindrical part 231, and locking features 23a adapted to be locked to the housing 10 are formed on the buckling parts 232, 233.
As shown in fig. 1-9, in the illustrated embodiment, a plurality of resilient fingers 241 are evenly spaced around the circumference of the cable 21. The catch portions 232, 233 of the cable clamp 24 include a sidewall 232 and a radial wall 233 connected between the sidewall 232 and the cylindrical portion 231. In the illustrated embodiment, the main body portion of the cable clamp 24 is accommodated in the space surrounded by the catching portions 232, 233, and the plurality of elastic claws 241 are inserted into the cylindrical portion 231. The aforementioned latching features 23a are formed on the side walls 232 of the latching portions 232, 233.
As shown in fig. 1-9, in the illustrated embodiment, a mating latching feature 10a is formed on an outer wall of the housing 10 that is adapted to mate with a latching feature 23a on a latching sleeve 23 of the cable assembly 20 to latch the latching sleeve 23 to the housing 10. In the illustrated embodiment, the latching features 23a are detents and the mating latching features 10a are protrusions. However, the utility model is not limited to the illustrated embodiment, for example, the latching feature 23a may be a protrusion and the mating latching feature 10a may be a catch slot.
It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the above described embodiments are exemplary and can be modified by those skilled in the art, and that the structures described in the various embodiments can be freely combined without structural or conceptual conflicts, and that such modifications are intended to fall within the scope of the present invention.

Claims (19)

1. A seal ring end cap for a high pressure connector, comprising:
a main body portion adapted to be mounted in a mating port of a connector housing that mates with a mating connector;
a retaining portion connected to the main body portion for retaining a seal ring in a mating port of the connector housing; and
a terminal blocking portion connected to the body portion and adapted to engage with a terminal inserted into the connector housing to lock the terminal in the connector housing,
the sealing ring end cover is an integrated piece.
2. The seal ring end cap for a high-pressure connector as claimed in claim 1, wherein:
the retention portion includes a resilient snap connected to the body portion adapted to snap onto a raised rib in the connector housing to lock the seal ring end cap in a prelock position or a final lock position.
3. The seal ring end cap for a high-pressure connector as claimed in claim 2, wherein:
the elasticity buckle includes:
the first elastic buckle is provided with a first elastic cantilever and a first bulge formed on the first elastic cantilever; and
a second elastic buckle having a second elastic cantilever and a second protrusion formed on the second elastic cantilever,
when the seal ring end cover is in the pre-locking position, the convex rib is locked between the first convex and the second convex,
the raised rib is latched to one of the first and second protrusions when the seal ring end cap is in the final locking position.
4. A seal ring end cap for a high pressure connector as claimed in claim 3, wherein:
a first protrusion is formed on each of two opposite sides of the first elastic cantilever for respectively engaging with two protrusion ribs on the connector housing;
a second protrusion is formed on each of opposite sides of the second elastic cantilever for engagement with the two protrusion ribs, respectively.
5. The seal ring end cap for a high-pressure connector as claimed in claim 4, wherein:
the two first bulges are positioned at different height positions on the first elastic cantilever, and the two second bulges are positioned at different height positions on the second elastic cantilever;
the first protrusion and the second protrusion on the same side are at different height positions, and the first protrusion and the second protrusion on different sides are at the same height position.
6. The seal ring end cap for a high-pressure connector as claimed in claim 2, wherein:
the main body portion includes:
a cylindrical body adapted to be inserted into a receiving cavity surrounded by an inner peripheral wall of the connector housing; and
a lip portion extending radially outward from an outer surface of one end of the cylindrical body,
the lip portion abuts against an inner peripheral wall of the connector housing and an end face of the packing when the packing end cap is mounted to a final lock position.
7. The seal ring end cap for a high-pressure connector as claimed in claim 6, wherein:
the terminal stopper is connected to an inner side of the cylinder and protrudes from the cylinder by a predetermined height in an axial direction of the cylinder.
8. The seal ring end cap for a high-pressure connector as claimed in claim 6, further comprising:
a cross beam bridging between two transversely opposite inner sides of the cylindrical body,
the elastic buckles are respectively arranged at two ends of the cross beam and connected to the cross beam.
9. The seal ring end cap for a high-pressure connector as claimed in claim 8, wherein:
the seal ring end cap includes a pair of terminal blocking portions symmetrically disposed on both sides of the cross member for respectively holding two terminals.
10. A connector housing assembly, comprising:
a housing having a mating port adapted to mate with a mating housing of a mating connector;
a seal ring installed in the mating port of the housing for sealing the mating port of the housing; and
a seal ring end cap for a high-pressure connector according to any one of claims 1 to 9, mounted in a mating port of the housing,
the seal ring end cap is used to retain the seal ring in a mating port of the connector housing and to lock a terminal inserted into the housing in the housing.
11. The connector housing assembly of claim 10, wherein:
the seal ring end cap has a prelock position and a final lock position relative to the connector housing,
when the sealing ring end cover is installed at the pre-locking position, the sealing ring end cover is in a position which does not interfere with the terminal so as to allow the terminal to be inserted or pulled out;
the seal ring end cap is in a position to engage the terminal when the seal ring end cap is installed in the final lock position to lock the terminal in the connector housing.
12. The connector housing assembly of claim 11, wherein:
the mating port of the housing includes:
an outer peripheral wall; and
an inner peripheral wall accommodated in an accommodating cavity surrounded by the outer peripheral wall,
a gap allowing the counter housing to be inserted is formed between the inner circumferential wall and the outer circumferential wall, and the seal ring is fitted over an outer surface of the inner circumferential wall and adapted to be radially compressed between the inner circumferential wall and the counter housing.
13. The connector housing assembly of claim 11, wherein:
the housing includes a terminal holding body located inside thereof, and a terminal insertion groove for inserting a terminal is formed on the terminal holding body.
14. The connector housing assembly of claim 13, wherein:
an insertion groove for inserting the terminal blocking portion is further formed on the terminal holding body, the insertion groove communicating with the terminal insertion groove so that the terminal blocking portion can be inserted into the terminal insertion groove via the insertion groove and engaged with the terminal.
15. The connector housing assembly of claim 13, wherein:
a buckle slot for inserting an elastic buckle on the sealing ring end cover is formed on the terminal holding body;
a projection rib adapted to be engaged with the elastic snap is formed on an inner wall of the snap insertion groove.
16. The connector housing assembly of claim 13, wherein:
the housing further includes cable insertion holes for inserting cable assemblies, the cable insertion holes communicating with the terminal insertion grooves so that terminals on the cable assemblies can be inserted into the terminal insertion grooves via the cable insertion holes.
17. The connector housing assembly of claim 16, wherein:
the cable jack and the matching port are respectively positioned at two ends of the shell, and the axis of the cable jack is perpendicular to the axis of the matching port.
18. A connector, comprising:
the connector housing assembly of any one of claims 11-17; and
a cable assembly inserted into the housing,
the cable assembly includes a cable and a terminal electrically connected to a conductor core of the cable,
the terminal is retained in the housing by the grommet end cap to prevent the terminal from being pulled out of the housing.
19. The connector of claim 18, wherein:
a locking surface is formed on the terminal;
when the seal ring end cover is inserted to the final locking position, the terminal blocking part on the seal ring end cover abuts against the locking surface to lock the terminal in the shell.
