a tobacco rod according to any one of claims 1 to 8;
a cartridge inserted into the tobacco rod from the insertion opening and contacting the conductive pin to be powered by the tobacco rod, the lifting mechanism moving such that the cartridge can be entirely contained within the housing or at least partially extend out of the housing.
10. The atomizing device of claim 9, wherein the cartridge and the tobacco rod are magnetically engaged.
