the filter element assembly is detachably and hermetically connected with the shell and comprises a primary filter part and a secondary filter part, the primary filter part comprises a second water inlet and an arc-shaped plate, the arc-shaped plate is positioned at the position, close to the second water inlet, of the primary filter part, and the arc-shaped plate is used for shunting water entering through the second water inlet;
wherein, when the filter equipment for water heater front end is in operating condition: the first water inlet is communicated with the second water inlet, and water flows through the primary filtering part and is filtered, and is output through the water outlet after being filtered by the secondary filtering part.

The filter assembly for a front end of a water heater as recited in claim 1, wherein said primary filter portion includes a first filter element, said first filter element including a filter plate and said arcuate plate, said arcuate plate being disposed on an upper surface of said filter plate, said filter plate being adapted to filter water diverted by said arcuate plate.
