Description

Needle selector of circular knitting machine
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a needle selector for a circular knitting machine, and more particularly to a needle selector for a circular knitting machine, comprising: the number of actuators is reduced, the structure of the reset cam is changed to save cost, the space utilization rate is high, more feeders are realized, and the productivity can be improved.
Background
In general, in a circular knitting machine, a knitting needle which is accommodated in a plurality of needle grooves arranged side by side in a cylinder and is slidably displaceable is selected as a needle selection device mounted on a carriage which reciprocates in the longitudinal direction of the cylinder, and a knitting operation is performed by driving with a cam system for knitting.
Knitting actions of the knitting needles include MISS (MISS), TUCK (TUCK), loop (KNIT), and double-end Loop (LINK).
The non-loop refers to a position of a knitting needle which neither ascends nor forms a new loop, the tuck refers to a condition that the knitting needle does not completely ascend but ascends to receive a new loop yarn in the middle and descends to receive the loop yarn again after not forming the loop to form the loop together with a previous thread, the loop forming refers to a condition that the knitting needle completely descends to form the new loop, and the double-head loop forming refers to a condition that the knitting needle completely ascends and then the knitting needle moves to an upper needle cylinder to form the new loop.
Fig. 1 is a diagram for explaining the operation of a needle selector of a conventional circular knitting machine.
The needle selecting device of the circular knitting machine comprises: an actuator 1 for selecting a jacquard push piece; an auxiliary push piece, which transmits the selected function of the jacquard push piece to the knitting needle of the needle bed arranged on the cylinder; a reset cam 2 arranged on the upper part of the actuator 1 for resetting the jacquard push sheet; a reset cam part 3 which is positioned on the upper part of the reset cam 2 and is provided with a reset cam channel 3a which can perform knitting actions of non-loop, tuck, loop and double-head loop in order to form a loop forming ring; and a push jack 4 which is formed with a butt 4a coupled to the reset cam path 3a, and which ascends and descends and moves the knitting needle by a needle selecting action of the actuator 1.
The actuator 1 includes a first actuator 1a, a second actuator 1b, and a third actuator 1c, and a projection 2a is formed on the reset cam 2.
In the needle selecting device of the conventional circular knitting machine configured as described above, the jacquard push jack (needle) (a) is reset at the projecting portion 2a of the reset cam 2, whether to perform the loop breaking a or the tucking b, the loop forming c, and the double-end loop forming d is determined by the first actuator 1a, and the needle determined as the loop breaking a is the loop breaking a (a-1) until the end.
In the needle not selected as the non-loop a by the first actuator, whether tucking b or looping c or double-end looping d is performed is determined by the second actuator (a-2).
In the needle not selected as tuck b by the second actuator, whether to perform looping c or double-end looping d (a-3) is determined by the third actuator.
That is, in the conventional needle selecting device for a circular knitting machine, 3 actuators 1 are required to show the miss-stitch a, the tuck-stitch b, the stitch c, and the double-end stitch d.
On the other hand, reference numeral 5 is a cam structure of the prior art for aligning the needles located in the cylinder to the needle aligning portion of the lower cylinder, and reference numeral 6 is a cam structure of the prior art for feeding the aligned needles, which are not selected by the third actuator, to the upper cylinder and aligning the slider downward.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems (the problem of re-screening after aligning the needles of the upper needle cylinder) of the prior art, and an object of the present invention is to provide a needle selecting device for a circular knitting machine, which performs needle alignment and screening in a part to improve space efficiency, realize more feeders, and further improve productivity problems of the conventional double-head circular knitting machine by about 35%, and reduce the number of actuators by changing the structure of a reset cam, thereby saving costs.
(means for solving the problems)
As a technical idea for achieving the present invention, a needle selecting device of a circular knitting machine includes: an actuator for selecting a jacquard jack; an auxiliary push-piece, which transmits the selected function of the jacquard push-piece to the knitting needle arranged on the needle bed of the needle cylinder; the reset cam is arranged at the upper part of the actuator to reset the jacquard push sheet linked with the actuator; a first cam part located at an upper part of the reset cam and formed with a cam path which can realize knitting actions of non-loop, tuck, loop and double-end loop to form a loop ring, the cam path being composed of an upper part and a lower part, the upper part being a line composed of an upper cam front end part, an upper ascending rail, an upper inflection point and an upper descending rail, and the lower part being a line composed of a lower cam front end part, a lower ascending rail, a lower inflection point and a lower descending rail; a slider which is coupled to an upper portion of the auxiliary jack, moves up and down by a needle selection action of the actuator, and moves the knitting needle; a second cam portion having an ascending path and a descending path which move in conjunction with the butt of the slider on the upper side of the first cam portion; wherein the actuator is divided into a first actuator and a second actuator, and a first protrusion and a second protrusion are formed on the reset cam; the auxiliary push plate is a butt of the auxiliary push plate which is protruded out of the needle cylinder by the second bulge of the reset cam of the feeder before and is reset to the state that the first actuator reselects the auxiliary push plate to return to the first cam part, and whether the front end part of the upper cam represents non-loop and tuck or loop formation and double-head loop formation is determined by the first actuator; for the auxiliary push piece selected by the first actuator to indicate the absence and the tuck at the front end portion of the upper cam, it is moved to the front end portion of the lower cam, and since the slider and the auxiliary push piece are connected by the rising rail of the second cam portion, the auxiliary push piece moved to the front end portion of the lower cam by the first protrusion of the reset cam while passing through the lower rising rail is protruded again to the outside of the cylinder, thereby moving along the lower descending rail if it is determined as the absence of the loop by the second actuator at the lower inflection point, and moving to one side if it is determined as the tuck; for the auxiliary push piece not selected by the first actuator to be indicated in the front end portion of the upper cam in the loop formation and the double-headed loop formation, if it is determined to be the loop formation by the second actuator at the upper inflection point along the upper rising rail, since the slider and the auxiliary push piece are connected by the falling rail of the second cam portion, it moves along the upper falling rail, and at the same time, it moves to one side if it is determined to be the double-headed loop formation; by setting the needle selection position at the upper inflection point, the operation of aligning the needle positioned on the upper side of the cylinder to the lower side and the needle selecting operation are performed at one place.
(Effect of the invention)
The needle selecting device for circular knitting machine of the present invention reduces the number of actuators from three to two, forms two protrusions of reset cams to indicate no loop, tuck, loop and double-end loop, and further saves cost, and performs needle selecting operation when the auxiliary push jack descends, thereby achieving high space utilization, realizing more feeders, and further improving productivity (about 35% higher than the conventional one).
