The litter shovel assembly of claim 1, wherein the receptacle comprises a bottom wall, a pair of first side walls disposed on opposite sides of the bottom wall, and second and third side walls disposed on other opposite sides of the bottom wall, wherein one end of the plurality of spades is connected to the second side walls, respectively, and the second side walls are lower than the plurality of spades.
7. The litter shovel assembly as set forth in claim 6 wherein one end of said dipper handle is connected to said third sidewall, and said third sidewall is higher than said second sidewall.
8. The cat litter shovel assembly as defined in any one of claims 1 to 7 further comprising a reinforcing rib disposed on a side of the shovel bone, the reinforcing rib extending along a length of the shovel bone.
9. The litter shovel assembly as set forth in any one of claims 1-7 wherein the protective sheath is provided with a seal for sealing the protective sheath.
