Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of vehicle motors. In a first aspect, the utility model relates to a vehicle electric machine, in particular an oil pump electric machine. In a second aspect, the present invention relates to a motor connector assembly for a vehicle oil pump motor.
Background
Vehicle oil pump motors are typically controlled by an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) that is electrically connected to components within the motor, such as the stator, via a motor connector assembly to facilitate control of the motor.
In current oil pump motor designs, the interface unit of the motor connector assembly needs to be specially designed to match the configuration of the customer interface. Fig. 1 shows an oil pump motor 1 'of a known design having a motor connector assembly 10' with a plastic connector body 11 ', an electrically conductive interface 12' and lead terminals (not shown) electrically connected thereto for electrical connection with components within the motor. The customer interface will be plugged into the interface 12' so that the terminals of the customer interface are connected with the interface lead terminals via the interface.
The motor connector assembly of this existing design occupies a relatively large space, and moreover, needs to be specially designed for customer interfaces of different configurations, and is relatively poor in versatility.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to avoid the above-mentioned problems of prior art motor connector assemblies. To this end, an improved motor connector assembly is provided. The motor connector assembly includes a connector body and a conductive interface positioned therein. According to the utility model, the conductive interface is provided with a plurality of threaded holes. In this way, standard components such as screws can be used to connect the interface of the motor connector assembly with the terminals of the customer interface, greatly improving the versatility of the motor connector assembly.
According to an embodiment, the interface is provided with three threaded holes for engagement with three screws, one for connecting the three terminals of the corresponding customer interface.
According to an embodiment, the motor connector assembly further includes lead terminals and a motor mounting portion, the connector body is fixed to the motor mounting portion, the interface is electrically connected to the lead terminals, and the motor mounting portion is to be assembled to the oil pump motor.
The utility model also provides an oil pump motor comprising the motor connector assembly of any one of the above aspects, the motor connector assembly being assembled to the motor by the motor mounting portion.
According to an embodiment, the electric machine further comprises an electronic control unit, the lead terminals of the electric machine being connected (e.g. by brazing) to the lead terminals of the electric machine connector assembly for electrical connection with a component within the electric machine, such as a stator, for controlling operation of the electric machine. The motor lead terminal and the interface lead terminal are connected by brazing, and a strong connection between them can be obtained.
According to a preferred embodiment, the electric machine further comprises an insulating member and an insulating mat, the insulating mat being over-molded in the insulating member, the lead terminals of the electric machine being arranged on the insulating mat at a distance from each other. By providing the insulating pad formed by plastic coating, the insulating member is prevented from being deformed when the lead terminals of the motor and the lead terminals of the interface are brazed.
Compared with the existing motor connector assembly, the motor connector assembly allows standard mechanical parts to be used for connecting a client interface, and has the advantages of no relation to the specific structure of the client interface, variable assembling positions of the motor connector assembly on an oil pump motor according to the client interface, good universality, high flexibility and low manufacturing cost.
