Description
Technical Field
Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to the field of antennas, and in particular, to a distributed antenna system and a communication system.
Background
A distributed antenna system receives a downlink signal from a Base Station (BS) to transmit to a User Equipment (UE), and receives an uplink signal transmitted by the UE to transmit to the Base Station. In a conventional distributed antenna system, as shown in fig. 1, multiband access modules (121-1 and 121-2) in an access unit 120 receive multiband downlink signals from a plurality of base stations (110-1 to 110-m) to which a plurality of operators belong. The first optical modules (122-1 and 122-2) in the access unit 120 couple and convert the signals of different frequency bands into optical signals, and transmit the optical signals to the (high power) remote units (130-1 to 130-n) through optical fibers.
Within the remote unit (e.g., 130-1), the optical signal is reduced to a multi-band radio frequency signal by the second optical module (131-1 and 131-2). The multi-band radio frequency signal is fed into each frequency band power amplification low-noise amplification module (133-1 to 133-k) after being split by the power splitting modules (132-1, 132-2, 132-3 and 132-4) to complete power amplification, and is fed into the antennas (140-1 and 140-2) to be covered by the combiners (134-1 to 134-2).
For uplink signals fed by the antennas (140-1 and 140-2), the uplink signals are amplified by the power amplification low-noise amplification modules (133-1 to 133-k) and then coupled in the power division modules (132-1 to 132-4), and then enter the second optical modules (131-1 and 131-2) to be photoelectrically converted into optical signals and then transmitted to the access unit 120 through optical fibers. In the access unit 120, the optical signal is separated into signals of each frequency band and then fed to each operator base station (110-1 to 110-m), so as to complete the processing of the uplink signal.
The traditional distributed antenna system adopts a common optical module, the optical wavelength has larger drift along with the change of temperature and the like, and two wavelengths of 15XXnm and 13XXnm are generally selected from one optical fiber to respectively transmit uplink and downlink signals.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a first optical module 200 in an access unit according to the prior art. As shown in fig. 2, the first optical module 200 in the access unit may include at least a laser 210, an optical power splitter 220, a plurality of wavelength division multiplexing demultiplexers 230-1 to 230-n, a plurality of optical transceiving ports 240-1 to 240-n, optical detectors 250-1 to 250-n, and a combiner 260. The laser 210 is used to convert the received radio frequency signal into an optical signal. The optical power splitter 220 is configured to divide the optical signal into n paths and correspondingly send the n paths of optical signals to the wavelength division multiplexing demultiplexers 230-1 to 230-n for multiplexing, and then output the optical signals through the optical transceiving ports 240-1 to 240-n. The optical transceiving ports 240-1 to 240-n are further configured to receive optical signals, and the wavelength division multiplexing demultiplexers 230-1 to 230-n correspondingly output the optical signals to the optical detectors 250-1 to 250-n after demultiplexing the optical signals. The optical detectors 250-1 to 250-n are used for implementing photoelectric conversion, and outputting n radio frequency signals to the combiner 260 for combining and then outputting.
Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram of a second light module 300 in a remote unit according to the prior art. As shown in fig. 3, the second optical module 300 in the remote unit may include at least an optical transceiver port 310, a wavelength division multiplexing demultiplexer 320, an optical detector 330, and a laser 340. The optical transceiver port 310 is used for receiving and transmitting optical signals. The wdm demultiplexer 320 is configured to demultiplex the optical signal received by the optical transceiving port 310 and transmit the demultiplexed optical signal to the optical detector 330. The wdm demultiplexer 320 is also configured to multiplex optical signals received from the laser 340 and transmit the multiplexed optical signals via the optical transceiving port 310. The optical detector 330 is used to perform optical-to-electrical conversion on the demultiplexed optical signal received from the wavelength division multiplexing demultiplexer 320 to generate a radio frequency signal. The laser 340 is used to convert the received radio frequency signal into an optical signal and transmit the optical signal to the wavelength division multiplexing demultiplexer 320.
The conventional distributed antenna system described above consumes an increased number of optical fibers for the case of, for example, multi-signal-set transmission, and thus cannot meet the application requirements under the condition that the optical fiber resources are limited.

Detailed Description
Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are described below with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which various details of the embodiments of the disclosure are included to assist understanding, and which are to be considered as merely exemplary. Accordingly, those of ordinary skill in the art will recognize that various changes and modifications of the embodiments described herein can be made without departing from the scope and spirit of the present disclosure. Also, descriptions of well-known functions and constructions are omitted in the following description for clarity and conciseness.
The term "include" and variations thereof as used herein is meant to be inclusive in an open-ended manner, i.e., "including but not limited to". Unless specifically stated otherwise, the term "or" means "and/or". The term "based on" means "based at least in part on". The terms "one example embodiment" and "one embodiment" mean "at least one example embodiment". The term "another embodiment" means "at least one additional embodiment". The terms "first," "second," and the like may refer to different or the same object. Other explicit and implicit definitions are also possible below.
As described above, in the conventional distributed antenna system, in the case of multi-signal set transmission, the number of consumed optical fibers increases as the number of signals increases. Furthermore, in the case of multiple remote units or multiple access units, the number of optical fibers also increases as the number of remote units or access units increases, and thus is not applicable in the case of limited optical fiber resources. In addition, as shown in FIG. 1, the access unit 120 and the remote units (130-1 to 130-n) are connected in a star connection manner, and do not support a chain connection. Under the 2 x 2MIMO (multiple-Input multiple-Output) application conditions as shown in fig. 1, 2n optical fibers are required for n remote units. For the conditions of chain type coverage such as subway tunnels and the like and severely limited optical fiber resources, the traditional distributed antenna system cannot meet the application requirements.
To address, at least in part, one or more of the above problems and other potential problems, example embodiments of the present disclosure propose a distributed antenna system. The distributed antenna system includes: one or more access units configured to receive a plurality of sets of downlink radio frequency signals from at least one base station and to convert the plurality of sets of downlink radio frequency signals into a plurality of sets of downlink optical signals; a first wavelength division multiplexing unit coupled with the plurality of optical transmission ports of the one or more access units and configured to collectively multiplex a plurality of downlink optical signals to generate a first wavelength division multiplexed optical signal; a first wavelength division demultiplexing unit configured to demultiplex the first wavelength division multiplexed optical signal to obtain a plurality of sets of downlink optical signals; a first optical fiber coupled between the first wavelength division multiplexing unit and the first wavelength division demultiplexing unit, configured to transmit a first wavelength division multiplexed optical signal; and one or more first remote units coupled to the first wavelength division demultiplexing unit via the plurality of optical receive ports and configured to convert the plurality of sets of downstream optical signals into a plurality of sets of downstream radio frequency signals for transmission. In this way, after the one or more access units convert the plurality of downlink radio frequency signal sets into the plurality of downlink optical signal sets, the first wavelength division multiplexing unit wavelength division multiplexes the plurality of downlink optical signals and transmits the plurality of downlink optical signals through the one optical fiber, the first wavelength division demultiplexing unit demultiplexes the plurality of downlink optical signal sets to restore the plurality of downlink optical signal sets, and the one or more first remote units convert the plurality of downlink optical signal sets back into the plurality of downlink radio frequency signal sets for the plurality of sectors for transmission.
Hereinafter, specific examples of the present scheme will be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 4 shows a schematic diagram of an example of a distributed antenna system 400 according to a first embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 4, distributed antenna system 400 includes one or more access units 410-1 through 410-n (n is greater than or equal to 1), a first wavelength division multiplexing unit 420, a first optical fiber 430, a first wavelength division demultiplexing unit 440, one or more first remote units 450-1 through 450-n, and one or more first antenna sets 460-1 through 460-n. It should be understood that although fig. 4 shows the same number of access units and first remote units, this is by way of example only, and the number of access units and first remote units may be different, e.g., one access unit, multiple first remote units, or multiple access units, one first remote unit, etc.
One or more access units 410-1 to 410-n configured to receive a plurality of sets of downlink radio frequency signals from at least one base station (not shown) and convert the plurality of sets of downlink radio frequency signals into a plurality of sets of downlink optical signals. Different downstream optical signals in the plurality of downstream optical signal sets have different optical wavelengths. In some embodiments, multiple sets of downlink radio frequency signals are associated with multiple sectors, e.g., one sector may correspond to one set of downlink radio frequency signals. In other embodiments, multiple sets of downlink radio frequency signals are associated with a sector. Each access unit 410-1 to 410-n may comprise at least one optical transmission port OPT and at least one optical reception port OPR. For example, in case one access unit receives a plurality of sets of downlink radio frequency signals, the access unit may comprise a plurality of optical transmission ports OPT and a plurality of optical reception ports OPR. In case multiple access units receive multiple sets of downlink radio frequency signals, an access unit may comprise one or more optical transmission ports OPT and one or more optical reception ports OPR. In particular, the access units 410-1 to 410-n may include one or more access modules and one or more optical modules. For example, in the case where one access unit receives a plurality of sets of downlink radio frequency signals, the access unit may include a plurality of access modules and a plurality of optical modules. Accordingly, the access unit may comprise a plurality of optical transmission ports OPT. In the case where multiple access units receive multiple sets of downlink radio frequency signals, each access unit may include one or more access modules and one or more optical modules. Accordingly, each access unit may comprise one or more optical transmission ports OPT. In case the access units 410-1 to 410-n are connected to one base station, the access module may be a single band access module. In case the access units 410-1 to 410-n are connected to a plurality of base stations, the access module may be a multiband access module. The single band access module and the multi-band access module may be implemented using any suitable technology.
The first wavelength division multiplexing unit 420 is coupled to one or more access units 410-1 to 410-n, for example to a plurality of optical transmission ports OPT of one or more access units 410-1 to 410-n. The first wavelength division multiplexing unit 420 is configured to multiplex a plurality of sets of downlink optical signals to generate a first wavelength division multiplexed optical signal.
And a first optical fiber 430 coupled between the first wavelength division multiplexing unit 420 and the first wavelength division demultiplexing unit 440. The first optical fiber 430 is configured to transmit a first wavelength division multiplexed optical signal.
A first wavelength division demultiplexing unit 440 configured to demultiplex the first wavelength division multiplexed optical signal to obtain a plurality of sets of downlink optical signals.
The one or more first remote units 450-1 to 450-n may be coupled with the first wavelength division demultiplexing unit 440 via a plurality of optical receiving ports OPR. The one or more first remote units 450-1 to 450-n may be configured to convert the plurality of sets of downstream optical signals into a plurality of sets of downstream radio frequency signals for transmission.
One or more first remote units 450-1 through 450-n may be coupled to one or more first antenna sets 460-1 through 460-n. One or more first antenna sets 460-1 through 460-n may be configured to transmit multiple sets of downlink radio frequency signals. In some embodiments, the plurality of first antenna sets 460-1 through 460-n may be configured to transmit a plurality of sets of downlink radio frequency signals to a plurality of sectors. In other embodiments, the plurality of first antenna sets 460-1 through 460-n may be configured to transmit a plurality of sets of downlink radio frequency signals to one sector.
Each first remote unit 450-1 to 450-n may comprise at least one optical transmission port OPT and at least one optical reception port OPR. For example, in the case where one first remote unit receives a plurality of sets of downstream optical signals, the first remote unit may include a plurality of optical receiving ports OPR. Where a plurality of first remote units receive a plurality of sets of downstream optical signals, each first remote unit may comprise one or more optical receive ports OPR. The second optical module included in the first remote units 450-1 to 450-n will be described in detail in conjunction with fig. 9, and other modules in the first remote units may be implemented by any suitable scheme, such as a power division module, a power amplifier low noise amplifier module, and the like.
Thus, for the case of multiple downlink rf signal sets, after the one or more access units convert the multiple downlink rf signal sets into multiple downlink optical signal sets, the multiple downlink optical signal sets are wavelength division multiplexed by the first wavelength division multiplexing unit and transmitted through the optical fiber, then the multiple downlink optical signal sets are demultiplexed by the first wavelength division demultiplexing unit to restore the multiple downlink optical signal sets, and then the multiple downlink optical signal sets are converted back to the multiple downlink rf signal sets by the one or more first remote units for transmission. The scheme disclosed by the invention realizes the transmission of a plurality of downlink signal sets by using only one optical fiber, the number of the optical fibers is not increased along with the increase of the number of signals, the number of access units or the number of remote units, and compared with the traditional scheme which needs a plurality of optical fibers, the number of the optical fibers is greatly reduced.
In addition, the distributed antenna system 400 may further include a second wavelength division multiplexing unit 470, a second optical fiber 480, and a second wavelength division demultiplexing unit 490.
The one or more first remote units 450-1 to 450-n may also be configured to receive a plurality of first sets of uplink radio frequency signals via the one or more first sets of antennas 460-1 to 460-n and convert the plurality of first sets of uplink radio frequency signals into a plurality of first sets of uplink optical signals. Different upstream optical signals in the plurality of upstream optical signal sets have different optical wavelengths. In some embodiments, multiple first uplink rf signal sets are associated with multiple sectors, e.g., one sector may correspond to one first uplink rf signal set. In other embodiments, a plurality of first sets of uplink radio frequency signals are associated with a sector.
A second wavelength division multiplexing unit 470 is coupled to one or more first remote units 450-1 to 450-n, for example to a plurality of optical transmission ports OPR of one or more first remote units 450-1 to 450-n. For example, in the case where one first remote unit receives a plurality of first sets of uplink radio frequency signals, the first remote unit may include a plurality of optical transmission ports OPT. In the case where a plurality of first remote units receive a plurality of first sets of uplink radio frequency signals, each first remote unit may include one or more optical transmission ports OPT. The second wavelength division multiplexing unit 470 is configured to multiplex the plurality of first upstream optical signal sets to generate a second wavelength division multiplexed optical signal.
And a second optical fiber 480 coupled between the second wavelength division multiplexing unit 470 and the second wavelength division demultiplexing unit 490. The second optical fiber 480 is configured to transmit a second wavelength division multiplexed optical signal.
A second wavelength division demultiplexing unit 490 configured to demultiplex the second wavelength division multiplexed optical signal to obtain a plurality of first upstream optical signal sets.
The one or more access units 410-1 to 410-n are further coupled to a second wavelength division demultiplexing unit 490, e.g. the one or more access units 410-1 to 410-n may be coupled to the second wavelength division demultiplexing unit 490 via a plurality of optical receiving ports OPR. For example, in case one access unit receives multiple sets of upstream optical signals, the access unit may comprise multiple optical receiving ports OPR. In case multiple access units receive multiple sets of upstream optical signals, each access unit may comprise one or more optical receiving ports OPR. The one or more access units 410-1 through 410-n may also be configured to convert the plurality of first sets of uplink optical signals into a plurality of first sets of uplink radio frequency signals for transmission to at least one base station.
Thus, for the case of multiple uplink rf signal sets, after the one or more first remote units convert the multiple uplink rf signal sets into multiple uplink optical signal sets, the multiple uplink optical signal sets are wavelength division multiplexed by the second wavelength division multiplexing unit and transmitted through one optical fiber, then the multiple uplink optical signal sets are demultiplexed by the second wavelength division demultiplexing unit to restore multiple uplink optical signal sets, and then the multiple uplink optical signal sets are converted back to multiple uplink rf signal sets by the one or more access units for transmission to the base station. The scheme disclosed by the invention realizes the transmission of a plurality of uplink signal sets by only one optical fiber, the number of the optical fibers is not increased along with the increase of the number of signals, the number of access units or the number of remote units, and compared with the traditional scheme which needs a plurality of optical fibers, the number of the optical fibers is greatly reduced.
In some embodiments, the downlink rf signal set may include one downlink rf signal for single input and single output.
In other embodiments, the set of downlink radio frequency signals may include multiple downlink radio frequency signals for multiple-input multiple-output. In this case, each access unit of the plurality of access units may be configured to receive a corresponding set of downlink radio frequency signals from at least one base station. The corresponding downlink radio frequency signal set comprises a plurality of downlink radio frequency signals for multiple input and multiple output.
Each access unit may be further configured to convert the downlink radio frequency signal set including the plurality of downlink radio frequency signals for multiple input multiple output into a downlink optical signal set including a plurality of downlink optical signals. The number of the plurality of downlink optical signals is the same as the number of the plurality of downlink radio frequency signals. In addition, different downstream optical signals of the plurality of downstream optical signals have different optical wavelengths.
Each first remote unit of the plurality of first remote units may be configured to convert the plurality of downstream optical signals in the corresponding set of downstream optical signals into a set of downstream radio frequency signals comprising a plurality of downstream radio frequency signals for multiple-input-multiple-output for transmission. A first set of antennas coupled to a first remote unit may be configured to transmit a set of downlink radio frequency signals, e.g., to a corresponding sector.
In some embodiments, in a case where one access unit receives a plurality of downlink rf signal sets, the plurality of downlink rf signal sets may include multiple downlink rf signals for mimo, where each downlink rf signal set includes one downlink rf signal of the multiple downlink rf signals.
Fig. 5 shows a schematic diagram of an example of a distributed antenna system 500 according to a second embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 5, the access unit 510-1 comprises two optical transmission ports OPT for the case of, for example, 2 x 2 MIMO. The downlink rf signal set includes 2 downlink rf signals, and the access unit 510-1 may convert the 2 downlink rf signals into 2 downlink optical signals via 2 optical modules (not shown), and send the 2 downlink optical signals to the first wavelength division multiplexing unit 520 via 2 optical sending ports OPT, respectively. The remaining access units (e.g., 510-n) are similar and will not be described in detail. It should be understood that although fig. 5 shows the same number of access units and first remote units, this is by way of example only, and the number of access units and first remote units may be different, e.g., one access unit, multiple first remote units, or multiple access units, one first remote unit, etc.
The first wavelength division multiplexing unit 520 multiplexes the 2 downlink optical signals and the downlink optical signals (2 n downlink optical signals in total) received from other access units, and transmits the multiplexed signals to the first wavelength division demultiplexing unit 540 via the first optical fiber 530. It should be understood that in the case where n is 1, there are no other access units.
The first wavelength division demultiplexing unit 540 demultiplexes the wavelength division multiplexed signal in the first optical fiber 530 to obtain the 2 downlink optical signals and downlink optical signals received from other access units, for a total of 2n downlink optical signals.
The first remote unit 550-1 includes two optical receiving ports OPR. The first remote unit 550-1 may receive the corresponding 2 downlink optical signals from the first wavelength division demultiplexing unit 540 through the two optical receiving ports OPR, respectively, and convert the 2 downlink optical signals into 2 downlink radio frequency signals via 2 optical modules (not shown). The remaining first remote units (e.g., 550-n) are similar and will not be described in detail.
The first antenna set 560-1 may include two antennas for transmitting 2 downlink rf signals from the first remote unit 550-1, e.g., to a corresponding sector. The remaining first antenna sets (e.g., 560-n) are similar and will not be described in further detail.
Thus, for the case of mimo, after the access unit converts the multiple downlink rf signals for mimo into multiple downlink optical signals, the multiple downlink optical signals are wavelength division multiplexed by the first wavelength division multiplexing unit and transmitted through one optical fiber, then demultiplexed by the first wavelength division demultiplexing unit to be restored into multiple downlink optical signals, and then converted back into the multiple downlink rf signals for mimo by the first remote unit for transmission. The scheme disclosed by the invention realizes multi-input multi-output downlink signal transmission by only one optical fiber, the number of the optical fibers is not increased along with the increase of the number of signals, and compared with the traditional scheme in which a plurality of optical fibers are needed for multi-input multi-output, the number of the optical fibers is greatly reduced.
In some embodiments, each of the plurality of first sets of uplink radio frequency signals includes multiple uplink radio frequency signals for multiple-input multiple-output. Each first remote unit of the plurality of first remote units may be configured to receive a corresponding first set of uplink radio frequency signals via a first set of antennas coupled to the first remote unit. Each of the plurality of first remote units may be further configured to convert the plurality of uplink radio frequency signals for mimo that the corresponding first uplink radio frequency signal set includes into a first uplink optical signal set that includes the plurality of uplink optical signals. The number of the plurality of uplink optical signals is the same as the number of the plurality of uplink radio frequency signals. Different ones of the plurality of upstream optical signals have different optical wavelengths.
Each of the one or more access units may be further configured to convert the corresponding first set of uplink optical signals to a first set of uplink radio frequency signals for transmission to at least one base station.
As also shown in fig. 5, the first remote unit 550-1 includes two optical transmission ports OPT. First remote unit 550-1 may receive a first set of uplink radio frequency signals via first set of antennas 560-1, the first set of uplink radio frequency signals comprising 2 uplink radio frequency signals. The first remote unit 550-1 converts the 2 uplink radio frequency signals into 2 uplink optical signals via 2 optical modules (not shown) and transmits to the second wavelength division multiplexing unit 570 via two optical transmission ports OPT. The remaining first remote units (e.g., 550-n) are similar and will not be described in detail. It will be appreciated that in the case where n is 1, there are no other first remote units.
The second wavelength division multiplexing unit 570 multiplexes the 2 uplink optical signals and the uplink optical signals (2 n optical signals in total) received from the other first remote units, and transmits the multiplexed signals to the second wavelength division demultiplexing unit 590 through the second optical fiber 580.
The second wavelength division demultiplexing unit 590 demultiplexes the wavelength division multiplexed signal in the second optical fiber 580 to obtain the 2 uplink optical signals and the uplink optical signals received from the other first remote units, for a total of 2n uplink optical signals.
The access unit 510-1 includes two optical receiving ports OPR. The access unit 510-1 receives corresponding 2 uplink optical signals from the second wavelength division demultiplexing unit 590 via 2 optical receiving ports OPR, respectively, and converts the 2 uplink optical signals into 2 uplink radio frequency signals via 2 optical modules (not shown) for transmission to at least one base station. The remaining access units (e.g., 510-n) are similar and will not be described in detail.
Thus, for the case of mimo, after the first remote unit converts the multiple uplink rf signals for mimo into multiple uplink optical signals, the multiple uplink optical signals are wavelength division multiplexed by the second wavelength division multiplexing unit and transmitted through one optical fiber, then demultiplexed by the second wavelength division demultiplexing unit to be restored into multiple uplink optical signals, and then converted back into multiple uplink rf signals for mimo by the access unit for transmission to the base station. The scheme disclosed by the invention realizes the multi-input multi-output uplink signal transmission by only one optical fiber, the number of the optical fibers is not increased along with the increase of the number of signals, and compared with the traditional scheme in which a plurality of optical fibers are needed for the multi-input multi-output uplink signal transmission, the number of the optical fibers is greatly reduced.
It should be understood that although fig. 5 shows a 2 x 2MIMO scenario, this is merely an example, and other MIMO scenarios are possible, such as 4 x 4MIMO, etc. For different MIMO scenarios, the access unit and the first remote unit may have a corresponding number of optical transmit ports and optical receive ports, and the first set of antennas may have a corresponding number of antennas, although the scope of the disclosure is not limited in this respect.
In some embodiments, each of the plurality of first uplink rf signal sets includes one uplink rf signal for single input and single output.
In some embodiments, in the case that one first remote unit receives a plurality of uplink rf signal sets, the plurality of uplink rf signal sets may include multiple uplink rf signals for mimo, where each uplink rf signal set includes one uplink rf signal of the multiple uplink rf signals.

One or more second remote units 612-1 to 612-n are coupled to the third wavelength division multiplexing unit 611, for example, via a plurality of optical receiving ports OPR. For example, in case one second remote unit receives a plurality of sets of downstream optical signals, the second remote unit may comprise a plurality of optical receiving ports OPR. Where a plurality of second remote units receive a plurality of sets of downstream optical signals, each second remote unit may comprise one or more optical receiving ports OPR. The method is particularly suitable for scenes with chain type coverage and severely limited optical fiber resources such as subway tunnels.
In addition, the distributed antenna system 600 may further include a third wavelength division multiplexing unit 614 and an optical coupling unit 615.
The one or more second remote units 612-1 to 612-n may also be configured to receive a plurality of second sets of upstream radio frequency signals via the one or more second sets of antennas 613-1 to 613-n and convert the plurality of second sets of upstream radio frequency signals into a plurality of second sets of upstream optical signals. In some embodiments, multiple second uplink rf signal sets are associated with multiple sectors, e.g., one sector may correspond to one second uplink rf signal set. In other embodiments, a plurality of second sets of uplink radio frequency signals are associated with a sector.
The third wavelength division multiplexing unit 614 is coupled to one or more second remote units 612-1 to 612-n, for example, to a plurality of optical transmission ports OPT of one or more second remote units 612-1 to 612-n. For example, in the case where one second remote unit receives a plurality of second sets of uplink radio frequency signals, the second remote unit may include a plurality of optical transmission ports OPT. Therefore, through uplink/downlink fiber distribution transmission and external connection of a wavelength division multiplexing demultiplexer, chain cascade of a distributed antenna system is realized, and the influence of uplink background noise on a base station is greatly reduced. For the situation of multiple input multiple output and multiple chain type, multiple uplink optical signals after multiple uplink radio frequency signals for multiple input multiple output are subjected to electro-optical conversion are transmitted to the vicinity of the access unit for demultiplexing through one optical fiber by wavelength division multiplexing, and compared with the situation that multiple optical fibers are needed for multiple input multiple output in the traditional scheme, the number of the optical fibers is greatly reduced.
