Description

Wiper blade package and folding sheet for manufacturing wiper blade package
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a packaging field of a wiper blade, and more particularly, to a wiper blade packaging case and a folding sheet for manufacturing the wiper blade packaging case.
Background
A wiper blade for wiping a windshield of a motor vehicle has a wiper blade. The wiper blade is worn by contact with the surface of the windshield. When the service life of the wiper blade is over, it needs to be replaced. New wiper blades can be purchased at an accessory store.
In order to present wiper blades to consumers in an automobile accessory store, wiper blades are often packaged in wiper blade packages, such as packaging boxes. Wiper blade packages must be designed to protect the wiper blade during handling or transport.
However, existing wiper blade packages are usually composed of a wiper blade package and close the top opening of the wiper blade package only by means of a folding cover flap of the wiper blade package, so that the cover flap is easily pushed aside by the wiper blade during handling or transportation, causing the wiper blade to detach from the wiper blade package through the top opening.
Therefore, the existing wiper blade package still has many disadvantages in terms of structural rigidity.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
The object of the present invention is to provide an improved wiper blade package and a folded sheet for manufacturing the wiper blade package, so as to improve the rigidity of the wiper blade package.
According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a wiper blade packing case for packing a wiper blade of a wiper, characterized in that the wiper blade packing case includes: a first wall plate and a second wall plate enclosing an accommodating chamber for accommodating the wiper blade, wherein the first wall plate and the second wall plate respectively have a top end and a bottom end in a longitudinal direction of the wiper blade package case; a first cover flap extending from a top end of the first wall panel and configured to be deflected toward the second wall panel relative to the first wall panel to a position covering the first opening of the receiving cavity, the first cover flap having an engagement opening; an extension piece extending from the top end of the second wall panel, which is folded towards the bottom end of the second wall panel, wherein the extension piece has an engagement tongue at its free end in the longitudinal direction, which engagement tongue is inserted into the engagement opening.
Illustratively, the free end of the extension piece has an arcuate edge and rests along said arcuate edge against an outer surface of the first cover flap facing away from the receiving cavity.
Illustratively, in the unfolded planar state, the width of the extension piece perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is equal to the width of the second wall panel perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.
Illustratively, the first cover flap has a tab at an edge remote from the first wall panel, the tab being deflected along the engagement opening relative to the first cover flap into the receiving cavity and abutting against the second wall panel.
Illustratively, the second wall panel has a protruding section at the top end extending beyond the first wall panel, the first suspension opening being formed in the first section; a second hang opening is formed in the extension flap, the extension flap folded toward the bottom end of the first wall panel overlapping the protruding section, the first hang opening coinciding with the second hang opening.
Exemplarily, the wiper blade package case further includes: a second cover flap extending from the bottom end of the first wall panel and configured to be deflected toward the second wall panel relative to the first wall panel to a position covering the second opening of the receiving cavity; and a third lid flap extending from a bottom end of the second wall panel and configured to be adapted to be deflected relative to the second wall panel toward the first wall panel to a position covering the second opening of the receiving cavity, wherein: a first cutout and a second cutout extending in a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction are formed between the second cover flap and the first wall panel at both ends of the second cover flap in the transverse direction, respectively; third and fourth cutouts extending in a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction are formed between the third cover flap and the second wall panel at both ends of the third cover flap in the transverse direction, respectively.
Exemplarily, the extension of the first and second cut in the transverse direction is 4% to 6% of the extension of the second cover flap in the transverse direction; and/or the extension of the third and fourth cuts in the transverse direction is 4% to 6% of the extension of the third cover flap in the transverse direction.
Exemplarily, corners with circular arc-shaped outer contours are respectively arranged at two ends of the edge of the second cover wing panel connected with the first wall panel; and/or corners with circular arc-shaped outer contours are respectively arranged at two ends of the edge of the third cover wing panel connected with the second wall panel.
Exemplarily, the wiper blade package housing is formed from a one-piece sheet material.
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a folded sheet for manufacturing a wiper blade package, characterized in that the folded sheet is shaped to be adapted to be folded into a wiper blade package according to the present invention.
In the present invention, by providing the extension piece and inserting the engagement tongue piece of the extension piece into the engagement opening of the first cover flap, the rigidity of the wiper blade package, in particular of the top cover structure of the wiper blade package, can be improved. In this top cover structure, the first cover wing needs to be opened by deforming the extension piece, and the wiper blade located in the wiper blade package case can impact the first cover wing only in the longitudinal direction, and the extension piece extending in the longitudinal direction is less likely to be deformed by the impact force in the longitudinal direction generated by the wiper blade. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the wiper blade from being detached from the wiper blade package by the first cover flap being undesirably opened.

Detailed Description
In order to make the technical problems, technical solutions and advantageous effects of the present invention more apparent, the present invention will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and exemplary embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the utility model and do not limit the scope of the utility model.
The wiper blade package according to the present invention is configured to accommodate a wiper blade of a wiper blade so as to protect the wiper blade during transportation or shipment, and/or to be displayed in a shop to show the wiper blade to consumers. The exemplary article to be received by the package is not limited to a wiper blade of a wiper blade, but may include other elongated articles.
It is to be understood that, herein, the expressions "first", "second", etc. are used for descriptive purposes only and are not to be construed as indicating or implying a relative importance, nor are they to be construed as implicitly indicating the number of technical features indicated. A feature defined as "first" or "second" may be explicitly or implicitly indicated as including at least one of the feature. The "longitudinal direction" of an object means its main extension direction, i.e. the direction extending parallel to the longest side of the smallest geometrical parallelepiped that exactly completely encloses the object.
Fig. 1A schematically shows a perspective view of a wiper blade package 1 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 1B schematically shows an expanded view of a folded sheet 1' for manufacturing the wiper blade package 1 shown in fig. 1. The wiper blade package case 1 is used to package a wiper blade of a wiper, and forms a main body of a wiper blade package, which may further include, for example, an adhesive sheet or a label, etc., attached to the wiper blade package case 1. As shown in fig. 1A and 1B, the wiper blade package 1 includes: a first wall panel 10 and a second wall panel 12, which enclose a pillow-shaped receiving space for receiving the wiper blade, wherein the first wall panel 10 and the second wall panel 12 each have a top end (on the left in fig. 1B) and a bottom end (on the right in fig. 1B) in a longitudinal direction D1 of the wiper blade package 1; a first cover flap 14 extending from a top end of the first wall panel 10, the first cover flap 14 being configured to be deflectable relative to the first wall panel 10 towards the second wall panel 12 to a position covering the first opening of the receiving cavity, the first cover flap 14 having an engagement opening 140; an extension piece 16 extending from the top end of the second wall panel 12, said extension piece 16 being foldable towards the bottom end of the first wall panel 10, wherein the extension piece 16 has an engagement tongue 160, said engagement tongue 160 being inserted into the engagement opening 140.
The conventional wiper blade package forms the top cover structure of the wiper blade package only by the first cover flap 14. Such a cap structure is weak in rigidity, so that the wiper blade easily falls out from the top end of the wiper blade package during handling or transportation.
According to the present invention, the rigidity of the cap structure of the wiper blade package can be improved by providing the extension piece 16 and inserting the engagement tongue 160 of the extension piece 16 into the engagement opening 140 of the first cover flap 14. In this cap structure, it is necessary to deform the extension piece 16 to open the first cover flap 14, and the wiper blade located in the wiper blade package 1 can only impact the first cover flap 14 in the longitudinal direction D1, and the extension piece 16 extending in the longitudinal direction D1 is apparently not easily deformed by the impact force in the longitudinal direction D1 generated by the wiper blade. Thereby, it is possible to prevent the wiper blade from being detached from the wiper blade package 1 by the first cover flap 14 being opened undesirably.
Even if the wiper blade rocks within the wiper blade package 1 and impacts the first cover flap 14 during handling or transport, the extension piece 16 will prevent the first cover flap 14 from opening outwards due to the plug connection between the engagement tongue 160 and the engagement opening 140. In other words, it is difficult to disengage the plug connection between the engagement tongue 160 and the engagement opening 140 and thus to open the first cover flap 14, simply by the force of the wiper blade impacting the first cover flap 14 within the wiper blade package 1.
To form a pillow-shaped receiving cavity, the first wall panel 10 and the second wall panel 12 may be bent in the transverse direction D2 such that the cross-sections of the first wall panel 10 and the second wall panel 12 are curved opposite each other. The first wall panel 10 may have a trapezoidal adhesive tab extending in the longitudinal direction D1 that can be adhered to the second wall panel 12.
As shown in fig. 1B, the wiper blade package case 1 can be unfolded into an integral sheet. For example, a folded sheet 1 'may be made by cutting or punching a sheet material into a desired shape, the folded sheet 1' forming the wiper blade package 1 by folding. The sheet/folded sheet 1' may include, but is not limited to, a transparent, translucent or opaque plastic material or other material. The sheet may especially comprise a sheet made of PET. In fig. 1B, the fold lines of the folded sheet 1 'are exemplarily shown in dashed lines, along which the folded sheet 1' can be folded into the wiper blade package 1 shown in fig. 1A.
A drawing or a text relating to the accommodated wiper blade may be present, for example printed, on the surface of the wiper blade package 1.
The wiper blade package may further include a label, for example, a label printed with figures or letters may be adhered to the surface of the wiper blade package housing 1.
As exemplarily shown in fig. 1B, in the unfolded planar state, the width of the extension piece 16 perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D1 is equal to the width of the second wall panel 12 perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D1. This makes it possible to provide the extending piece 16 with the rigidity against deformation as large as possible without increasing the volume of the wiper blade package 1.
The person skilled in the art will understand that the width of an object means the width of the object as a whole, irrespective of local detail structures of the object in the longitudinal direction, for example less than 20%, in particular less than 10%. For example, the width of the extension piece 16 may be disregarded for the tab 142 of the extension piece 16.
The first cover flap 14 has, for example, at the edge remote from the first wall panel 10, a tab 142, which tab 142 is deflected along the engagement opening 140 relative to the first cover flap 14 into the receiving cavity and rests on the second wall panel 12. This further increases the rigidity of the roof structure.
The free end of the extension piece 16 has, for example, an arcuate edge and rests along said arcuate edge against the outer surface of the first cover flap 14 facing away from the receiving chamber. Therefore, when the wiper blade in the wiper blade package 1 pushes the first cover flap 14 outward in an attempt to open the first cover flap 14, the first cover flap 14 will be stopped from deflecting outward by the extension piece 16 abutting on its outer surface with an arc-shaped edge. In addition, by the arcuate edge of the extension piece 16 abutting the outer surface of the first cover flap 14, a more aesthetically pleasing appearance can be provided to the wiper blade package.
Optionally, the second wall panel 12 has a protruding section 120 at the top end extending beyond the first wall panel 10, a first hang opening 122 being formed in the first section; the second hanging opening 162 is formed in the extension piece 16, the extension piece 16 folded toward the bottom end of the first wall panel 10 overlaps the protruding section 120, and the first hanging opening 122 coincides with the second hanging opening 162. The coincident first and second hang openings 122, 162 may be used to display the wiper blade package in a hanging manner.
In an exemplary embodiment according to the present invention, the wiper blade package 1 further includes: a second cover flap 18 (see fig. 1B) extending from the bottom end of the first wall panel 10 and configured to be deflectable relative to the first wall panel 10 toward the second wall panel 12 to a position covering the second opening of the receiving cavity; and a third cover flap 20 extending from the bottom end of the second wall panel 12, which is deflected relative to the second wall panel 12 towards the first wall panel 10 to a position covering the second opening of the receiving cavity. A bottom cover structure of the wiper blade package may be formed by the second cover flap 18 and the third cover flap 20, thereby preventing the wiper blade from being detached from the wiper blade package 1 via the second opening. The second cover flap 18 and the third cover flap 20 may be secured in position covering the second opening, for example by adhesive bonding. For example, the second lid flap 18 may be located outside the third lid flap 20 and the second lid flap 18 may be adhered to the second wall panel 12 by an adhesive sheet, such as an adhesive coated label, thereby closing the second opening.
Fig. 2 schematically shows a partial view of a folded sheet 1' for forming a wiper blade package 1 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, a first cutout 180 and a second cutout 182 extending in a transverse direction D2 perpendicular to the longitudinal direction D1 are formed between the second lid flap 18 and the first wall panel 10 at both ends of the second lid flap 18 in the transverse direction D2, respectively. Alternatively or additionally, a third cutout 200 and a fourth cutout 202 extending in the transverse direction D2 are formed between the third lid flap 20 and the second wall panel 12 at both ends of the third lid flap 20 in the transverse direction D2, respectively. By such a cut, the elasticity of the bottom cap structure of the wiper blade package can be improved. Thereby, the likelihood of the wiper blade package breaking at the bottom cover structure when dropped from a height is reduced.
The extension of the first cutout 180 and the second cutout 182 in the transverse direction D2 is less than 10% of the extension of the second lid flap 18 in the transverse direction D2, in particular 4% to 6%, in particular around 5%, of the extension of the second lid flap 18 in the transverse direction D2.
The extension of the third and fourth cuts 200, 202 in the transverse direction D2 is less than 10% of the extension of the third lid flap 20 in the transverse direction D2, in particular 4% to 6%, in particular around 5% of the extension of the third lid flap 20 in the transverse direction D2.
Therefore, the elasticity of the bottom cover structure can be improved on the basis of keeping the strength of the bottom cover structure.
Alternatively, the edge of the second cover flap 18 connected to the first wall panel 10 has corners with a rounded outer contour at both ends. The edge of the third cover flap 20 that is connected to the second wall panel 12 has corners with a rounded outer contour at both ends. This reduces the possibility of the wiper blade package breaking at the bottom cover structure when dropped from a high place.
Although specific embodiments of the utility model have been described herein in detail, they have been presented for purposes of illustration only and are not to be construed as limiting the scope of the utility model. Various substitutions, alterations, and modifications may be devised without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
