The locking device 13 is arranged between the folding mechanism 11 and the frame support 12. When in the unfolded state, one end of the locking device 13 is connected to a folding unit 111 of the folding mechanism 11, the other end of the locking device 13 is connected to a frame unit 121 of the frame bracket 12, and the locking device 13 is supported between the folding mechanism 11 and the frame bracket 12, whereby the locking device 13 prevents the folding mechanism 11 from rotating.
The wheelchair frame 10 further includes a two-seat frame 14, wherein the two-seat frame 14 is disposed outside the frame bracket 12, and the two-seat frame 14 is pivotably disposed on the frame bracket 12, and the two-seat frame 14 is supported by the frame bracket 12 to form the seat space 100.
The seat-side frame 14 includes a pivotal connection end 141 and a free unfolding end 142 integrally extending from the pivotal connection end 141, wherein the pivotal connection end 141 of the seat-side frame 14 is pivotally connected to the supporting side rail 1213 of the stand unit 121, and wherein the seat-side frame 14 is rotatable about the pivotal connection end 141. The free unfolded end 142 of the seat-side frame 14 may be fixed to the front end of the holder unit 121, i.e., the seat-side frame 14 and the holder unit 121 are parallel to each other in the longitudinal direction. When the unfolding free end 142 of the seat frame 14 is fixed to the front end of the holder unit 121, the seat space 100 is formed inside the seat frame 14 and above the folding mechanism 11. When the deployment free end 142 of the seat frame 14 is deployed from the front end of the holder unit 121, the seat space 100 is opened so that the body of the user can enter the seat space 100 or be removed from the seat space 100.
The wheelchair frame 10 includes at least one frame connector 15, wherein the folding mechanism 11 is secured to the frame bracket 12 by the frame connector 15, and the seat frame 14 is lockable to the front end of the frame bracket 12 by the frame connector 15. The frame connector 15 has a locking hole 150, wherein the free flared end 142 of the seat frame 14 can be secured to the locking hole 150 of the frame connector 15. The locking aperture 150 of the frame connector 15 is sized larger than the free open end 142 of the seat frame 14. Thus, the locking hole 150 of the frame connector 15 has a locking position and an unlocking position, and when the free unfolding end 142 of the seat frame 14 is moved to the locking position, the seat frame 14 is locked and fixed by the frame connector 15; when the free deployment end 142 of the seat-side frame 14 is moved to the unlocked position, the seat-side frame 14 is unlocked and can be removed from the locking hole 150.
The folding wheelchair further includes a handle assembly 40, wherein the handle assembly 40 is coupled to a front end of the wheelchair frame 10, the handle assembly 40 being supported by the wheelchair frame 10. Preferably, in the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the handle assembly 40 is detachably provided to the frame bracket 12 of the wheelchair frame 10, and when the folding wheelchair is in the unfolded state, the handle assembly 40 can be mounted to the wheelchair frame 10 for the user to operate and use; when the folding wheelchair is in the folded condition, the handle assembly 40 is detachable from the wheelchair frame 10 to reduce the size of the folding wheelchair in the (fore-and-aft) length direction, which facilitates further reduction in the volume of the folding wheelchair.
It is worth mentioning that both the front wheel assembly 30 and the handle assembly 40 can be disassembled, and in the folded state, the folding wheelchair is not stable, so that the front wheel assembly 30 and the handle assembly 40 can be stored separately after being disassembled, and the front wheel assembly 30 and the handle assembly 40 of the folding wheelchair can be prevented from colliding with other objects.
More preferably, in the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the handle assembly 40 is telescopically disposed to the wheelchair frame 10, wherein the handle assembly 40 is located at the front end of the frame unit 121 of the frame 12, and the handle assembly 40 extends forward from the frame unit 121. The position of the handle assembly 40 is adjusted by adjusting the outward extension length of the handle assembly 40 to meet the use requirements of different users.
The handle assembly 40 includes two handle devices 41, wherein the handle devices 41 are detachably and telescopically disposed on the second support rail 1212 of the holder unit 121. The handle assembly 41 includes a telescopic connector 411 and a handle body 412, wherein the telescopic connector 411 is telescopically disposed at the second support rail 1212 of the rack unit 121, and the handle body 412 is coupled to the telescopic connector 411.
The telescopic connecting member 411 can be adjustably sleeved on the second supporting cross bar 1212 of the rack unit 121, and the position of the handle body 412 can be adjusted by adjusting the length of the telescopic connecting member 411 in the second supporting cross bar 1212. The telescopic links 411 of the handle assembly 40 are mutually locked with the second support crossbar 1212 by a locking unit to prevent the handle assembly 40 from being detached from the wheelchair frame 10 during use.
The second support rail 1212 has an adjustment hole 12120, and the telescopic connector 411 has at least one locking hole 4110 at a position corresponding to the adjustment hole 12120, wherein the locking unit is fixed to the locking hole 4110 of the telescopic connector 411 through the adjustment hole 12120 of the second support rail 1212. Preferably, in the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the locking unit may be, but is not limited to, a rivet or screw connector.
It should be noted that the adjusting hole 12120 of the second support crossbar 1212 is a through hole extending in a strip shape along the front-back direction (length direction) of the second support crossbar 1212, so as to allow the telescopic connection 411 to move telescopically along the front-back direction (length direction) of the second support crossbar 1212. In short, in the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the adjusting hole 12120 of the second supporting cross bar 1212 is an elongated through hole, and the locking hole 4110 of the telescopic connector 411 is a circular hole for fixing the locking unit.
The second support cross bar 1212 is further provided with at least one positioning hole 12121, wherein the telescopic connector 411 is provided with a positioning slot 4111 at a position corresponding to the positioning hole 12121, wherein the positioning hole 12121 controls the maximum (or minimum) extension length of the handle assembly 40 through a positioning unit. It should be noted that in the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the positioning slot 4111 of the telescopic connector 411 is an elongated through hole, wherein the positioning element (such as a rivet or a screw) extends from the positioning hole 12121 of the second support rail 1212 to the positioning slot 4111 of the telescopic connector 411 to limit the maximum or minimum extension length of the telescopic connector 411.
The telescopic connection 411 further comprises a telescopic member 4112 and a carrier 4113, wherein the carrier 4113 is fixed to an end of the telescopic member 4112, and the handle body 412 is coupled to the carrier 4113 of the telescopic connection 411.
It is worth mentioning that when the folding wheelchair is used, the user can adjust the distance between the handle assembly 40 and the wheelchair frame 10 by adjusting the handle body 412 of the handle assembly 41 to drive the telescopic link 411 to move along the front-rear direction (length direction) of the second support crossbar 1212. It will be appreciated that by adjusting the distance of the handle assembly 40 from the wheelchair frame 10, the distance of the user's body from the seating space 100 is adjusted when the user is using the folding wheelchair.
Since the wheelchair is used, the user sits down and rearward in the seat space 100 of the wheelchair frame 10. Thus, when a user sits down, the handle assembly 40 can be adjusted such that the handle assembly 40 moves in the direction of the wheelchair frame 10 to facilitate the user's body proximity to the seating space 100 of the wheelchair frame 10. The closer the user sits down, the closer the body is to the seat space 100 of the wheelchair frame 10, the more the user is prevented from sitting empty. On the other hand, when the user uses the folding wheelchair, the distance between the handle assembly 40 and the wheelchair frame 10 is adjusted, so that the positions of the hands and/or feet of the user can be adjusted according to the requirements of the user.
It is worth mentioning that the carrier 4112 of the telescopic connection 411 is a sleeve structure, wherein the handle body 412 can be sleeved on the carrier 4112 of the telescopic connection 411, and the handle body 412 is carried by the carrier 4112.
The handle body 412 is fixed to the carrier 4112 of the telescopic connection 411, wherein the handle body 412 includes a handle holder 4121 and at least one plug 4122 provided to the handle holder 4121, wherein the plug 4122 is provided to an end of the handle holder 4121 and extends downward from the handle holder 4121.
The plug 4122 of the handle body 412 may be plugged into the carrier 4112 of the telescopic connection 411. The handle grip 4121 of the handle body 412 includes a first handle unit 41211 and a second handle unit 41212, wherein the plug 4122 of the handle body 412 is integrally provided to the first handle unit 41211. The second handle unit 41212 of the handle body 412 is fixed to the outside of the carrier 4112 of the telescopic connection 411, whereby the second handle unit 41212 fixes the handle body 412.
It is worth mentioning that the first handle unit 41211 and the second handle unit 41212 of the handle body 412 form an annular handle space 41210 for the user to grip. The handle assembly 40 further includes at least one handle operation plate 42, wherein the handle operation plate 42 is provided to the handle unit 41. The handle operating plate 42 is provided to the handle space 41210 of the handle main body 412, and the handle assembly 40 can be controlled by the handle operating plate 42 when the user uses the folding wheelchair.
The folding wheelchair further comprises a foot rest device 50, wherein the foot rest device 50 is coupled to the handle assembly 40, the foot rest device 50 being adapted to support the foot of the user. When the folding wheelchair is used for sitting behind a user, the foot rest 50 first contacts the foot or leg of the user. Therefore, the user can feel the folding wheelchair behind the user in advance through the position of the feet or the legs. The footrest device 50 is blocked by the user's foot or leg and transmits a force to the handle assembly 40, wherein the handle assembly 40 is driven to move toward the wheelchair frame 10, so that the seat space 100 of the wheelchair frame 10 is shortened from the user's position, and the user can more conveniently sit in the seat space 100 of the wheelchair frame 10 when sitting down, thereby avoiding the risk of the user sitting empty.
The footrest device 50 is linked to the handle assembly 40, and when the footrest device 50 is under the action of a resistance, the handle assembly 40 is driven to move synchronously, so as to adjust the distance between the seat space 100 of the wheelchair frame 10 and the position of the user.
It will be appreciated that when the user is seated, the user can adjust the distance of the foot rest device 50 by adjusting the position of the handle assembly 40, thereby adapting the position of the foot rest device 50 to the user's foot.
The footrest device 50 is detachably provided to a lower end of the handle main body 412 of the handle assembly 40, and when the folding wheelchair is folded, the footrest device 50 can be detached or folded upward to further reduce the space of the folding wheelchair. The foot rest device 50 is telescopically arranged at the lower end of the handle main body 412, and the height of the foot rest 50 from the ground is adjusted by adjusting the telescopic length of the foot rest device 50 so as to adapt to users with different heights.
The footrest device 50 includes a footrest 51 and a footrest link 52, wherein the footrest 51 is pivotally provided to the footrest link 52, the footrest link 52 is detachably and telescopically provided to the lower end of the handle body 412, and the height of the footrest 51 is adjusted by adjusting the telescopic length of the footrest link 52. The pedal plate 51 is pivotally connected to the foot rest link 52, and the pedal plate 51 can be flipped upward, so that the pedal plate 51 and the foot rest link 52 are folded, which facilitates the folding wheelchair to further reduce the occupied space.
It will be appreciated by persons skilled in the art that the embodiments of the utility model described above and shown in the drawings are given by way of example only and are not limiting of the utility model. The objects of the utility model have been fully and effectively accomplished. The functional and structural principles of the present invention have been shown and described in the examples, and any variations or modifications of the embodiments of the present invention may be made without departing from the principles.

Claims (18)

1. A folding wheelchair, comprising:
a wheelchair frame;
a rear wheel assembly, wherein the rear wheel assembly is coupled to a rear end of the wheelchair frame; and
a front wheel assembly, wherein the front wheel assembly includes two front wheels that are removably disposed at a front end of the wheelchair frame, the front wheels including a front wheel unit and a front wheel support shaft, the front wheel unit being coupled to the front wheel support shaft, the front wheel support shaft being removably disposed at a lower end of the wheelchair frame.
2. The folding wheelchair as claimed in claim 1, wherein the front wheel support shaft of the front wheel is telescopically fitted to the wheelchair frame, and the distance between the front wheel assembly and the rear wheel assembly is adjusted by adjusting the telescopic length of the front wheel support shaft.
3. The foldable wheelchair as claimed in claim 2, wherein the front wheel support shaft comprises a telescopic sleeve shaft and a wheel shaft disposed at one end of the telescopic sleeve shaft, wherein the telescopic sleeve shaft is detachably sleeved in a front wheel shaft hole of the wheelchair frame, and the length of the front wheel extending outwards is adjusted by adjusting the telescopic length of the telescopic sleeve shaft in the front wheel shaft hole.
4. The folding wheelchair as claimed in claim 3, wherein the wheel axle is perpendicular to the telescopic sleeve shaft and is provided at one end of the telescopic sleeve shaft, the front wheel unit being coupled to the wheel axle of the front wheel support shaft.
5. The folding wheelchair as claimed in claim 4, wherein the front wheel unit is pivotably connected to the axle of the front wheel support shaft.
6. The folding wheelchair as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the wheelchair frame comprises a folding mechanism, frame brackets associated with the folding mechanism, and wherein the front and rear wheel assemblies are mounted to the frame brackets of the wheelchair frame, the frame brackets being located on either side of the folding mechanism.
7. The folding wheelchair as claimed in claim 6, wherein the frame includes two frame units, wherein the frame units are disposed outside the folding mechanism, wherein the frame units include a first support cross bar, a second support cross bar, at least one support longitudinal bar, and at least one fixed connecting member, wherein the fixed connecting member is disposed between the first support cross bar and the second support cross bar, and the support longitudinal bar is disposed at one end of the first support cross bar and the second support cross bar.
8. The folding wheelchair of claim 7 including a handle assembly, wherein the handle assembly is removably disposed to the frame bracket of the wheelchair frame.
9. The folding wheelchair of claim 8, wherein said handle assembly is telescopically disposed to said wheelchair frame, wherein said handle assembly is located at a forward end of said frame unit of said frame and extends forwardly from said frame unit.
10. The folding wheelchair of claim 9 wherein said handle assembly includes a two-handle arrangement, wherein said handle arrangement is removably and telescopically disposed to said second support crossbar of said frame unit.
11. The folding wheelchair as claimed in claim 10, wherein the handle means comprises a telescopic connector telescopically arranged to the second support crossbar of the rack unit and a handle body coupled to the telescopic connector.
12. The foldable wheelchair as claimed in claim 11, wherein the second support cross bar is provided with an adjustment hole, the telescopic link is provided with at least one locking hole at a position corresponding to the adjustment hole, and wherein the telescopic link is fixed to the locking hole of the telescopic link through the adjustment hole of the second support cross bar by a locking unit.
13. The foldable wheelchair as claimed in claim 12, wherein the adjusting hole of the second support cross bar is an elongated through hole, and the locking hole of the telescopic connector is a circular hole for fixing the locking unit.
14. The folding wheelchair as claimed in claim 12, wherein the second support cross bar is provided with at least one positioning hole, wherein the telescopic link is provided with a positioning groove at a position corresponding to the positioning hole, wherein the positioning hole controls the extension length of the handle assembly by a positioning unit.
15. The folding wheelchair as claimed in claim 11, wherein the telescopic connecting member comprises a telescopic member and a carrier member, wherein the carrier member is fixed to one end of the telescopic member, and the handle body is coupled to the carrier member of the telescopic connecting member.
16. The folding wheelchair of claim 11 including a footrest device coupled to the handle assembly, the footrest device being operatively coupled to the handle assembly to move the handle assembly when the footrest device is subjected to a resistance force to adjust a distance between a seat space of the wheelchair frame and a user's position.
17. The folding wheelchair as claimed in claim 16, wherein the footrest means includes a footrest plate and a footrest link, wherein the footrest plate is pivotably provided to the footrest link, the footrest link is detachably and telescopically provided to a lower end of the handle body, and a height of the footrest plate is adjusted by adjusting a telescopic length of the footrest link.
18. The folding wheelchair as claimed in claim 1, wherein the front wheel support shaft of the front wheel is telescopically fitted to the wheelchair frame, the distance between the front wheel assembly and the rear wheel assembly is adjusted by adjusting a telescopic length of the front wheel support shaft, wherein the front wheel support shaft comprises a telescopic sleeve shaft and a wheel shaft provided at one end of the telescopic sleeve shaft, wherein the telescopic sleeve shaft is detachably fitted to a front wheel shaft hole of the wheelchair frame, the length of the front wheel extending outward is adjusted by adjusting the telescopic length of the telescopic sleeve shaft within the front wheel shaft hole, wherein the wheel shaft is perpendicular to the telescopic sleeve shaft, and the wheel shaft is provided at one end of the telescopic sleeve shaft, the front wheel unit is coupled to the wheel shaft of the front wheel support shaft, wherein the front wheel unit is pivotably connected to the wheel shaft of the front wheel support shaft, wherein the wheelchair frame comprises a folding mechanism, a frame support coupled with the folding mechanism, wherein the front wheel assembly and the rear wheel assembly are disposed at the frame support of the wheelchair frame, the frame support is located at both sides of the folding mechanism, the frame support comprises two support units, wherein the support units are disposed at the outer side of the folding mechanism, wherein the support units comprise a first support cross bar, a second support cross bar, at least one support longitudinal bar, and at least one fixing connector, wherein the fixing connector is disposed between the first support cross bar and the second support cross bar, the support longitudinal bar is disposed at one end of the first support cross bar and the second support cross bar, the folding wheelchair comprises a handle assembly, wherein the handle assembly is detachably disposed at the frame support of the wheelchair frame, wherein the handle assembly is telescopically disposed at the wheelchair frame, wherein the handle assembly is located at a front end of the stand unit of the frame stand, and the handle assembly extends forward from the stand unit, wherein the handle assembly comprises two handle devices, wherein the handle devices are detachably and telescopically disposed at the second support rail of the stand unit, wherein the handle devices comprise a telescopic connector and a handle body, wherein the telescopic connector is telescopically disposed at the second support rail of the stand unit, the handle body is coupled to the telescopic connector, wherein the second support rail is provided with an adjustment hole, the telescopic connector is provided with at least one locking hole at a position corresponding to the adjustment hole, wherein the telescopic connector is fixed to the locking hole of the telescopic connector through the adjustment hole of the second support rail by a locking unit, wherein the adjusting hole of the second supporting cross bar is a long strip-shaped through hole, the locking hole of the telescopic connecting piece is a round hole for fixing the locking unit, the second supporting cross bar is provided with at least one positioning hole, the telescopic connecting piece is provided with a positioning groove at a position corresponding to the positioning hole, the positioning hole controls the extension length of the handle assembly through the positioning unit, the telescopic connecting piece comprises a telescopic piece and a bearing piece, the bearing piece is fixed at one end of the telescopic piece, the handle body is coupled to the bearing piece of the telescopic connecting piece, the folding wheelchair comprises a foot rest device, the foot rest device is coupled to the handle assembly and linked with the handle assembly, and when the foot rest device is under the action of resistance, the handle assembly can be driven to move, so as to adjust the distance between the seat space of the wheelchair frame and the position of the user, wherein the footrest device comprises a footrest and a footrest connecting rod, wherein the footrest is pivotally arranged at the footrest connecting rod, the footrest connecting rod is detachably and telescopically arranged at the lower end of the handle body, and the height of the footrest is adjusted by adjusting the telescopic length of the footrest connecting rod.
