Drawings
FIG. 1 illustrates one embodiment of a burn-in compliant socket according to the present disclosure;
fig. 2 illustrates another embodiment of a burn-in socket according to the present disclosure.
Detailed Description
The burn-in socket disclosed in the present invention will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments. Advantages and features of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description and claims. It is noted that the drawings are in greatly simplified form and that non-precision ratios are used for convenience and clarity only to aid in the description of the embodiments of the utility model.
A first variation of a burn-in compliant jack according to the present disclosure is described with reference to fig. 1. In this variant, the adaptable socket is implemented as a two-hole socket comprising a socket panel 1 and two jacks 2 arranged in the socket panel.
A receiving recess is provided in the receptacle panel 1 around the jack 2 to receive a plug. The receiving recess is preferably embodied as a circle, which is dimensioned sufficiently to receive the plug.
Two guide grooves 3 extending vertically are also provided in the receptacle panel 1 to guide the pins of the plug to slide therealong, the guide grooves 3 being aligned with the insertion holes 2, respectively, and extending to the receiving recess. The alignment of the guide groove 3 with the jack 2 means that the jack 2 is located on the extension of the guide groove 3 so that the plug can move along the guide groove 3 to the jack 2, or at least to the vicinity of the jack 2, when the plug is held by a human hand and the plugs are respectively placed in the guide grooves 3 and then naturally slide downward. The guide groove 3 extends vertically downwards to the accommodating concave part from the edge of the socket panel 1 or a certain distance away from the edge, so that the old can hold the plug and enable the plug pin of the plug to slide downwards along the guide groove 3, the plug pin is inserted into the jack 2 more accurately, and the operation is convenient.
The guide groove 3 may be implemented as a V-groove or a U-groove, and the bottom surface of the guide groove 3 is flush with the bottom surface of the accommodation recess. In other words, when the elderly hold the plug and slide the plug pin of the plug downward along the guide groove 3, the transition of the plug pin from the guide groove 3 to the accommodating recess does not generate a paragraph feeling, so that the whole sliding process is smooth. As the presence of the segments or height differences may result in a deflection of the direction of movement of the latch.
In the two-hole socket shown in fig. 1, the plug socket 2 is oriented substantially vertically, and accordingly, when the guide pins slide down the guide grooves 3, the corresponding pins are also oriented substantially vertically. Therefore, the guide groove 3 is preferably implemented as a V-groove to improve accuracy of sliding of the guide pin.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 1, only the guide groove 3 is provided above the receiving recess, it should be understood that the guide groove 3 may be provided below the receiving recess, so that the elderly may hold the plug and slide the plug pin of the plug up along the lower guide groove 3 until the plug pin is inserted into the jack 2, thereby facilitating the operation of the elderly. The above description about the guide groove 3 provided above the accommodation recess is also applicable to a modification in which the guide groove 3 is also provided below the accommodation recess, as long as no conflict arises.
In addition, a lamp ring 4 can be arranged around the jack 2 in the socket panel 1, so that the old people can be guided to complete the operation of plugging the socket by the aid of the light of the lamp ring 4 when the ambient light intensity is insufficient. The lamp ring 4 may be implemented as any light source known in the art, such as an LED or phosphorescent lamp.
A second variation of a burn-in compliant jack according to the present disclosure is described with reference to fig. 2. In this variant, the adaptable socket is implemented as a three-jack socket comprising a socket panel 1 and three jacks 2 arranged in the socket panel.
A receiving recess is provided in the receptacle panel 1 around the jack 2 to receive a plug. The receiving recess is preferably embodied as a circle, which is dimensioned sufficiently to receive the plug.
Three vertically extending guide grooves 3 are also provided in the receptacle panel 2 to guide the pins of the plug to slide therealong, the guide grooves 3 being aligned with the insertion holes 2, respectively, and extending to the accommodation recess.
In the three-jack socket shown in fig. 2, the intermediate jack 2 (ground wire) is oriented substantially vertically, and accordingly, when the intermediate plug is guided to slide down along the intermediate guide groove 3, the corresponding plug is also oriented substantially vertically; the two-sided jacks 2 (left zero line, right live line) are angularly oriented and, correspondingly, when the two-sided pins are guided to slide down the two-sided guide grooves 3, the corresponding pins are also substantially angularly oriented. Therefore, the middle guide groove 3 is preferably implemented as a V-groove, the both side guide grooves 3 are preferably implemented as a U-groove, and the bottom surface thereof is sized to just receive the both side pins to improve the accuracy of guiding the middle pin to slide.
In addition, the length over which the middle guide groove 3 extends may also be designed to be greater than the length over which the two side guide grooves 3 extend.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 2, only the guide groove 3 is provided above the accommodating recess, it should be understood that the guide groove 3 may also be provided below the accommodating recess, so that the elderly may hold the plug and slide the plug pin of the plug up along the lower guide groove 3 until the plug pin is inserted into the jack 2, facilitating the operation of the elderly. The above description about the guide groove 3 provided above the accommodation recess is also applicable to a modification in which the guide groove 3 is also provided below the accommodation recess, as long as no conflict arises.
In addition, a lamp ring 4 is further arranged in the socket panel 1 around the jack 2, so that the operation of plugging the socket can be more conveniently completed by means of the bright light guide of the lamp ring 4 when the light intensity is insufficient. The lamp ring 4 may be implemented as any light source known in the art, such as an LED or phosphorescent lamp.
The design of adapting to ageing sockets according to this disclosure utilizes the guide groove to help the old person use the socket more conveniently and accurately. The defect that related products in the market only provide basic functions and do not make design consideration for the operation process of a user is overcome.
