6. The exercise pedal of claim 5 wherein the first coupling portion includes at least one square projection and the second coupling portion includes the same number of square recesses as the first coupling portion.
7. An exercise pedal according to claim 5 wherein said first connecting portion is a circular protrusion disposed on said first pedal and said second connecting portion is a circular recess disposed on said first pedal.
8. An exercise pedal according to claim 5 wherein said first connecting portions are bar-shaped protrusions uniformly distributed on said first pedal and said second connecting portions are bar-shaped recesses uniformly distributed on said first pedal.
