Description

Connecting assembly, car light and vehicle
Technical Field
The utility model relates to a connecting assembly, a lamp and a vehicle.
Background
Assemblies comprising at least two components that need to be connected are known in the prior art. For the purpose of establishing the connection, separate connecting elements, such as screw elements, may be provided, for example, or a material-fit method, such as the provision of an additional adhesive medium, welding, etc., may be used. Of course, other connection means are possible.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a connection assembly which enables the connection of components to be connected to be achieved simply.
According to the utility model, this object is achieved in that the proposed connecting assembly has a first part and a second part which can be connected together in the assembly direction, the first part having a first base body and a latching hook projecting from the first base body, and the second part having a second base body, wherein the second base body is provided with a U-shaped cutout, by means of which a spring tab is formed in the second part, through the bottom of which the latching hook can be latched onto the spring tab.
In this embodiment, the first and second parts themselves provide the connecting means, i.e. the hooks and the spring strips, so that the connection of the relevant parts can be established without further external aids, i.e. without additional connecting means, connecting materials or connecting processes, by passing the hooks through the cutouts, which is advantageous for reducing the number of parts, shortening the assembly time, reducing the assembly difficulty, etc.
According to an embodiment of the utility model, the hook is a non-resilient conical hook. This applies in particular if a component in the connecting assembly is not deformable, for example due to the material itself, the construction or other reasons. The term "tapered hook" is to be understood as meaning a hook which, in cross section, tapers from its root towards its top. In such a tapered hook, the strength of the tapered hook can be ensured due to the increased material of the root portion.
According to an embodiment of the utility model, the catch is provided at the periphery of the first part. The catches may be provided at a plurality of locations around the periphery of the first component. Of course, the latching hook can also be arranged in other regions of the first part, if appropriate. Thus, the first part may for example function as a cover.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, the resilient piece is an L-shaped resilient piece, wherein the L-shaped resilient piece has a first section and a second section, one end of the first section is connected to the second base, the second section protrudes from the other end of the first section, and the hook and the second section protrude in the same direction with reference to the assembly direction. The protruding lengths of the second section of the L-shaped elastic sheet and the hook are set according to requirements. The proposed design makes it possible, for example, to minimize the influence of the connecting assembly on the space formed between the base bodies, compared to the case in which the latching hook and the second section project toward one another from the respective base bodies in the assembled state. Thus, for example, the base bodies of the respective parts can abut directly or their spacing can be small.
According to an embodiment of the utility model, the first section merges into the second section in a chamfered manner. This chamfered transition facilitates the hooking of the catch on the elastic tab.
According to an embodiment of the utility model, the second part has a concave receiving section. Thus, additional components can be additionally mounted in the receiving section of the second component.
According to another aspect of the present invention, a vehicle lamp is provided, which has the above-described connecting assembly.
Illustratively, the vehicle lights may be illumination/signal lights, e.g., headlights or tail lights, such as low beam, high beam, turn signal, fog light, position light, backup light, brake light, license plate light, retro-reflector, or other vehicle lights. In this case, the first component may be a lens of a respective vehicle lamp, for example a clear or tinted lens, and the second component may be a housing of the respective vehicle lamp. The respective parts can be composed of different materials, in particular the first part can be composed of polymethyl methacrylate and the second part of polycarbonate. Of course, other suitable materials may be used for the components.
According to another aspect of the present invention, a vehicle is proposed, which has the above-described connecting assembly or the above-described lamp.
Drawings
The utility model is further elucidated below with the aid of the drawing. Wherein the content of the first and second substances,
FIG. 1 shows an exploded view of an embodiment of a connection assembly according to the present invention;
fig. 2 shows a perspective view of the assembled connecting assembly in section; and
fig. 3 shows a partial enlarged view of region D of fig. 2.
Detailed Description
Embodiments of the present invention are exemplarily described below. As will be realized by those skilled in the art, the illustrated embodiments can be modified in various different ways, without departing from the spirit of the utility model. Accordingly, the drawings and description are to be regarded as illustrative in nature, and not as restrictive. In the following, the same reference numbers generally indicate functionally identical or similar elements.
Fig. 1 shows an exemplary exploded illustration of a connecting assembly 1 according to the utility model.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 1, the connection assembly 1 is a vehicle lamp. The connecting assembly 1 comprises a first part 2 and a second part 3, which can be connected together along an assembly direction M, wherein the first part 2 is a lens and the second part 3 is a housing.
The first component 2 has a first, substantially plate-shaped basic body 10 which covers at least a partial area of the second component 3 on one side of the second component 3. Both sides of the first substrate 10 may not be provided with any special structure, i.e., be planar, such as a flat surface, a curved surface or a combined surface; alternatively, as shown in fig. 1, a structuring process, for example an array of microstructures 15, is carried out on the side facing the second component 3. The array of microstructures 15 can be an array of protrusions and/or recesses to accomplish the light conditioning function.
The first part 2 has a hook 11 projecting from the first base 10. The position of the catch 11 can be set as desired. In the example shown, two hooks 11 are shown, which are arranged at the periphery of the first base body 10, but other numbers are also possible.
The hook 11 is tapered, i.e. the body 12 of the hook 11 tapers from its root connected to the first base 10 towards the tip 13. Such tapered hooks are non-resilient and may be used in particular in situations where elastic deformation of the hook is not desired, for example due to the nature of the material of which the first part 2 is made or related structural reasons.
In a not shown example, the latching hook 11 can also be designed to be elastic. Such exemplary hooks have straight arm hooks.
A partial region of the second base body 20 of the second component 3 can be concave, as can be seen in fig. 1 with a concave receiving section 26. Other components not shown in the drawings, such as a light source component, a detection component for detecting the external environment, and the like, can be accommodated in this accommodation section 26. The receiving section 26 can be closed by the first component 2.
The second base 20 is provided with a spring 21 cooperating with the hook 11 of the first part 2, i.e. the spring 21 can be hooked by the hook 11. For this purpose, the second base body 20 is provided with a U-shaped cutout 22, by means of which U-shaped cutout 22 a spring plate 21 is formed in the second part 3, the catch 11 being able to be hooked through the bottom of the U-shaped cutout 22 onto the spring plate 23. Both side portions of the U-shaped cut have a narrower width than the bottom portion of the U-shaped cut.
An L-shaped spring 21 is shown having a first section 23 and a second section 24, the first section 23 being connected at one end to the second base 20, the second section 24 protruding from the other end of the first section 23. With reference to the assembly direction M, the catch 11 and the second section 24 project in the same direction.
Preferably, the first section 23 transitions into the second section 24 in a chamfered manner. The transition between the first section 23 and the second section 24 can therefore run obliquely or in an arc. This is advantageous for guiding the process of establishing the snap connection.
The top 25 of the second section 24 may be concave. Of course, a linear top 25 is also possible, as long as the hook 11 can be hooked on.
The respective protruding lengths of the second section 24 of the resilient tab 21 and the catch 11 can be set as desired.
In the example not shown, the elastic sheet 21 formed by the U-shaped cut 22 is an elongated sheet.
In the assembled state, the surfaces of the catch 11 and the spring 21 facing each other are left free to compensate for possible manufacturing tolerances and to facilitate the connection of the relevant components. The arranged voids can be seen in fig. 3.
For the purpose of establishing the connection, the first component 2 can be brought directly into abutting contact with the second component 3 at predetermined points, for example, in fig. 1, the abutment webs 14 are shown. By this abutting contact, the hook 11 and the resilient piece 21, which are hooked together, are held in a pre-tensioned state to prevent unintentional release of the connecting assembly. Alternatively, other components, such as sealing components, may also be placed on the first and second components 2, 3.
When the components housed in the above-mentioned housing sections 26 are electrical components, the base body 20 of the second component 3 may be provided with openings 27 for the lines for connection with an external power source or controller.
If necessary, the base body 20 of the second component 3 can additionally be provided with positioning portions 28, for example positioning pins, positioning holes or the like, for positioning the second component 3 itself on a support, not shown.
When the connection assembly 1 is a vehicle lamp, the first and second components 2, 3 may be constructed of different materials. The first member 2 is composed of, for example, partial methyl methacrylate, which is a material having good weather resistance, colorability, light transmittance, processability, etc. The second component 3 is made of, for example, polycarbonate, which has good impact resistance, heat distortion resistance, and the like. Other suitable materials may also be selected for the components described above.
The vehicle light may be a lighting/signal light.
The first part 2 may also exemplarily be a retro-reflector, which returns the incident light in substantially the opposite direction of the incident light. Thus, the microstructure array 15 may be an array of cube-corner prisms, each of which is formed by three mutually perpendicular faces.
Besides being used for the car lamp, the connecting component with the hook and the elastic sheet can also be used for other devices needing to be connected.
The present invention is not limited to the above configuration, and various other modifications may be adopted. While the utility model has been described with respect to a limited number of embodiments, those skilled in the art, having benefit of this disclosure, will appreciate that other embodiments can be devised which do not depart from the scope of the utility model as disclosed herein. Accordingly, the scope of the utility model should be limited only by the attached claims.
