A cigarette sleeve component is characterized in that a cigarette sleeve main body and a fixing part are matched for use; one end of the cigarette sleeve main body is provided with a buckle with a bulge; the fixing part is internally provided with a slide way, and the slide way is provided with a limiting structure.

2. A sleeve assembly according to claim 1 wherein said sleeve body is a metal mesh sleeve.

3. A sleeve assembly as claimed in claim 1, wherein the number of said projections is from 1 to 3.

4. A sleeve assembly according to claim 3, wherein the number of runners is from 1 to 3.

5. A sleeve assembly according to claim 1, wherein the retaining formation is provided on one or both sides of the slideway.

6. A sleeve assembly as claimed in claim 1, wherein the number of said retaining formations is from 1 to 3.

7. A smoking article comprising a sleeve assembly according to any one of claims 1 to 6 and a mouthpiece.

8. The smoking article of claim 7, further comprising a thermal cap adapted to the sleeve body structure.

9. The smoking article of claim 8, wherein the thermal cap is made of a material selected from the group consisting of heat reflective material, porous material, and vacuum material.

10. A smoking article according to claim 9, wherein said heat reflective material is nickel, aluminum foil or metallised polyester; the porous material is a foam or fibrous material.
