In one example, when a rack server fails, an operation and maintenance person logs in through a dedicated network segment to check out an out-of-band log to locate the cause of the hardware failure, and this method needs to spend a certain time to locate the cause of the hardware failure, so that the failure cannot be processed in time.
Based on the above technical problem, the two-way rack server according to the present disclosure is provided, and the two-way rack server according to the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to fig. 1 to 5.
Fig. 1 schematically shows a schematic structural diagram of a two-way rack server according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 1, two rack servers are arranged on a rack, and the server includes a case 1, a motherboard 2, and a display 3, wherein the front of the case 1 is provided with a plurality of slots 11, the slots 11 are used for accommodating and installing a server hard disk, and in this embodiment, at least one slot is provided with a hard disk; a motherboard 2 is disposed in the chassis 1, and the motherboard 2 is configured to obtain running state data of server hardware, where the server hardware includes a hard disk, a memory, and a central processing unit (CPU for short). The operation state data may be, for example, data such as hard disk model information, hard disk operation state, memory use state, and CPU operation state.
The display 3 is arranged in the slot 11 of the case 1 and connected with the mainboard 2 through a data line so as to complete data interaction, and the display 3 is used for displaying the running state data of hardware. Preferably, in order to facilitate connection between the display and the motherboard, in this embodiment, the display may be disposed in a slot on the leftmost side of the chassis, the display setting position is not specifically limited, and the display setting position is adapted to the motherboard setting position.
The operation and maintenance personnel can directly check the display of the fault server according to the machine room fault indicator lamp, directly position the reason of the hardware fault according to the hardware running state data displayed by the display, and improve the timeliness of the hardware fault treatment of the server.
Fig. 2 schematically shows a schematic structural diagram of a display according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 2, display 3 is the cuboid, 3 size slightly less than slot 11 on the quick-witted case 1 of display, make display 3 can hold in above-mentioned slot, display 3 includes display screen 31, spout 32 and rotation axis 33, wherein spout 32 sets up in display screen 31 below, for the bottom surface of cuboid, make display 3 can slide on spout 32, display screen 31 sets up in the display side, display screen 31 is touch display screen, fortune dimension personnel can directly touch the screen with the finger, look over hardware status information. The rotation shaft 33 is disposed at a side away from the front of the cabinet such that the display 3 can rotate around the rotation shaft 33, thereby changing an angle between the display 3 and the cabinet 1, the rotation angle being 0-90 °.
Fig. 3 schematically illustrates an exploded view of a two-way rack server according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
As shown in fig. 3, the two rack servers further include a connecting member 4 for connecting the display 3 and the chassis 1 to prevent the display 3 from falling off from the rack servers. The case 1 is provided with a button 12, the button 12 is arranged above the slot where the display 3 is located, and is used for changing the relative position of the display 3 and the case 1, and when the button 12 is pressed, the display 3 can be ejected from the case 1.
