The embodiment of the application provides an electronic device assembly 100, and the electronic device assembly 100 may include an electronic device 10 and a protective case 20. Illustratively, the electronic device 10 may be an electronic product such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a smart watch, and the like. The embodiment of the present application takes the electronic device 10 as a mobile phone as an example for description.
Referring to fig. 2, the electronic device 10 may include a radio frequency circuit and a frame 11, wherein the radio frequency circuit is disposed inside the frame 11. It is understood that when the electronic device 10 is a mobile phone, the frame 11 may be a middle frame, and the middle frame may be made of metal or plastic.
Referring to fig. 1 and 4, the protective casing 20 is disposed outside the frame 11 of the electronic device 10 to protect the electronic device 10, and the protective casing 20 may include a casing 21 and an antenna 22 disposed on the casing 21. Illustratively, the antenna 22 is disposed on an inner wall of the housing 21. It can be understood that the protective case 20 firstly has a function of protecting the electronic device 10, and can perform functions of falling prevention, wear prevention, dust prevention, and the like, and in addition, on the basis that the protective case 20 has a protection function, by providing the antenna 22 on the casing 21 of the protective case 20, when the antenna 22 in the protective case 20 is electrically connected with the radio frequency circuit in the electronic device 10, the protective case 20 also has a function of enhancing the signal strength of the electronic device 10.
Illustratively, the protective case 20 may cover the back and sides of the electronic device 10, for example, when the electronic device 10 is a mobile phone, the protective case 20 may be in the shape of an existing mobile phone case.
The protective case 20 may also be frame-shaped and is sleeved around the frame 11.
The protective case 20 may also include one or more unconnected protective structures, for example, the protective case 20 may include four protective structures respectively disposed at the outer sides of the four corners of the mobile phone, and of course, the protective structures may also be disposed at positions between two adjacent corners of the mobile phone.
Referring to fig. 2, a through hole 115 may be disposed on the frame 11, a first connecting element 12 is disposed in the through hole 115, an end of the first connecting element 12 facing the outer side of the frame 11 is electrically connected to the antenna 22 on the protective casing 20, and an end of the first connecting element 12 facing the inner side of the frame 11 is electrically connected to the rf circuit. It can be understood that the first connecting element 12 is an important component for implementing antenna signal transmission between the electronic device 10 and the protective case 20, and in the embodiment of the present application, by disposing the first connecting element 12 in the through hole 115 on the frame 11, the electronic device 10 of the embodiment of the present application and an existing electronic device can be substantially the same in appearance, so that the aesthetic appearance of the product is not affected, and the requirement of signal amplification can be well satisfied. In addition, although the first connector 12 mainly functions to transmit antenna signals in the embodiment of the present application, it is understood that the first connector 12 may also serve as an interface for internal and external connections of the electronic device 10, that is, the first connector 12 may be connected to other external devices, so that the electronic device 10 has more functions.
It can be understood that, the embodiments of the present application, by using the radio frequency circuit disposed inside the electronic device 10 to process the signals received or transmitted by the antenna 22 on the protective casing 20, correspond to increasing the number of antennas of the electronic device 10, so as to improve the strength of the signals received or transmitted by the electronic device 10.

However, since various components are arranged in the electronic device and the internal space is very limited, other components need to be reduced without changing the size of the electronic device, which causes other functions of the electronic device to be affected, and if the size of the electronic device is increased, the production cost is increased and the size and the position of internal components need to be readjusted, which causes the overall manufacturing process to be complicated. According to the embodiment of the application, the antenna 22 is additionally arranged on the protective shell 20, so that on one hand, the size of the electronic device 10 does not need to be changed, on the other hand, the internal space of the electronic device 10 does not need to be occupied, and the situation that the function of the electronic device 10 is affected due to the fact that the antenna is additionally arranged inside the electronic device 10 is avoided. When using the electronic device 10 of the embodiment of the present application, a user may independently select whether to cover the protective shell 20 on the outer surface of the electronic device 10, and when the signal strength of the electronic device 10 is strong enough, the protective shell 20 may not be used, and when the signal strength of the electronic device 10 is weak, the protective shell 20 may be used as needed to enhance the signal strength of the electronic device 10, and meanwhile, the protective shell 20 is utilized to protect the electronic device 10, thereby preventing scratches or bruises.
Another existing method for improving the signal strength of an electronic device is to provide an antenna signal enhancement device on the electronic device (e.g., a mobile phone), where the antenna signal enhancement device is provided in a retractable form, and the antenna signal enhancement device can be pulled out from the electronic device when a signal needs to be enhanced.
Referring to fig. 3 and 4, the protective shell 20 may further include an antenna contact 23 disposed on the shell 21, the antenna 22 is electrically connected to the antenna contact 23, and the antenna contact 23 is in contact with the first connector 12 to electrically connect the antenna 22 and the first connector 12.
Referring to fig. 4, a concave structure 211 may be disposed on an inner wall of the housing 21, and the antenna 22 and the antenna contact 23 may be disposed in the concave structure 211. The recess structure 211 may be a through hole 115 or a groove, and it is understood that the through hole 115 may penetrate through both the inside and outside of the housing 21, and the groove is recessed from the inner surface to the outer surface of the housing 21 without penetrating therethrough. When the recess structure 211 is a groove, the appearance of the housing 21 is more beautiful.
The antenna 22 may be a PDS (Printing Direct Structuring) antenna, a FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) antenna, an LDS (Laser Direct Structuring) antenna, a two-color injection molded antenna, or the like. The material of the antenna contact 23 may include at least one of metals such as titanium copper alloy, stainless steel, phosphor bronze, and the like.
