Detailed Description
Various holding devices for holding an object to be held (e.g., a paper document such as a document, a map, or an electronic device, etc.) are known. Such a clip-on device may be mounted on a fixed support to display information to the user, thereby freeing the user's hands.
For example, such a clamping device may be used in a stick-pan type aircraft, which is mounted on a steering wheel and is used to clamp documents so that the pilot can view the documents during flight without affecting the handling of the aircraft. Such a clamping device can be roughly classified into two types, one is a combination of a single base plate and a clamping unit, and the other is a combination of a double base plate and a clamping unit. The combination of the single bottom plate and the clamping unit can not adjust the angle of the bottom plate, so that the situations of lower file clamping position and inconvenient use can occur to pilots with different heights in the use process. The combination of the double bottom plates and the clamping units mainly uses a boeing aircraft as a main part, the angle adjustment of the bottom plates can be realized in the use process, the angle adjustment amount is limited, only a plurality of fixed clamping positions are arranged, the corrugated spring sheets at the clamping positions are easy to damage, and the clamping stagnation phenomenon can occur after long-time use. There is thus room for optimization of the above-described clamping device.
In fig. 1, a clamping device 1 according to an embodiment of the utility model is shown. The holding device 1 comprises a carrier plate 2 and a base plate 3 which are connected rotatably relative to each other, as will be explained further below. The pallet 2 has a flat first surface 21 on which a gripping unit 4 for gripping the object to be gripped is provided. The gripping unit 4 may be, for example, a spring clip fixed on the blade, and by applying an external force to the spring clip, an object to be gripped (e.g., a sheet) may be placed in a space formed between the spring clip and the blade. The spring clamp holds the object to be clamped on the supporting plate without external force. Although only one clamping unit is shown in the figures, other numbers and types of clamping units provided on the pallet are equally feasible.
Fig. 2 to 4 each show different components of the clamping device 1. It can be seen that the pallet 2 is provided with a pair of lugs 23 on the side of the second surface 22 opposite the first surface 21, which lugs 23 each have a through hole 24; the base plate 3 is likewise provided with a pair of mating lugs 33 on a third surface 32 facing the pallet 2, which mating lugs each have a through hole 34. The distance between the inner sides of the lugs 23 facing each other is equal to the distance between the outer sides of the mating lugs 33 facing away from each other, or the distance between the outer sides of the lugs 23 facing away from each other is equal to the distance between the inner sides of the mating lugs 33 facing each other, so that in the assembled state the mating lugs 33 are between the lugs 23, or the lugs 23 are between the mating lugs 33, and the faces of the lugs 23 and the mating lugs 33 facing each other abut, whereby the pallet or the base plate is prevented from moving in the longitudinal direction of the perforation or through hole. The shaft 8 passes through the through hole and the through hole to mount the pallet 2 on the base plate 3. Preferably, the rotation axis 8 may extend parallel to the surface of the pallet 2. Thus, the shaft or the through hole defines the axis of rotation of the blade relative to the base plate.
The lugs 23 and mating lugs 33 may be integrally formed on the pallet and base plate or they may be formed separately and then later mounted on the pallet and base plate.
The clamping device 1 further comprises an actuating unit 6 arranged between the pallet 2 and the base plate 3 at a side remote from the axis of rotation 8, by operating the actuating unit 6, the angle of the pallet 2 relative to the base plate 3 can be changed. Herein, "away from the axis of rotation" is understood to mean "spaced from the axis of rotation in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis of the axis of rotation". The actuating unit 6 includes a rack gear 43 provided on one of the pallet 2 and the bottom plate 3, and a pinion gear 72 provided on the other of the pallet 2 and the bottom plate 3, the rack gear 43 and the pinion gear 72 being engaged with each other.
In the example shown, the toothed rack 43 is provided on the pallet 2. Specifically, a frame 40 is provided on the second surface 22 of the pallet, which may be mounted to the pallet, for example, by screws 42. The body 41 of the frame 40 is hollow, thereby forming the accommodating space 44 accommodating the gear 72. A row of teeth is formed on the inner side of the frame 40 in a direction perpendicular to the second surface 22, the teeth being arranged in a circular arc shape. Accordingly, the base plate 3 is provided with the support portion 50, and the gear 72 is provided at the support portion 50. Although the support portion installed at the outer circumferential side of the bottom plate 3 is illustrated in fig. 3, for example, by a screw passing through a hole 51 provided on the support portion 50, the support portion may also be installed on the third surface 32. Of course, the mounting positions of the reversing rack 43 and the gear 72 are also possible.
A knob 71 that rotates integrally with the gear 72 is provided on the side of the gear 72 facing the outside of the clamp device 1. A chuck 73 that rotates integrally with the gear 72 is provided on the side of the gear 72 toward the inside, i.e., the inside, of the clamping device 1, and is configured to be able to lock the positions of the rack 43 and the gear 72 in the use position when the rack 43 and the gear 72 are assembled together.
In the example shown, the chuck 73 is arranged on the spindle 70 coaxially with the gear 72 and the tap 71. The chuck, gear, knob and spindle may be separately, partially or fully integrally formed. For example, where the chuck, gear, knob and spindle are separate components, they may be assembled afterwards. In particular, the knob may be provided with a pattern on its outer circumference for easy manual adjustment. The lever shaft is rotatably received in the receiving hole 52 of the support portion 50 through the other end 74 opposite to the end where the knob is located. For this purpose, a bearing may be mounted at the other end 74, the inner and outer rings of which contact the rod shaft and the support portion, respectively.
For locking, the chuck 73 is formed with a plurality of recesses 75 on its surface facing the support 50, the support 50 being provided with retractable catches 62, wherein the catches 62 can engage in the recesses 75, i.e. in the unadjusted state the catches 62 project into the recesses 75, and in the adjusted state the catches 62 can exit from the recesses 75. Preferably, the recess 75 is spherical crown shaped and the catch 62 is a ball.
In the example shown, the support 50 has a second through hole 53 in the form of a threaded hole, in which second through hole 53 an accommodation 60 forming a locking unit is accommodated. The receptacle 60 is a cylindrical body 61 and has a blind hole 64, wherein the body 61 is threaded on its outer circumference. The ball is at the open side of the blind hole 64 and a spring 65 is arranged in the blind hole 64, the two ends of which spring act on the bottom side of the blind hole 64 and the ball, respectively. The spring is in particular a compression spring. The accommodating portion 60 is provided with an in-line recess 63 at a side thereof opposite to the opening side. Therefore, the receiving portion 60 can be fitted into the supporting portion 50 by inserting a tool into the recess 63 and screwing.
At the start of adjustment, the chuck 73 is rotated, the ball is pressed and retracts into the blind hole 64, and the spring is thereby compressed. As the chuck 73 rotates, the ball may exit the occupied pocket 60. As the chuck continues to rotate, the ball may again extend from recess 60 under the spring force of the spring to occupy the next adjacent recess. This process is cycled until the adjustment is complete. During this time, the movement of the ball is tactilely perceptible, which is advantageous for the adjustment. Furthermore, the spherical design is advantageous to reduce friction, thereby extending the life of the device.
The plurality of recesses 75 may be annularly provided in the circumferential direction of the chuck 73. Although individual recesses 75 are shown spaced apart from one another in the drawings, they may also be immediately adjacent to one another, i.e., there is no circumferential spacing between adjacent recesses, which may allow for finer adjustment.
The base plate 3 may also be provided with a third through hole 35 for mounting the base plate 3, for example on a mounting bracket. For this reason, it is only necessary to pass the screw through the third through hole and perform the screwing operation. The number of the third through holes 35 may be set as desired.
It is to be noted that the base plate 3 may also be a component of the device itself on which the above-mentioned clamping device 1 is mounted. For example, if the clamping device 1 is used in a pole-disc type aircraft, the base plate 3 may be the housing of the steering wheel.
Thus, if such a clamping device according to the utility model is mounted on the steering wheel of a stick-pan type aircraft, in use, the pilot can adjust the clamping device on the basis of his own height, so that a comfortable viewing angle can be obtained for him.
In the clamping device proposed according to the utility model, by operating the rotary handle of the actuating unit, a movement of the rack relative to the gear wheel is caused, whereby the carrier plate of the clamping device is rotated relative to the base plate in order to change the position of the carrier plate. The multi-angle adjustment of the supporting plate can be realized by arranging the rack with a plurality of teeth. The angle of the supporting plate can be adjusted and the supporting plate can be fixed at a corresponding angle by the aid of the retractable clamp relative to the recessed portion under the action of the spring. The locking unit of the clamping device according to the utility model is more durable than the known spring lamellae.
In using the clamping device according to the present invention, an object to be clamped, for example, a document, is first placed between the clamping unit and the pallet, and then the rotation handle is adjusted to move the rack relative to the gear so as to rotate the pallet to a desired position. The fixing mode of the clamping tool is reliable and the use is convenient.
Many modifications and variations of the present invention are possible in light of the above teachings, and may be apparent to those skilled in the art. The scope of the utility model is defined by the claims.
