It can also be applied to a side that is not equipped with (a normal direction right side) or a document crimping plate opening / closing device that opens and closes a document crimping plate that is not equipped with an automatic document feeder.

2 to 6, for example, the attachment member 2 includes a bottom plate 21 attached to the device body 11, both side plates 22 raised upward from both side end portions of the bottom plate 21, and one end portion of the bottom plate 21. It consists of a substantially rectangular rear plate 23 extending from the (rear end portion) in a direction orthogonal to the bottom plate 21 (including a substantially orthogonal direction).

As shown particularly in FIG. 6, the bottom plate 21 is formed in a substantially rectangular shape in plan view, and has a through hole 21a through which a screw or the like is inserted, and an attachment hole 21b through which the attachment button 24 (see FIG. 10) is inserted. And attached to the device main body 11 by the attachment button 24 or the like. The side plate 22 is provided with a shaft hole 25 through which the first hinge pin 15 is inserted, for example, via a bearing 15a with a rotation stopper. A bearing hole 26 through which the third hinge pin 17 is inserted is provided at a position forward of the shaft hole 25 of the side plate 22 and biased downward (downward). As shown in FIGS. 2 to 6 and 10, the third hinge pin 17 supports the first spring receiving member 71 in a rotatable manner. An adjustment hole 23 a is provided in a substantially central portion above the rear plate 23. On both sides of the adjustment hole 23 a of the rear plate 23, engagement holes 23 b that engage with a restriction plate 19 that is a restriction member that restricts the opening angle of the original cover 12 are provided. A mounting hole 23c for mounting the regulation plate 19 with screws or the like is provided above the rear plate 23. The restriction plate 19 is formed in a substantially rectangular flat plate that covers the upper side of the rear plate 23, and has an engagement portion 19a that engages with the engagement hole 23b and a recess portion 19b that exposes the adjustment hole 23a to the outside. Yes. Further, a backlash adjusting hole 23d having a screw groove is provided in a substantially central portion below the rear plate 23.

The support member 3 includes, for example, an upper plate 31 that is a top plate, and both side plates 32 that extend from both side ends of the upper plate 31 in a direction orthogonal to the upper plate 31 (including a direction that is substantially orthogonal). .

A shaft insertion hole 35 is provided at one end (rear end) of each side plate 32. The shaft insertion holes 35 and the shaft holes 25 of the both side plates 22 of the mounting member 2 are aligned with each other, and between these holes 35, 25, that is, between the side plate 32 of the support member 3 and the side plate 22 of the mounting member 2, for example. The bearing 15a is inserted into the hole 25 with the washer 15b interposed, and the first hinge pin 15 is inserted into the bearing hole, the hole 35, and the washer 15b, so that the support member 3 is connected to the mounting member 2 with the first hinge pin. 15 is pivotally connected about an axis.

Further, a second hinge pin hole 36 through which the second hinge pin 16 is inserted is provided at the other end portion (front end portion) of the both side plates 32. Further, on both side plates 32, for example, sliding contact portions 38 for rotating the lift member 4 with respect to the support member 3 are projected. These sliding contact portions 38 are in contact with the inner surface of the side plate 42 of the lift member 4 and provide a clearance between the outer surface of the side plate 32 of the support member 3 and the inner surface of the side plate 42 of the lift member 4. The lift member 4 is rotated favorably. A washer or the like may be provided between the support member 3 and the lift member 4 instead of the sliding contact portion.

Further, the mounting member 2 may be provided with a backlash preventing means 95 as shown in FIGS. The backlash prevention means 95 prevents backlash when the attachment member 2 is attached to the device main body 11, that is, backlash when the original cover 1 is attached to the device main body 11. As the backlash prevention means 95, for example, a backlash prevention plate 96 positioned between the mounting button 24 on the bottom plate 21 of the mounting member 2 and the rear plate 23, and a backlash adjusting screw for moving the backlash prevention plate 96. 97.

As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, 10, and 12, the rattle prevention plate 96 is, for example, a flat plate base portion 96 a that slides on the bottom plate 21 in surface contact with the bottom plate 21 of the mounting member 2. And an attachment piece 96c having a U-shaped attachment recess 96d opened at the top where the end portion on the rear plate 23 side of the plate base portion 96a is bent in a direction substantially orthogonal to which the backlash adjusting screw 97 is attached. Yes. A substantially U-shaped backlash prevention portion 96b is provided on the mounting button 24 side of the plate base portion 96a. The width of the concave portion of the backlash preventing portion 96b is smaller than the diameter of the head portion 24a of the mounting button 24 and larger than the diameter of the neck portion 24b. Both end portions of the backlash preventing portion 96b are formed such that the upper surface is gradually inclined toward the front end portion so as to be easily inserted between the mounting button 24 and the bottom plate 21.

As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, 10, and 13, the play adjusting screw 97 is formed in a circular bar shape, for example, and the outer surface thereof is a screw that is screwed into the play adjusting hole 23 d of the rear plate 23. A groove is provided to form a screw portion 97a. At the end on the bottom plate 21 side, which is one end of the backlash adjusting screw 97, an attachment portion 97b attached to the attachment recess 96d is provided. Further, for example, a hexagonal tool operation portion 97c for rotating the backlash adjusting screw 97 with respect to the rear plate 23 using a tool or the like is provided on the end face of the other end portion of the backlash adjusting screw 97. By rotating the backlash adjusting screw 97 with respect to the rear plate 23, the backlash prevention plate 96 slides in the longitudinal direction of the bottom plate 21, and both ends of the backlash prevention portion 96b are located between the mounting button 24 and the bottom plate 21. Insertion of the mounting member 2 (document pressure plate opening / closing device 1) is prevented.

Further, a scale 21c (see FIG. 6B) is formed by extending one side of the backlash prevention plate 96 to form a positioning piece 98 and providing a plurality of straight lines on the surface of the bottom plate 21 in the mounting member 2. .) May be provided to position the mounting member 2 (original pressure plate opening / closing device 1) with respect to the device main body 11 by the tip of the positioning piece 98 and the scale 21c. Thereby, the original cover 1 can be accurately positioned with respect to the device body 11.

The lift member 4 is used to stably press a thick original on the upper surface of the apparatus main body 11. The lift member 4 is, for example, an upper plate 41 having a substantially elongated rectangular flat plate shape, and both side plates 42 extending from both ends of the upper plate 41 in a direction orthogonal to the upper plate 41 (including directions substantially orthogonal). And is formed so as to cover the support member 3.

A second hinge pin bearing hole 46 is provided in the vicinity of one end portion (front end portion (end portion opposite to the mounting member 2)) of the side plates 42, and is below the second hinge pin bearing hole 46. A shaft support hole 47 through which the fourth hinge pin 18 is inserted is provided on the rear side (rear end side). The fourth hinge pin 18 is in the form of a pin in the embodiment, but is not limited to this, and although not shown, for example, a top plate of a lift member, or a pin fixed to the top plate and provided between both side plates It may be of a shape other than the shape. The second hinge pin bearing hole 46 and the second hinge pin hole 36 of the both side plates 32 of the support member 3 are aligned with each other, and the second hinge pin 16 is inserted into the holes 46, 36, whereby the lift member 4 and the support member 3. Are connected to each other about the second hinge pin 16 so as to be rotatable. At this time, a notch 16a is provided at one end of the second hinge pin 16, and the two second hinge pin bearings of the lift member 4 are fitted so that one end of the second hinge pin 16 including the notch 16a is fitted. By forming one second hinge pin bearing hole 46a of the hole 46 in a non-circular shape, the second hinge pin 16 is attached to the lift member 4 without rotating. Further, the fourth hinge pin 18 is inserted and attached to the shaft support hole 47 of the both side plates 42. At this time, a notch 18a is provided at one end of the fourth hinge pin 18, and the two shaft support holes 47 of the lift member 4 are fitted so that one end of the fourth hinge pin 18 including the notch 18a is fitted. The fourth hinge pin 18 is attached to the lift member 4 without rotating by forming the one shaft support hole 47a in a non-circular shape. The 4th hinge pin 18 supports the 2nd spring receiving member 61 so that rotation is possible.

Further, a horizontal position adjusting means 44 for adjusting the horizontal position of the original cover 12 may be provided in the vicinity of the rear end portion of the upper plate 41. The horizontal position adjusting means 44 is, for example, a screw portion 44a provided in the vicinity of the rear end portion of the upper plate 41 and in the central portion (including the substantially central portion) in the width direction, and screwed into the screw portion 44a. And a horizontal adjustment screw 44b. The tip of the horizontal adjustment screw 44b comes into contact with the upper plate 31 of the support member 3, and the distance between the support member 3 and the lift member 4 is adjusted by adjusting the horizontal adjustment screw 44b, so that the horizontal position of the original cover 12 is adjusted. It has come to be adjusted.

The elastic means 5 urges the document crimping plate 12 to rotate in the opening direction, urges the lift member 4 in the direction overlapping the support member 3, and when the document crimping plate 12 is below an arbitrary opening / closing angle. It is designed such that the elastic force for urging the pressure-bonding plate 12 is smaller than the rotational moment of the original pressure-bonding plate 12. In the present invention, the opening direction refers to a direction in which the original cover 12 is separated from the contact glass 13 on the upper part of the apparatus body 11 when the original cover 12 is rotated. In the present invention, the closing direction refers to a direction in which the original cover 12 approaches the contact glass 13 when the original cover 12 is rotated in a direction opposite to the opening direction. In the present invention, the rotation angle is an angle of the original cover 12 with respect to the surface of the contact glass 13 that is the upper surface of the device body 11.

The elastic means 5 includes elasticity changing means A that starts to work in a region where the rotational moment of the original pressure plate mainly exceeds the rotational torque created by the elastic means. As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, the elastic variation means A includes a mixed elastic means 51 formed by abutting two or more elastic members having different elasticity in series. This mixed elastic means 51 is formed by abutting two or more compression coil springs having different elasticity in series. For example, a first compression coil spring 52 having a small elasticity and a second compression coil spring 53 having a large elasticity are combined. It is made by matching in series.

Further, the elastic force varying means A may include a plurality of compression coil springs arranged in parallel. In this case, the mixed elastic means 51 is included in the plurality of parallel compression coil springs. That is, at least one of the plurality of compression coil springs arranged in parallel is the mixed elastic means 51. Further, the elastic force varying means A may be arranged such that a plurality of compression coil springs having different diameters are arranged on the same axis. In this case as well, the mixed elastic means 51 is included in the plurality of compression coil springs.

As the elastic means 5, for example, a large compression coil spring 54 having the largest wire diameter and coil diameter, and a concentric arrangement within the large compression coil spring 54, the wire diameter and coil diameter are greatly compressed. The middle compression coil spring 55, which is next to the coil spring 54, is disposed coaxially within the middle compression coil spring 55, has the smallest coil diameter, the smallest elasticity, and the smallest wire diameter. The compression elastic spring 51 is composed of a first compression coil spring 52 and a second compression coil spring 53 that has the next smallest elasticity and the second compression coil spring 53 that has the next smallest wire diameter. The elastic force of the elastic means 5 (the overall elastic force of the large compression coil spring 54, the medium compression coil spring 55 and the mixed elastic means 51) stops its rotation when the original cover 12 is opened more than a predetermined rotation angle. It is preferable that the original pressure plate 12 is set so as to have a resilience capable of exhibiting a so-called free stop function for stopping at that position.

Although it does not specifically limit in the butt | matching part of the 1st compression coil spring 52 and the 2nd compression coil spring 53 of the mixing elastic means 51, For example, you may use the 3rd spring receiving member 56. FIG. As shown in FIGS. 5 and 11, the third spring receiving member 56 has a shape in which the circumferential end portion on the first compression coil spring side of the annular plate base portion 56 a extends in a cylindrical shape in the axial direction. Is formed. It is preferable that the inner diameter of the cylindrical portion 56 b formed in the cylindrical shape of the third spring receiving member 56 is formed to be slightly larger than the diameter of the first compression coil spring 52. By interposing the third spring receiving member 56 between the first compression coil spring 52 and the second compression coil spring 53, the first compression coil spring 52 and the second compression coil spring 53 are abutted in series. Is possible.

In addition, the elastic fluctuation means A may reverse the arrangement positions of the first compression coil spring 52 and the second compression coil spring 53 in addition to the mixed elastic means 51. Further, the diameters of the first compression coil spring 52 and the second compression coil spring 53 are made different from each other, and one of the first compression coil spring 52 and the second compression coil spring 53 is accommodated in the other. Either of them may be omitted, and a damper device or an adjustment member that changes to the damper device may be used so that the compression coil spring starts to work at a predetermined opening / closing angle of the original cover.

The elastic means 5 is provided between the attachment member 2 and the lift member 4. The end of the elastic means 5 on the lift member 4 side is covered with a second spring receiving member 61 that is rotatably supported by the lift member 4. A first spring receiving member 71 is rotatably supported by the mounting member 2 and is slidably mounted on the second spring receiving member 61 at the end of the elastic means 5 on the mounting member 2 side. Is covered.

As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, the second spring receiving member 61 is formed in a shape in which a substantially central portion of an upper surface of a substantially rectangular bottomed cylindrical body is opened. Both side portions of the second spring receiving member 61 on the side of the bottom portion 61a are formed as rotating pieces 62 extending from the bottom portion 61a in a substantially triangular shape. The rotating piece 62 is provided with a fourth hinge pin insertion hole 63 into which the fourth hinge pin 18 is inserted, and the second spring receiving member 61 is rotatably supported by the lift member 4 via the fourth hinge pin 18. Has been. On the outer periphery of the fourth hinge pin 18 between the rotating piece 62 and the side plate 42 of the lift member 4, a cylindrical shape that maintains the distance between the side portion of the second spring receiving member 61 and the side plate 42 of the lift member 4. A spacer 68 is provided. In addition, a damper mounting hole 64 is provided at a substantially central portion of the bottom 61 a of the second spring receiving member 61. In addition, U-shaped notches 65 that allow the first spring support member 71 to rotate are provided on both sides of the second spring support member 61.

As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5 and 10, the first spring receiving member 71 is slidably received by the second spring receiving member 61 in a state where the opening is positioned in the second spring receiving member 61. It is formed in a bottomed cylindrical shape that can be mounted. The outer shape of the first spring receiving member 71 is formed in a substantially rectangular shape. The inner shape of the first spring receiving member 71 is formed in a shape that can be accommodated by the large compression coil spring 54, for example, a circular shape having a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the large compression coil spring 54. Hinge pin engaging portions 72 with which the third hinge pin 17 engages are respectively provided on both sides of the bottom portion 71a of the first spring receiving member 71, and the first spring receiving member 71 is attached via the third hinge pin 17. The member 2 is rotatably supported. The third hinge pin 17 is provided on both end surfaces of the columnar base portion 17a, and the first pin portion 17b inserted into the bearing hole 26 of the mounting member 2 and the second pin portion 17c engaged with the hinge pin engaging portion 72 are provided. Have.

A slit-shaped guide groove 73 is provided between the hinge pin engaging portion 72 and the bottom portion 71a. When the hinge pin engaging portion 72 is engaged with the third hinge pin 17, the first spring receiving member 71 is provided. The engagement can be easily performed from the bottom 71a side. The width of the guide groove 73 on the hinge pin engaging portion 72 side is gradually narrowed, and the third hinge pin 17 engaged with the hinge pin engaging portion 72 is difficult to separate from the hinge pin engaging portion 72 into the guide groove 73. ing. In addition, a mounting hole 74 that penetrates the bottom 71 a is provided at a substantially central portion of the bottom 71 a of the first spring receiving member 71. The mounting hole 74 is provided at a position facing the adjustment hole 23a in the closed state. Further, in the vicinity of the mounting hole 74 of the bottom portion 71a in the first spring receiving member 71, two concave engaging portions 75 are provided in the circumferential direction at intervals of 180 °, for example. The closed state is a state in which the upper surface of the apparatus body 11 is closed by the original pressure plate 12 (a state where the original pressure plate 12 is in close contact with the contact glass 13). The open state is a state where the original cover 12 is opened to the maximum and the upper surface of the apparatus body is open.

When the second spring receiving member 61 and the first spring receiving member 71 are in the closed state, substantially the entire first spring receiving member 71 is accommodated in the second spring receiving member 61 and in the open state. Approximately half of the first spring receiving member 71 is formed so as to be housed in the second spring receiving member 61. The elastic means 5 is accommodated in the second spring receiving member 61 and the first spring receiving member 71. That is, one end of the elastic means 5 is in contact with the bottom 61a in the second spring receiving member 61, and the other end of the elastic means 5 is in contact with the bottom 71a in the first spring receiving member 71, The fourth hinge pin 18 is pressed by the elastic force of the elastic means 5 (the large compression coil spring 54, the medium compression coil spring 55, and the mixed elastic means 51) to urge the support member 3 and the lift member 4 so as to overlap with each other and the document. The pressure plate 12 is urged to rotate in the opening direction.

A damper device 8 may be provided in the mixing elastic means 51. The damper device 8 is configured such that when the original cover 12 is rotated in the closing direction, the original cover 12 only at a specific rotation angle or less (eg, approximately 10 ° or less) below an arbitrary rotation angle of the original cover 12. 12 operates so as to reduce the rotational speed.

The damper device 8 is, for example, an oil damper device. The damper device 8 is not particularly limited as long as it can reduce the opening / closing speed of the original cover 12 only below a specific angle of the original cover 12 (for example, around 10 ° or less). The damper device 8 includes, for example, a cylinder 81 filled with oil such as silicon oil, and a piston that is movably provided in the cylinder 81 and is urged so that an exposed length exposed from the cylinder 81 is increased. Rod 82. For example, the damper device 8 is attached to the damper attachment hole 64 at the bottom of the second spring receiving member 61 so as to extend in the mixing elastic means 51 in the axial direction thereof.

In addition, the bottom 71a in the first spring receiving member 71 may be provided with the elasticity adjusting means 9 for adjusting the elasticity of the elastic means 5 (large compression coil spring 54, medium compression coil spring 55, mixed elastic means 51). . The elasticity adjusting means 9 may adjust all the elasticity of the large compression coil spring 54, the medium compression coil spring 55 and the mixed elastic means 51 at once, or may be adjusted individually, or any two springs. You may make it adjust the elasticity of. As the elastic force adjusting means 9, for example, the elastic force of the intermediate compression coil spring 55 and the mixed elastic means 51 is adjusted, and an operation member 91 mounted in the mounting hole 74 of the first spring receiving member 71, An adjustment member 92 that is screwed and engaged with the bottom 71a, and a positioning plate 93 that positions the operation member 91 are provided. The elasticity adjusting means 9 can be used as a damper adjusting means for adjusting the operating angle of the damper device 8 simultaneously or independently.

As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, 8, and 10, the operation member 91 is, for example, a circular rod, and is inserted into the mounting hole 74 of the first spring receiving member 71. 91a, a screwing portion 91b having a diameter larger than that of the insertion portion 91a and having a screwing groove formed on the outer peripheral surface, and a tip end portion 91c having the largest diameter while contacting the piston rod 82 of the damper device 8 Are formed in three stages. In the vicinity of the threaded portion 91b on the outer periphery of the insertion portion 91a, for example, four removal prevention portions 91d for preventing the positioning plate 93 from coming off are provided in the circumferential direction. Further, for example, a hexagonal operation portion 91e for rotating the operation member 91 with a tool or the like is provided on the end surface of the insertion portion 91a.

As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, 9, and 10, the adjusting member 92 has, for example, an inner surface provided with a screwing groove that is screwed with the screwing portion 91 b of the operation member 91, and an outer diameter. Is formed in an annular shape having a size larger than the outer diameter of the middle compression coil spring 55 and smaller than the inner diameter of the large compression coil spring 54, and is screwed into the screwing portion 91b. Two engaging protrusions 92 a that respectively engage with the engaging portions 75 of the first spring receiving member 71 are provided on the peripheral end portion of the end surface of the adjusting member 92 on the insertion portion 91 a side.

The positioning plate 93 is formed in a shape in which a circular hole is provided in the center of a substantially oval plate. The diameter of the circular hole is smaller than the diameter of the screwing portion 91b while the insertion portion 91a of the operation member 91 can be inserted. The insertion portion 91a is inserted into the mounting hole 74 of the first spring receiving member 71 in a state where the positioning plate 93 is mounted on the threaded portion 91b side of the outer periphery of the insertion portion 91a of the operation member 91. An operation member 91 is attached to the main body. At this time, the adjustment member 92 is screwed into the screwing portion 91b of the operation member 91, and the engagement protrusion 92a of the adjustment member 92 is engaged with the engagement portion 75 of the first spring receiving member 71. Since the end portions of the intermediate compression coil spring 55 and the mixing elastic means 51 are in contact with the adjusting member 92 and the positioning plate 93 is in contact with the bottom portion 71a in the first spring receiving member 71, the operation member 91 is moved to the first position. By rotating with respect to the spring receiving member 71, the adjusting member 92 moves with respect to the operating member 91 in the longitudinal direction of the operating member 91, that is, the axial direction of the spring, and the elasticity of the intermediate compression coil spring 55 and the mixing elastic means 51 is increased. It has come to be adjusted.

FIG. 14 is a graph showing the correlation between the rotation moment curve of the document crimping plate and the torque curve of the document crimping plate opening / closing device. The rotation moment curve of the document crimping plate and the torque curve of the document crimping plate opening / closing device are It intersects at a predetermined opening angle (around 12 ° in the embodiment), and when the opening angle exceeds the predetermined opening angle, the rotational torque of the document pressing plate opening / closing device changes in a state exceeding the rotational moment of the document pressing plate, and the predetermined opening angle In the following, it is configured such that the rotational moment of the original cover is higher than the rotational torque of the original cover opening / closing device. As a result, the original crimping plate can be opened without feeling its original weight when opened, and the original crimping plate can be stopped at a free stop at an intermediate opening angle. The crimping plate does not drop rapidly and can prevent the floating phenomenon at the time of closing. The document crimping plate opening / closing apparatus according to the present invention can increase the rotational torque of the document crimping plate at a middle opening angle of the document crimping plate in the same manner as a conventionally known one. It can be seen that when the opening angle is equal to or less than the opening angle, the mixing elastic means can prevent the rotational torque of the original cover from being rapidly attenuated.

Next, the function and effect of the original cover 1 and the office machine 10 according to the present invention will be described. When the bottom plate 21 of the attachment member 2 of the document crimping plate opening / closing device 1 is engaged with the attachment button 24 attached to the upper surface of the rear portion of the apparatus body 11 as described above, the bottom plate 21 and the head 24a of the attachment button 24 are When the play adjusting screw 97 is rotated, the inclined tip of the play preventing plate 96 is inserted between the upper surface of the bottom plate 21 and the head 24a of the mounting button 24, thereby eliminating the play. become.

Next, the document pressing plate 12 is in close contact with the contact glass 13 of the device main body 11 as shown in FIG. In order to place a document on the contact glass 13, first, a grip portion provided at the end of the document crimping plate 12 on the side opposite to the portion where the lift member 4 is attached or the vicinity thereof is provided. Then, the original cover 12 is lifted upward. That is, the original cover 12 is rotated only about the first hinge pin 15 to expose the surface of the contact glass 13 to the outside. Thus, when the original cover 12 is rotated, the original cover 12 is rotationally biased in the opening direction by the elasticity of the elastic means 5 (large compression coil spring 54, medium compression coil spring 55, mixed elastic means 51). Therefore, it can rotate in the opening direction without feeling weight. When the original cover 12 is opened to a certain extent (more than a predetermined rotation angle) and stops rotating, the original cover 12 stops at that position by the free stop function. That is, the original cover 12 can be stopped at that position without opening the original cover 12 to the maximum.

Thus, when the original cover 12 is opened, the elastic means 5 includes the mixed elastic means 51 in which the first compression coil spring 52 and the second compression coil spring 53 are abutted in series. Since the elasticity of the large second compression coil spring 53 acts and then the elasticity of the first compression coil spring 52 whose elasticity is smaller than that of the second compression coil spring 53 acts, the free stop function can be sufficiently exhibited. That is, when the original cover 12 is opened, a large force is required to lift the original cover 12 first, and as the original cover 12 is opened, the load of the original cover 12 on the hinge pin gradually increases. The original pressing plate 12 can be opened with a force smaller than that at the beginning to open the original pressing plate 12. For this reason, when an elastic compression coil spring that can be opened without feeling the original weight when the original document crimping plate 12 in the closed state is first lifted is used as the document crimping plate 12 is opened. Since the force for lifting the original cover 12 is weak, so-called jumping occurs in which the original cover 12 is further rotated in the opening direction by the elasticity of the compression coil spring without causing a free stop even if the rotation of the original cover 12 is stopped. It can happen. Therefore, when the elastic means 5 includes the mixed elastic means 51, the elastic force of the second compression coil spring 53 having a large elasticity acts first, and then the first compression coil spring having a smaller elasticity than the second compression coil spring 53. Since the elastic force of 52 acts, the original cover 12 can be stopped at that position without causing any jumping. Therefore, by appropriately selecting the elasticity and length of the first compression coil spring 52 and the second compression coil spring 53, an appropriate free stop function can be exhibited according to the office equipment 10. Further, since the original cover 12 rotates smoothly without applying a brake, the operation feeling during the opening operation is good.

After placing the document on the exposed contact glass 13 surface, the lifted document pressing plate 12 is lowered. That is, the original cover 12 is rotated from the open state to the close direction by rotating the first hinge pin 15 about the shaft to be closed (closed). As described above, when the original cover 12 is rotated, in the mixed elastic means 51, the first compression coil spring 52 having a small elastic force first contracts against the elastic force, and then the second compression coil spring 53 receives the elastic force. Since it shrinks against this, the original cover 12 does not collide with the contact glass 13 vigorously. That is, for example, when the rotation angle of the original cover 12 is approximately 20 ° or less, the force of the original cover 12 that rotates downward due to the weight of the original cover 12 is applied to the compression coil springs 52, 53, 54, and 55. Since it becomes stronger than the elasticity, the original cover 12 is automatically closed without applying any downward force. At this time, the first compression coil spring 52 is first contracted, and then the second compression coil spring 53 having a larger elasticity than the first compression coil spring 52 is contracted, so that the original pressure plate 12 collides with the contact glass 13 vigorously. Disappears.

When the rotation angle of the original cover 12 is a specific rotation angle, for example, approximately 10 °, the tip of the piston rod 82 of the damper device 8 comes into contact with the tip 91c of the operation member 91, and the piston rod 82 Moving to 81, the exposed length of the piston rod 82 is shortened, and the rotation speed of the original cover 12 is reduced. As a result, since the rotational speed of the original cover 12 is controlled by the damper device 8, the original cover 12 does not collide with the contact glass 13 more vigorously. The operation member 91 may be provided so as to be movable in the axial direction of the compression coil spring with respect to the first spring receiving member 71. In this way, the position where the damper device 8 acts can be adjusted.

When the original cover 12 is closed, if the original is thin paper, the original can be securely brought into close contact with the contact glass 13 without being lifted from the contact glass 13 by the original cover 12. It can be copied. That is, the original pressing plate 12 is brought into close contact with the contact glass 13 so that light does not enter between the original pressing plate 12 and the contact glass 13, and the original can be copied well.

Further, when the original is thick like a book, when the original cover 12 is closed, a part of the original cover 12 near the support member 3 comes into contact with the end of the original support member 3 or in the vicinity thereof. Thus, a space is formed between the end of the document opposite to the end on the support member 3 side and the document crimping plate 12. That is, the original cover 12 at the end on the gripping portion side is in a floating state. For example, the vicinity of the gripping portion side end of the manuscript pressing plate 12 that is floating is pressed against the contact glass 13 side or the weight of the manuscript pressing plate 12 against the elasticity of the compression coil springs 52, 53, 54, 55. The original cover 12 (lift member 4) rotates about the second hinge pin 16 as an axis. That is, the original cover 12 moves so as to cover the upper part of the original. For example, when the upper part of the original is a flat surface, the original cover 12 is in surface contact with the upper part. As a result, a thick original is stably brought into close contact with the contact glass 13. Therefore, the original cover 12 can stably press the original to the contact glass 13 regardless of the thickness of the original, and can copy the original satisfactorily.

Therefore, the document crimping plate opening / closing device 1 and the office equipment 10 according to the present invention can open the document crimping plate 12 without feeling the original weight, and also have a free stop function with a simple configuration that does not increase the manufacturing cost. Demonstrates reliably and has a good operation feeling.

Moreover, the free stop function can be more reliably exhibited by providing the elasticity adjusting means 9. That is, by rotating the operation member 91 with respect to the first spring receiving member 71, the adjustment member 92 moves in the axial direction of the spring with respect to the operation member 91. Since the elasticity of the can be adjusted, the free stop function can be exhibited more reliably. Further, since the tool can be inserted into the adjustment hole of the rear plate 23 of the attachment member 2 and the operation member 91 can be rotated by this tool, the elasticity of the elastic means 5 can be easily applied even after the original cover 1 is attached. It can be adjusted, even with easily adjustable to exert the free stop function in the assembled, Ru can easily maintenance and the like.

Than the present invention as described is provided between the bottom plate and the mounting button attached member, since there is provided a backlash adjusting means for preventing backlash of the bottom plate, that the opening and closing operation of the original cover more smoothly can RuHara draft cover closer, and is suitably used as office equipment using the original cover switchgear.
