a ram (10) adapted to abut an upper end face of the workpiece (17) in an operating condition and to apply a vertically downward pressure to the workpiece (17);
when the clamping jaw (3) is in a clamping state, the clamping jaw is abutted against the workpiece (17); the clamping jaw (3) is disconnected from the workpiece (17) when in a fine adjustment state or a loosening state.
2. Press-fit mechanism of the pressure monitoring and guiding type according to claim 1, characterised in that said drive unit comprises a horizontal drive unit (19) adapted to move said actuating unit (18) in a horizontal direction; and
a vertical drive unit (20) adapted to move the execution unit (18) in a vertical direction.
