Description

Fastener tape assembly and diaper including the same
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of personal hygiene articles, in particular to a fastening tape assembly for a diaper and a diaper comprising a fastening tape assembly.
Background
This section provides background information related to the present invention, and such information does not necessarily constitute prior art to the present invention.
The fastener tape assembly may be used in disposable articles, particularly disposable diapers, for rolling and adhesively securing the used diaper together for disposal. For example, infants often use training pants or pant-type diapers during potty training.
Pant diapers may also be used in the adult incontinence market. Pant diapers are generally thinner than diapers, and pant diapers are designed to include certain features of both the diaper and the undergarment. Pant diapers may be disposable and discarded, or they may be reused, but require cleaning between uses. Fastening tape assemblies in the form of tape assemblies are commonly used to hold used diapers in a "rolled up" form for disposal or disposal. Specifically, the tape assembly does not affect the normal use of the normal diaper product when the diaper product is worn, and it is desirable that the tape assembly is as small as possible, and when the used diaper is wound up by the tape assembly after the diaper product is used, it is desirable that the tape assembly is long enough, and for this reason, a folding tape assembly is disposed on the diaper product, and when the diaper product is normally used, the folding tape assembly is folded together, and when the diaper product is discarded, the folding tape assembly is unfolded so as to conveniently wind up the rolled-up diaper product.
Although the tape assembly for a disposable diaper of the related art is satisfactory in many respects, a phenomenon in which the tape assembly is easily separated from the diaper occurs during disposal, particularly in the case where the tape assembly is formed as a folded tape assembly.
As explained in connection with fig. 3, the folding tape assembly 1 includes a top tape layer 2, a bottom tape layer 3 for attachment to a diaper, and an intermediate tape layer 4 located between the top tape layer 2 and the bottom tape layer 3, wherein the intermediate tape layer 4 includes a folded edge 4a and is bonded to the top tape layer 2 by the folded edge 4a, and a large amount of adhesive (an adhesive portion of the top tape layer and an adhesive portion of the intermediate tape layer) is present in a bonding area at a folded portion where a flash is easily generated, without undesirably bonding the intermediate tape layer 4 and the bottom tape layer 3 together at the folded portion, which increases a peel strength of the intermediate tape layer from the bottom tape layer when the tape assembly is used.
Specifically, when the folding tape assembly is used, the bottom tape layer 3 is attached to the diaper and the top tape layer 2 is lifted to unfold the folded portion, so that the top tape layer 2 is peeled off from the middle tape layer 4 and the middle tape layer 4 is peeled off from the bottom tape layer 3, however, since the adhesive peel strength of the middle tape layer 4 and the bottom tape layer 3 at the folded portion is large, the bottom tape layer 3 may be lifted together with the middle tape layer 4 to be detached from the diaper, and the entire tape assembly may be detached from the diaper, particularly in the case where the attachment strength of the bottom tape layer to the diaper is not high due to the material of the diaper, the tape assembly is more easily detached from the diaper.

Fig. 3 is a schematic sectional view showing a related art fastening tape assembly.
Detailed Description
The following description of the preferred embodiment(s) is merely exemplary in nature and is in no way intended to limit the utility model, its application, or uses.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic cross-sectional view illustrating a fastener strip assembly employing an embodiment according to the present invention. In fig. 1, there is shown a fastening tape assembly 10 in a folded form comprising: a fastening component 20 as a top layer; a bonding means 30 as a bottom layer for securing to a diaper or substrate; the intermediate part 40, the fastening part, the intermediate part and the joining part are stacked in this order and the intermediate part 40 comprises a first folded edge 41, wherein the fastening part 20 comprises a first surface 23 facing the intermediate part and the first folded edge 41 comprises a free leg 41a joined to the first surface 23. Wherein in a first bonding area where the first surface 23 is bonded to the free leg portion 41a of the first folded edge 41, an adhesive free area is provided on the first surface 23 of the fastening part 20 to form a first reduced adhesive area NA. Although the first adhesive reduced area NA is shown as being formed as an adhesive free area on the first surface of the fastening part 20 facing the intermediate part, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that an adhesive free area may also be provided on the free leg 41a of the intermediate part 40 to form this first adhesive reduced area NA. Furthermore, it is also possible to provide adhesive-free regions on both the first surface 23 of the fastening component 20 and on the free leg 41a of the intermediate component 40 to form this first reduced adhesive area NA.
The folded fastener tape assembly 10 is unfolded for secure retention of an article, such as a diaper, in use by first securing the engaging component 30 to the article, for example by an adhesive or mechanical fastener, then lifting the fastener component 20 such that the fastener component 20 peels away from the intermediate component 40, the intermediate component 40 peels away from the engaging component 30 and unfolds, and finally securing the free edge of the fastener component 20 to the article by means of an adhesive or mechanical fastener to retain the article, such as a diaper, in a "rolled up" form for disposal or disposal.
By providing an adhesive reducing area in the bonding area at the folding position of the fastening tape assembly to avoid a flash phenomenon (which causes, for example, the intermediate member 40 and the bonding member 30 to be bonded together, which increases the peel strength with which the intermediate member 40 peels from the bonding member 30), the blocking peel strength of the fastening tape assembly is reduced to prevent it from being detached from the article. Also, the thickness of the folded portion of the fastening tape assembly may be reduced by providing the adhesive reducing region to reduce the process pressure effect.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 1, the fastening member 20 further includes a first free edge 21 as a user-lifted end and a second edge 22 opposite to the first free edge, wherein the first surface 23 is joined to the free leg 41a of the first folded edge 41 at the second edge 22 to form a joined region. In an advantageous aspect according to an embodiment, an adhesive free area is provided on the first surface 23 of the fastening component 20 to form a first adhesive reduced area NA, and an adhesive area a may also be provided on the first surface 23, the width of the adhesive free area forming the first adhesive reduced area NA being 3mm to 7mm and the width of the adhesive area a being 40mm to 55mm in the direction of the width w of the fastening component 20 from the first free edge 21 to the second edge 22.
According to a second embodiment of the utility model, see fig. 2, the intermediate part 40 further comprises a third edge 42 opposite the first folded edge 41, the joining member 30 comprises a second folded edge 31 joined to the third edge 42 of the intermediate part 40, the second folded edge 31 having a free leg 31a, the fastening member, the intermediate part and the joining member being in the form of a Z-folded assembly by the joining of the first folded edge 41 of the intermediate part 40 to the second edge 22 of the fastening member and the joining of the second folded edge 31 of the joining member 30 to the third edge 42 of the intermediate part.
In particular, the joining component 30 is joined at the free leg 31a of its second folded edge 31 to the third edge 42 of the intermediate component 40 to form a second joining zone in which an adhesive-free zone is provided on the free leg 31a to form a second reduced adhesive zone NA'. It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that an adhesive free area may also be provided in the second bonding area, on the third edge 42 of the intermediate member 40, to form a second reduced adhesive area NA'. Furthermore, adhesive areas may also be provided in this second bonding area, on both the free leg 31a and on the third edge 42, to form a second adhesive-reduced area NA'. This may avoid glue flash at this folding location (the second folded edge 31 of the bonding member 30) which could lead to potential bonding of the fastening member 20 to the intermediate member 40, which increases the peel strength of the fastening member 20 from the intermediate member 40, reduces the bond peel strength of the fastening tape assembly, and thus reduces the risk of the fastening tape assembly detaching from the article.
The fastening part 20, the intermediate part 40 and the coupling part 30 of the above-described fastener tape assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention may each be a single-coated tape including a cast polypropylene film layer and a styrene-isoprene system pressure-sensitive adhesive layer coated on the cast polypropylene film layer. In other aspects according to embodiments, the fastening member, the intermediate member, and the coupling member may also have other suitable shapes such as a strip, a sheet, and the like.
The utility model also provides an article comprising the above described fastener tape assembly, which article may be a diaper, in particular a pant diaper, which may comprise a spunbond nonwoven layer or a through-air nonwoven layer, to which the bonding means of the fastener tape assembly may be secured.
Although various aspects of embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail herein, it is to be understood that this invention is not limited to the particular embodiments described and illustrated in detail herein, and that other modifications and variations may be effected by one skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the utility model, all of which are within the scope of the utility model. Moreover, all the components described herein may be replaced by other technically equivalent components.
