5. The baffle plate assembly for an air oven of claim 1, wherein said first plate is provided with a notch, an edge of said notch being disposed proximate a bottom edge of said second plate.
6. The baffle plate assembly for an air oven of claim 1, wherein the vertical second plate forms a T-like shape with the first plate.
7. The baffle plate assembly for an air oven of claim 1, wherein said second plate has a front edge, said front edge of said second plate being provided with a guard plate, said guard plate being perpendicular to said second plate.

An air oven comprising a housing having a heating cavity and at least one baffle assembly for an air oven as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 7, said heating cavity having a top wall wherein said top wall is provided with a mating portion for mating engagement with a top edge of said second plate.
9. The air oven of claim 8, wherein said mating portion is provided with a chute, and a top edge of said second plate is in sliding mating connection with said chute.
10. The air oven of claim 8 wherein the heating chamber further has a rear sidewall, the rear sidewall having a retaining groove for retaining, the second plate having a rear edge with a central portion of the rear edge projecting rearwardly to form a retaining plate, the retaining plate being capable of engaging the retaining groove.
