The pet cage of claim 2, wherein: the locking mechanism further comprises a second elastic piece used for providing acting force required by the operation piece rotating from the second position to the first position, the second elastic piece is a pressure spring, the pressure spring extends along the circumferential direction of the operation piece, one end of the pressure spring abuts against the operation piece, and the other end of the pressure spring abuts against the first side frame.
