Detailed Description
In order that the utility model may be more fully understood, reference is now made to the following examples. The examples set forth preferred embodiments of the utility model. This invention may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete.
It will be understood that when an element is referred to as being "connected" to another element, it can be directly connected to the other element or intervening elements may also be present, unless the context clearly dictates otherwise.
It should be noted that when an element is referred to as being "secured" to another element, it may or may not be secured in a removable connection, unless otherwise indicated herein.
Referring to fig. 1, the paper turning and conveying mechanism includes a conveyor belt for conveying the paper, and the conveyor belt is divided into two sections, i.e., an upstream conveyor belt 1 and a downstream conveyor belt 2, along the direction of conveying the paper. A gripper 3 for gripping the paper is provided between the upstream conveyor belt 1 and the downstream conveyor belt 2. The clamp 3 can be turned over. As a preferred embodiment, the gripper 3 has two oppositely directed openings 3a, 3b, and when either opening (e.g. opening 3 a) reaches a position towards the upstream conveyor belt 1 as the gripper 3 flips over, the other opening (e.g. opening 3 b) reaches a position just towards the downstream conveyor belt 2. The two openings 3a and 3b are opened and closed simultaneously.
When any one of the orifices is inverted to a position facing the upstream conveyor belt 1, for example, the orifice 3a in fig. 1 has been inverted to a position facing the upstream conveyor belt 1, the leading end 3c of the orifice 3a is located upstream of the trailing end 1a of the upstream conveyor belt 1. Thus, upstream belt 1 can feed paper 4 conveyed by it directly into opening 3a as shown in FIG. 2, and opening 3a can then close as shown in FIG. 3 to clamp paper 4.
When any one of the openings is turned over to a position toward the downstream conveying belt 2, for example, the opening 3b in fig. 1 has been turned over to a position toward the downstream conveying belt 2, the leading end 3d of the opening 3b is located downstream of the leading end 2a of the downstream conveying belt 2. Thus, when any one of the openings for holding the paper material, for example, opening 3a in FIG. 3, is reversed to the position facing downstream conveyor 2 as shown in FIG. 4, the front end 3c of opening 3a is located downstream of the starting end 2a of downstream conveyor 2, and opening 3a opens as shown in FIG. 5, and paper material 4 can be directly placed on downstream conveyor 2.
In a preferred embodiment, a stopper 5 for stopping the paper from advancing is provided in the opening of the clamp 3. As shown in fig. 2, the stopper 5 ensures that the paper material stops at a predetermined position in the opening when the paper material is fed into the opening by the upstream conveying belt 1. In order to avoid the height of the limiting part 5 from obstructing the opening and closing of the clamp 3, a through hole 6 is formed in the half side of the clamp 3, and when the opening and closing of the clamp 3 are carried out, the limiting part 5 penetrates through the through hole 6.
The driving clamp 3 can be driven by a cylinder, a gear and a rack and the like. Fig. 6 shows an embodiment using an air cylinder for driving, and the air cylinder 7 drives the clamp 3 to open and close. Fig. 7 shows an embodiment of the present invention using rack and pinion drive, in which a motor drives a gear 8 to rotate back and forth, and the gear 8 drives the clamp 3 to open and close through two side racks 9 engaged with the gear 8.
As an alternative embodiment, referring to fig. 8, two grippers 3 are arranged along the circumferential direction of the turning rotation of the grippers, and the two grippers 3 are rotated in synchronization. The two clamps 3 are identical in structure, and each clamp 3 is provided with two oppositely-oriented openings. In this way, each time the two grippers 3 are turned synchronously through 90 °, one of them opens onto the upstream conveyor belt 1, while the other opens onto the downstream conveyor belt 2. By analogy, three or more jigs may be arranged along the circumferential direction of the turning rotation of the jigs, so that the jigs need only be turned by 60 degrees or less at a time.
In order to accommodate paper having a large length dimension (i.e., a dimension perpendicular to the plane of the drawing in which fig. 1 is drawn), referring to fig. 1 and 9, the present embodiment is provided with a plurality of upstream conveyor belts 1 arranged side by side, a plurality of downstream conveyor belts 2 arranged side by side, and a plurality of clamps 3 arranged side by side, wherein the upstream conveyor belts 1 are arranged with the clamps 3 at intervals, and the downstream conveyor belts 2 are arranged with the clamps 3 at intervals. This configuration is suitable for conveying and turning paper having a relatively large length dimension. In order to enable all the grippers 3 to be turned synchronously, all the grippers 3 are mounted on the same rotor 10. The chain line in fig. 9 indicates the rotation axis of the rotation member 10. The structure of each jig 3 and the stoppers 5 and the through holes 6 in fig. 9 is the same as that in fig. 1, but some jigs 3 are not provided with the stoppers 5 and the through holes 6.
The above-mentioned embodiments only express several embodiments of the present invention, and the description thereof is specific and detailed, but not construed as limiting the scope of the utility model. It should be noted that, for a person skilled in the art, several variations and modifications can be made without departing from the inventive concept, which falls within the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the protection scope of the present patent shall be subject to the appended claims.
