Background
Thrombi are small patches of blood flow that form on the surface of a denuded or repaired site within a blood vessel of the cardiovascular system. In variable flow dependent patterns, the thrombus is composed of insoluble fibrin, deposited platelets, accumulated leukocytes, and entrapped erythrocytes. If the thrombus forms blockage in the blood vessel of the human body, the blood flow is interrupted, and the diseases such as myocardial infarction, cerebral apoplexy and the like which can endanger life are easily caused.
At present, a clinically common artificial mechanical method for restoring the patency of blood vessels is thrombus aspiration. Thrombectomy is the main intervention of a human blood vessel with the aid of a thrombectomy catheter to remove the thrombus forming a blockage in the human blood vessel. The therapeutic rate of revascularization using thrombectomy is high, however, existing thrombectomy still has many drawbacks.
For example, the inflatable balloon used by the existing thrombus aspiration catheter has low elasticity, and can cause great damage to blood vessels after accidental rupture; the inflatable balloon used by the existing thrombus aspiration catheter has a small inflatable cavity and a single direction, and is easy to cause inflation difficulty due to extrusion; the friction force between an inflatable balloon used by the conventional thrombus aspiration catheter and a blood vessel wall is low, and the risk of no re-flowing after operation due to relative sliding of the inflatable balloon and the blood vessel wall is greatly increased; guide wires used by the conventional thrombus suction catheter are all oblique incision head ends, and although the oblique incision head ends are favorable for sucking large thrombus, the risk of cutting the blood vessel wall is greatly increased; the existing thrombus aspiration catheter has complex structure and inconvenient operation.
Therefore, the thrombus suction catheter which is not easy to damage the blood vessel, saves labor and is fast to inflate the balloon, is not easy to slide relative to the blood vessel wall, has a simple structure and is convenient to operate is urgently needed to overcome the defects of the existing thrombus suction catheter.
