An engaging portion 230 is disposed on an outer surface of the upper wall 212 and extends along an axial direction X (shown in fig. 3) of the first accommodating chamber 220, and a fixing groove 230a (e.g., a card slot conforming to the USCAR/EWCAP-005 standard) is disposed in the engaging portion 230. As shown in fig. 3, the fixing groove 230a (viewed in the radial Y direction) is a notch-shaped groove, and the fixing groove 230a is configured to be coupled with a clip 700 (shown in fig. 13 to 16) so that the base 200 can be fixed at a target position (e.g., on a sheet metal panel of an automobile) by the clip 700. Specifically, as shown in fig. 13 to 16, the fixing groove 230a is engaged with the engaging portion 710 of the clip 700, so that the base 200 is fixed to the clip 700 in the radial direction Y; in addition, the engaging portion 230 further includes a protrusion 280 protruding outward from an outer surface thereof, and the clip 700 is further provided with a locking groove 720, and the base 200 is fixed to the clip 700 in the axial direction X by the engagement of the protrusion 280 and the locking groove 720. As shown in fig. 3, the lower surface of the engaging portion 230 is provided with downwardly protruding ribs 260a, 260b for preventing the engaging portion 250 from being deformed downwardly. It should be understood that in another embodiment, the number of ribs may be one or three or any number.
As shown in fig. 5 and 6, the base 200 further includes a blocking wall 270, and the blocking wall 270 is located at the other side (i.e., the left side of the base 200) opposite to the side where the second housing 300 enters the first receiving chamber 200, and is used for limiting the watertight plug 400. The blocking wall 270 is provided with a through hole 290 to allow an external wire to enter the first receiving chamber 220.
As shown in fig. 1, 2 and 7 to 9, the second housing 300 includes a receiving chamber 330a and a receiving chamber 340 provided therein. As shown in fig. 7 and 8, the accommodating chamber 330a is located at the left side of the second housing 300, the accommodating chamber 340 is located at the right side of the second housing 300, a partition wall 330b is disposed between the accommodating chamber 330a and the accommodating chamber 340, and a through hole 330c is disposed on the partition wall 330b to allow an external lead (e.g., the lead 600 of fig. 12 and 15-16) to enter the accommodating chamber 340 through the through hole 330 c. The receiving cavity 340 allows a mating connector (not shown) of the connector 100 to enter from the right side of the second housing 300 and electrically connect with the conductive terminal 500. As shown in fig. 7 to 9, the outer surface of the second housing 300 is provided with a first guide part 320a, a second guide part 320b, a third guide part 320c and a fourth guide part 320d respectively engaged with the first groove 250a, the second groove 250b, the third groove 250c and the fourth groove 250d of the base 200, in the embodiment shown in fig. 7 to 9, the first guide part 320a, the second guide part 320b, the third guide part 320c, and the fourth guide part 320d are a first protrusion, a second protrusion, a third protrusion, and a fourth protrusion, respectively, protruding outward from the outer surface of the second housing 300, the first protrusion and the second protrusion are triangular protrusions, the first guide portion 320a and the second guide portion 320b have both a guiding function and a locking function, and at this time, the first guide portion 320a is also referred to as a locking portion 320a, and the second guide portion 320b is also referred to as a locking portion 320 b. As shown in fig. 10 to 12, the watertight plug 400 includes a first portion 400a and a second portion 400b, and the watertight plug 400 further includes a through hole 410 penetrating the first portion 400a and the second portion 400b to allow an external wire 600 to pass through the watertight plug 400. The second portion 400b is received in the receiving cavity 330 a. The first portion 400a is configured to pass through the through-hole 290 of the blocking wall 270 of the base 200. 2. The base of claim 1, further comprising a latch disposed on the first sidewall or the second sidewall, the latch extending from the first sidewall or the second sidewall into the first receiving cavity.
3. The base of claim 2, further comprising at least one guide slot disposed within the first housing for guiding movement of the second housing within the first receiving cavity.
4. The base of claim 3, wherein a lower surface of the engaging portion is provided with at least one rib to enhance rigidity of the engaging portion.
5. The base of claim 3, wherein the at least one guide slot comprises a first groove, a second groove, a third groove, and a fourth groove disposed on the first sidewall, the second sidewall, the upper wall, and the lower wall, respectively.
6. The base of claim 3, further comprising a blocking wall located on a side opposite to a side of the second housing entering the first receiving cavity, the blocking wall configured to limit a watertight plug.
7. The base as claimed in claim 1, wherein the fixing groove is a groove, the external connecting member is a clip fitted into the groove, and the base is fixed to the clip in an axial direction by fitting the groove with a fitting portion of the clip.
8. A connector, comprising:
a base, comprising:
the first shell comprises an upper wall, a first side wall, a second side wall and a lower wall, and the upper wall, the first side wall, the second side wall and the lower wall enclose a first accommodating cavity; and
an engaging part provided on an outer surface of the upper wall, the engaging part having a fixing groove therein, the fixing groove being configured to be connected with an external connector so that the base can be fixed to a target position by the external connector;
the second shell is accommodated in the first accommodating cavity, so that the base is matched with the second shell, and a second accommodating cavity is formed in the second shell;
a waterproof plug; and
the conductive terminal comprises a first end and a second end, the first end is electrically connected with a wire, and the second end is butted with a mating connector matched with the connector;
wherein the conductive terminal is received in the second receiving cavity, a portion of the waterproof plug is received in the second receiving cavity, and the wire can pass through the waterproof plug.
9. The connector according to claim 8, wherein the base further comprises a latch provided on the first side wall or the second side wall, the latch extending from the first side wall or the second side wall into the first accommodation chamber, the second housing being provided with a locking portion corresponding to the latch, the latch being configured to prevent the second housing from being detached from the first housing by engagement with the locking portion when the second housing is mounted in the first accommodation chamber.
10. The connector of claim 9, wherein the base further comprises at least one guide slot disposed within the first housing for guiding the second housing to move within the first receiving cavity.
11. The connector according to claim 10, wherein an inner surface of the engaging portion is provided with at least one rib to enhance rigidity of the engaging portion.

The connector according to claim 10, wherein the at least one guide groove comprises a first groove, a second groove, a third groove and a fourth groove respectively provided on the first side wall, the second side wall, the upper wall and the lower wall, and a first guide portion, a second guide portion, a third guide portion and a fourth guide portion respectively engaged with the first groove, the second groove, the third groove and the fourth groove are provided on the second housing, wherein the first guide portion or the second guide portion is at least a part of the locking portion.
13. The connector of claim 8, wherein the base further comprises a blocking wall on another side opposite to a side of the second housing entering the first receiving cavity, the blocking wall configured to limit the watertight plug.

The connector of claim 13, wherein the second receiving cavity comprises a third receiving cavity and a fourth receiving cavity, a partition wall is disposed between the third receiving cavity and the fourth receiving cavity for separating the third receiving cavity and the fourth receiving cavity, the waterproof plug is at least partially received in the third receiving cavity, the conductive terminal is received in the fourth receiving cavity, and a through hole is disposed on the partition wall so that the conductive wire can be connected with the first end of the conductive terminal through the through hole.
15. The connector according to claim 8, wherein the fixing groove is a recessed groove, the external connecting member is a clip fitted into the recessed groove, and the base is fixed to the clip in the axial direction by fitting of the recessed groove and a fitting portion of the clip.
