Detailed Description
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a portable electronic device according to an embodiment of the present invention. Fig. 2 is a disassembled schematic view of the portable electronic device of fig. 1. Fig. 3 is a top schematic view of the portable electronic device of fig. 1. Referring to fig. 1 to fig. 3, in the present embodiment, the portable electronic device 10 may be a display device in a smart phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, or other display devices. In detail, the portable electronic device 10 includes a display 100 and a protective frame 200, wherein the display 100 may be designed with a narrow-bezel screen, a frameless screen or a full glass screen to improve the integrity of the displayed image. In order to prevent the display 100 from being cracked or damaged due to the external force directly acting on the structural weak points (e.g., the side edges and the corners) of the display 100, the protective frame 200 is used to cover the structural weak points (e.g., the side edges and the corners) of the display 100. Therefore, the portable electronic device 10 has excellent collision avoidance capability.
As shown in FIG. 1, the bezel 200 is mounted around the display 100, i.e., the bezel 200 surrounds the display 100. As shown in fig. 2, the user can detach the protective frame 200 according to the personal operation requirement, so the portable electronic device 10 has excellent operation convenience. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the protective frame 200 is a hollow frame, and when the display 100 is installed in the protective frame 200 or the protective frame 200 covers the display 100, both the display side and the back side of the display 100 are not covered by the protective frame 200, so as to improve the integrity of the display screen and improve the overall appearance quality.
Fig. 4 is a schematic partial cross-sectional view of the portable electronic device of fig. 3 taken along section line a-a. Referring to fig. 2 to 4, in the present embodiment, the display 100 includes a frame 110, a display module 120, and a plurality of magnets 130, wherein the display module 120 is fixed in the frame 110, and the frame 110 surrounds the display module 120. In detail, the bezel 110 has an inner wall surface 110a facing the periphery of the display module 120, and the plurality of magnets 130 may be fixed to the inner wall surface 110a of the bezel 110 by gluing. Therefore, the plurality of magnets 130 are substantially located between the frame 110 and the display module 120. When the protective frame 200 is detached, the periphery of the display 100 is exposed, but the magnets 130 are hidden between the bezel 110 and the display module 120.
As shown in fig. 2 to 4, the protective frame 200 includes an elastic frame 210 and a plurality of magnetic members 220, wherein the elastic frame 210 is used as a protective body of the display 100 and covers the periphery of the display 100, or the elastic frame 210 surrounds the frame 110 of the display 100. The elastic frame 210 may be a hollow frame made of thermoplastic elastomer, and has a shore hardness of 85A. Therefore, the elastic frame 210 can not only deform moderately to facilitate the assembly and disassembly, but also have an excellent anti-collision capability to prevent the display 100 from being broken or damaged due to impact.
On the other hand, the plurality of magnetic members 220 are embedded in the elastic frame 210, wherein the plurality of magnetic members 220 are made of carbon tool steel, wherein the Rockwell Hardness (HRC) of the plurality of magnetic members 220 is between 42 and 45, and the chemical nickel plating treatment is performed, so that the oxidation resistance and the corrosion resistance are realized. The plurality of magnetic members 220 are insert-molded on the elastic frame 210, wherein the plurality of magnetic members 220 are distributed around the elastic frame 210 and located inside the elastic frame 210, thereby helping to maintain the flatness or tension of the elastic frame 210. On the other hand, the magnets 130 are distributed around the frame 110 and located inside the frame 110.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, when the display 100 is mounted in the protective frame 200, the magnets 130 magnetically attract the magnetic members 220 to improve the mounting reliability between the display 100 and the protective frame 200, and the pushed display 100 can be prevented from being separated from the protective frame 200 by the magnetic attraction. Further, when the display 100 is pushed to slightly slide relative to the protective frame 200, the display 100 can be reset by the magnetic attraction force generated by the magnets 130 and the magnetic members 220.
In the present embodiment, the elastic frame 210 has an inner wall surface 210a facing the frame 110, wherein a part of the plurality of magnetic members 220 is exposed out of the inner wall surface 210a of the elastic frame 210, and the distribution positions of the plurality of magnetic members 220 on the elastic frame 210 are matched with the distribution positions of the plurality of magnets 130 on the frame 110. That is, the number of the plurality of magnetic members 220 is equal to the number of the plurality of magnets 130, and when the display 100 is installed in the protective frame 200, each magnet 130 is aligned with and magnetically attracted to one of the magnetic members 220.
Further, a part of each magnetic member 220 protrudes from the inner wall surface 210a of the elastic frame 210, and protrudes 0.1 mm from the inner wall surface 210a of the elastic frame 210, for example. The bezel 110 further has an outer wall surface 110b facing the inner wall surface 210a of the elastic frame 210, and when the display 100 is mounted in the bezel 200, the plurality of magnetic members 220 contact and press against the outer wall surface 110b of the elastic frame 210, so as to improve the mounting reliability between the display 100 and the bezel 200.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, the inner wall surface 110a of the frame 110 has a plurality of grooves 112, and the magnets 130 are fixed in the grooves 112 to improve the mechanism integration. It is understood that the plurality of recesses 112 are configured to receive the plurality of magnets 130, and thus the number of the plurality of recesses 112 is equal to the number of the plurality of magnets 130. In addition, the plurality of grooves 112 are distributed around the frame 110 and located inside the frame 110.
Referring to fig. 2 to 4, in the present embodiment, the elastic frame 210 has a first opening 212, a second opening 214 opposite to the first opening 212, and a limiting protrusion 216, wherein the first opening 212 and the second opening 214 are respectively located on two opposite sides of the inner wall surface 210a, and the limiting protrusion 216 protrudes from the inner wall surface 210a along an inner edge of the second opening 214.
In detail, the first opening 212 serves as a mounting/dismounting passage for the display 100, wherein the backside of the display 100 is exposed to the outside through the second opening 214, and the limiting protrusion 216 can prevent the display 100 from being separated from the protective frame 200 through the second opening 214. In more detail, the display 100 abuts against the position-limiting protrusion 216 to generate mechanical interference, so that the position-limiting protrusion 216 can generate a bearing and stopping effect on the display 100. For example, the limit protrusion 216 may be a limit protrusion ring extending along the inner edge of the second opening 214, a limit protrusion rib distributed on the inner edge of the second opening 214, or a limit protrusion distributed on the inner edge of the second opening 214.
To sum up, the utility model discloses a portable electronic device adopts the structure weakness (e.g. side and corner) of protective frame cladding display, according to the structure weakness (e.g. side and corner) that causes the display cracked or damage in order to prevent external force direct action display, so the utility model discloses a portable electronic device has excellent crashworthiness. On the other hand, adopt magnetism to inhale the positioning mechanism between display and the protective frame, not only help improving the installation reliability between display and the protective frame, also can prevent by the effect of magnetic attraction that the display that is pushed breaks away from the protective frame and takes off. In addition, according to the individual operation demand, the user can dismouting protective frame by oneself, so the utility model discloses a portable electronic device has splendid operation convenience.
Although the present invention has been described with reference to the above embodiments, it is not intended to limit the present invention, and those skilled in the art can make modifications and variations without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
