In this embodiment, as shown in fig. 8, the upper surface of the coupling member 2 is a flat surface 12 for placing the factory charging base 3. Claims (11)

1. A security device for a wearable article, comprising:
a support site configured to be operably associated with a factory charging base of a wearable article;
a connector configured to detachably connect with an input interface of a charging base of a wearable article;
a security cable configured to connect the wearable merchandise and an alerting device;
an alert device configured to emit a safety signal when the safety cable is disconnected.
2. A security device for a wearable article as claimed in claim 1, wherein said connector is configured to be adjustable in distance relative to the support site.
3. The security device of claim 1, wherein the support site comprises a coupling member and is configured to be operably coupled to a factory charging base via the coupling member.
4. A security device for a wearable article as claimed in claim 3, wherein said engagement means is configured to operatively engage with a factory charging base by means of adhesive and/or structural restraint.
5. The security device of claim 1, comprising a power source configured to be electrically connected to the connector and configured to provide power to the wearable item.
6. A security device for a wearable article as claimed in claim 1, wherein said security cable includes a sensor configured to operatively connect to said wearable article for detecting said wearable article connection status.
7. The security device of claim 6, wherein the sensor detects the merchandise detection mode by detecting one or more of a switch, a current, a voltage, a pressure, and an optical combination.
8. The security device of claim 1, wherein the security cable is configured to couple to the alerting device and configured to form a detection loop.
9. A security device for a wearable article as claimed in claim 1, including a base configured for direct or indirect mounting to a support surface for supporting said support site or article.
10. A security device for a wearable article as claimed in claim 1, wherein said alerting device comprises an alarm configured to emit an alarm.
11. A security device for a wearable article as claimed in claim 9, wherein said alerting device is configured to be embedded in said base or independent of said base.
