the surface of the connecting rod, which is axially adjacent to the bottom, is provided with annular teeth;
the top of the connecting piece is provided with a first through hole, one end of the connecting rod, which is close to the bottom, in the axial direction passes through the first through hole and penetrates through the connecting piece, and the connecting rod can move in the axial direction relative to the connecting piece;
the first gear is arranged on the bottom plate, and when the connecting rod moves towards the direction close to the bottom plate until the annular tooth and the first gear are basically in the same plane, the first gear is meshed with the annular tooth;
the control switch is arranged outside the connecting piece, one plane of the control switch is provided with a contact, and the contact is used for controlling the control switch;
the moving block is arranged below the control switch, when the contact is in mutual contact with the moving block, the control switch controls the electric pencil sharpener to start sharpening operation, and when the contact is not in mutual contact with the moving block, the control switch controls the electric pencil sharpener to stop working;
the transmission part is arranged to be linked with the first gear, when the connecting rod rotates and the first gear is meshed with the annular teeth, the first gear rotates and drives the transmission part to enable the transmission part to approach and finally act on the moving block, so that the moving block moves to be not in contact with the contact, and the electric pencil sharpener is controlled to stop working after a pencil sharpening operation is carried out;
when sharpening of a pencil inserted into the electric pencil sharpener is completed, the connecting rod is pressed downwards to enable the connecting rod to move downwards relative to the connecting piece, the annular teeth are meshed with the first gear to drive the first gear to rotate, the first gear drives the transmission piece to approach and finally act on the moving block, so that the moving block and the contact are far away from each other and are not in contact with each other, the first gear rotates to drive the transmission piece to enable the moving block to be far away from the contact, so that a time delay is formed, the electric pencil sharpener completes the light pencil operation during the time delay, and when the moving block moves to be not in contact with the contact, the electric pencil sharpener stops working.

The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the link has a first elastic member at a bottom thereof for restoring the link to an initial position without any external force; the first gear is provided with a second elastic piece, the second elastic piece comprises a first end positioned in the center and a second end far away from the center, the first end is connected with the first gear, and the second end is connected with the bottom plate so that the first gear can restore to the initial position without the action of other external force; and one end of the moving block is provided with a third elastic piece for restoring the initial position of the moving block under the action of no other external force.

The delayed release mechanism for an electric sharpener of claim 2, wherein said drive member is an arc gear fixedly disposed concentrically with said first gear; the moving block is provided with a tooth-shaped structure matched with the circular arc gear; a support piece is arranged on the bottom plate, and the moving block is assembled on the support piece so that the tooth-shaped structure can be matched with the circular arc gear;
when the first gear rotates, the circular arc gear is driven to rotate simultaneously, the teeth of the circular arc gear rotate and are finally meshed with the tooth-shaped structure, and the circular arc gear acts on the moving block to enable the moving block to move towards the direction far away from the contact.
