Detailed Description
The following description is merely exemplary in nature and is not intended to limit the present disclosure, application, or uses. It should be understood that throughout the drawings, identical or similar reference numerals indicate identical or similar parts and features. The drawings are only schematic representations of the concepts and principles of the embodiments of the disclosure, and do not necessarily show specific dimensions or proportions of the various embodiments of the disclosure. Certain features that are part of a particular figure may be exaggerated in order to illustrate relevant details or structures of embodiments of the present disclosure.
Fig. 1 is an exploded perspective view of a traffic column 1 according to an exemplary mode of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the traffic pillar 1 includes a divided traffic pillar body composed of a pillar 10 and a base 30, wherein the pillar 10 may be covered with a plurality of reflective films 20 on an outer circumferential surface thereof. The traffic column 1 may also include a reflector 40. Illustratively, the plurality of retroreflective films 20 may be arranged to be equidistantly spaced apart, although the retroreflective films may be applied to the outer circumferential surface of the cylinder 10 in any pattern or design. Further, the retroreflective sheeting 20 may be bonded to the posts 10 in any suitable manner, such as by adhesive bonding, and the retroreflective sheeting 20 may be made of any suitable retroreflective material. The base 30 is located at the lower side of the column 10 to support the column 10 and fixedly connect the column 10 to the ground. Both the base 30 and the column 10 may be made of a plastic material, and the base 30 may be made of a heavier and more rigid plastic material, thereby ensuring stability of the traffic column.
Referring to fig. 2a, in the traffic column 1 according to the present invention, the base 30 may be formed with a hollow inner space into which the column body 10 may be inserted to be coupled with the base 30. The base 30 may include a cylindrical body 32 and a ground engaging portion 34 extending from the cylindrical body. As shown in fig. 2b, a reflector 40 is provided on an outer side of the ground engaging portion 34. Specifically, the ground engaging portion 34 may have an outer side portion extending obliquely downward and may have a recess formed therein to accommodate the reflector 40. The angle α between the reflector 40 and the ground may be set in the range of 15 ° to 45 °. The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a high-intensity reflective effect using a microprism reflector, which is capable of setting an angle α between the reflector 40 and the ground to be in a range of 15 ° to 45 ° through repeated research and comparison, and which is capable of providing a very high reflective brightness for the reflector 40, thereby providing a clear road surface indication for a driver. In this way, even in the case where the external light is weak such as during night driving, the driver can clearly recognize the road surface safety information due to the high light-reflecting property of the microprism reflector, thereby ensuring the safety of the driver and the pedestrian.
Fig. 3 shows a partial cross-sectional view of a traffic column according to the invention. As shown in FIG. 3, the cylinder 10 includes a first section S1 having a first outer diameter d1 and a second section S2 having a second outer diameter d2, the first outer diameter d1 being greater than the second outer diameter d2, thereby forming a step 12 between the first section S1 and the second section S2. The underside of the second section S2 may be formed with an annular recess 14.
Fig. 4 and 5 schematically show a top view and a perspective cross-sectional view, respectively, of the base 30. Referring to fig. 5, the base 30 is formed with a protrusion 36 facing inward and downward at a boundary between the cylindrical body 32 and the ground engaging portion 34. The projections 36 may include a plurality of projections 36 equally spaced around the lower end of the inner surface of the cylindrical body 32. The distance between the protrusions 36 facing each other is gradually reduced as the protrusions extend downward, and has a minimum distance d3 at the bottom end of the protrusions, the minimum distance d3 being smaller than the second outer diameter d2 of the second section S2 of the column 10.
When the cylinder 10 is inserted into the inner space of the base 30, the protrusion 36 is pressed by the cylinder 10 to be elastically expanded outward, thereby allowing the cylinder 10 to move downward with respect to the base 30. The downward movement of the base 30 continues until the projection 36 descends into the annular recess 14 of the second section S2 of the column 10, at which point the projection 36 resiliently returns to its normal position and snaps into the annular recess 14. Thereafter, the column 10 can be moved further slightly downward relative to the base 30 until the top surface of the base 30 abuts the step 12 of the column 10 (as shown in fig. 3), at which point the step 12 prevents the column 10 from moving further downward. Since the minimum distance d3 between the bottom ends of the protrusions is smaller than the second outer diameter d2 of the second section S2, the column 10 is prevented from moving upward relative to the base 30. Also, the inner diameter d4 of the interior space of the base 30 is substantially equal to the second outer diameter d2 of the second section S2, thereby preventing side-to-side translation of the column 10 relative to the base 30. In this way, the column 10 can be fixedly connected to the base 30 without any relative displacement. Thus, the split type traffic pole body can be integrally installed by simply inserting the pole body 10 into the base 30.
It should be noted here that although the base 30 is exemplarily shown to include four protrusions 36 in fig. 4, the present disclosure is not limited thereto, but the number of protrusions may be increased or decreased accordingly according to the rigidity of the base material. Further, as shown in fig. 5, the protruding portion 36 is preferably formed on the inner wall of the boundary portion of the cylindrical body 32 with the ground engaging portion 34, in such a manner that the protruding portion 36 can be subjected to the pressing action of the shorter section of the cylindrical body, so that the reliability of use of the protruding portion can be improved. It will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the projection 36 may be provided at other locations on the inner wall of the cylindrical body so long as it is capable of being inserted into a correspondingly provided annular recess 14.
Referring to fig. 4, the ground engaging portion 34 may be further formed at a periphery thereof with a through mounting hole 340 for fixedly connecting the base 30 to the ground by a fastener such as a screw. Although the ground engaging portion 34 of the base 30 is illustratively shown here as being rectangular, it should be understood that the ground engaging portion 34 may be formed in any other suitable shape, such as square or circular. It should also be understood that although the base 30 is exemplarily illustrated as being provided with two reflectors 40 and four mounting holes 340, the present invention is not limited thereto, and other numbers of reflectors and mounting holes may be provided according to actual requirements.
The reflector 40 may be directly connected to the ground engaging portion 34 by, for example, ultrasonic welding or the like. Alternatively, as shown in fig. 6 and 7, the reflector 40 may include a reflector body 42 and a mounting box 44. Fig. 6 is a top view of a reflector including a reflector body and a mounting box according to the present invention, and fig. 7 is a cross-sectional view taken along line B-B in fig. 6. As shown in fig. 7, the mounting box 44 may be formed with a mounting recess receiving the reflector body 42 at a first surface, and the mounting box may be formed with a mounting protrusion 45 at a second surface opposite to the first side, and accordingly, a mounting groove (not shown) corresponding to the mounting protrusion 45 is provided at the bottom surface joint 34 of the base 30 to fixedly connect the mounting box 44 to the ground joint 34. The reflector body 42 may be attached to the first surface of the mounting box 44 by, for example, ultrasonic welding or the like, and the second surface of the mounting box 44 or the recess of the ground engaging portion 34 may be coated with an adhesive to bond the mounting box to the ground engaging portion, while the mounting projection may further secure the mounting box to the ground engaging portion.
The traffic column 1 according to the exemplary embodiment of the present invention can be quickly installed in a simple manner. Specifically, when the traffic column 1 is used, the light reflecting film 20 may be first bonded to the column 1. Thereafter, the reflector 40 may be welded or bonded to the base 30. The post 10 is then inserted down into the base 30 until the top surface of the base abuts the step 12 of the post 10, at which point the protrusion 36 snaps into the annular recess 14 of the post, thereby mounting the post 10 and the base 30 as a unitary traffic post 1. Finally, the traffic column 1 is fixed to the ground by fastening members such as screws through the mounting holes 340. Since the traffic column 1 can be quickly installed on site, the components can be stored and transported separately, saving storage space. Meanwhile, the split traffic column is easy to maintain, when parts such as a reflector or a reflective film are found to be damaged, corresponding parts can be maintained or replaced only in real time, and the whole traffic column does not need to be replaced, so that the maintenance process is greatly simplified, and the maintenance cost is reduced. Of course, according to the utility model discloses a traffic post also can be installed the use to the scene after installing in advance before the use.
Although various embodiments and modifications of the present invention have been specifically described above, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that the present invention is not limited to the specific embodiments and modifications described above but may include other various possible combinations and combinations. Other modifications and variations may be effected by one skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. All such variations and modifications are intended to fall within the scope of the present invention. Moreover, all the components described herein may be replaced by other technically equivalent components.
