9. A U-shaped pillow according to claim 8, characterized in that at the location of the fixed end of the clamping portion, the elastic layer is provided with a recess, which is located inside the main body portion.
10. A U-shaped pillow according to claim 8 wherein a plurality of cavities are further provided in said resilient layer, said cavities being spaced apart along the length of said main body portion.
