Referring to fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention provides an air curtain airbag, which includes an airbag body 1 and an air duct 2, wherein the airbag body 1 has a front row chamber 3 and a rear row chamber 4, which are communicated with each other through the air duct 2; the front chamber 3 includes a main chamber 31 and an additional chamber 32 communicating with each other, both for protecting the head of a front passenger, and the rear chamber 4 for protecting the head of a rear passenger, wherein a side of the main chamber 31 remote from the additional chamber 32 has an extended air chamber 311 extending upward.
Based on the structure, the front-row chamber 3 and the rear-row chamber 4 are communicated with each other through the air duct 2, so that the two chambers can be inflated simultaneously; the front row chamber 3 includes the main chamber 31 and the additional chamber 32, and the main chamber 31 and the rear row chamber 4 correspond to the heads of the front and rear occupants, respectively, so that the air curtain bag can simultaneously cushion and protect the heads of the front and rear occupants after inflation and deployment, and the additional chamber 32 can further cushion and protect the front occupant when the front occupant leans forward by inertia, so that the air curtain bag can provide a better protection effect for the front occupant.
Referring to fig. 1, in the present embodiment, the gas guiding tube 2 is disposed between the front row chamber 3 and the rear row chamber 4 and has a gas inlet 21, a front gas outlet 22 and a rear gas outlet 23 which are communicated with each other, the gas inlet 21 is located outside the gas bag, the front gas outlet 22 is communicated with the front row chamber 3, and the rear gas outlet 23 is communicated with the rear row chamber 4. Thus, the gas is input through the gas inlet 21 and output through the front exhaust outlet 22 and the rear exhaust outlet 23, so that the front row chamber 3 and the rear row chamber 4 can be simultaneously inflated, and the inflation efficiency is high. Preferably, the intake port 21 is directed obliquely upward from the side of the rear chamber 3 to improve the smoothness of the airflow during inflation.
Referring to fig. 1, in the present embodiment, the thickness of the main chamber 31 corresponding to the center of mass of the head is greater than 180 mm; the rear row of chambers 4 has a thickness greater than 150mm at the position corresponding to the centre of mass of the head. Based on this, the air curtain air bag can not be unfolded due to too low thickness of the cavity, so that the air curtain air bag can not float inwards or outwards, and can meet the requirements of C-NCAP test at 32km/h and 75 ℃.
Referring to fig. 1, in the present embodiment, the air bag body 1 has two first drainage holes 8 communicated with the back row chamber 4, and the two first drainage holes 8 are disposed above the position of the back row chamber 4 corresponding to the center of mass of the head and arranged at intervals along the transverse direction.
