The toasting apparatus of claim 4 wherein the ridges comprise first and second oppositely sloped surfaces and a ridge line formed at the intersection of the first and second sloped surfaces; the intersection of the first slope surface of one ridge portion and the second slope surface of the other ridge portion in two adjacent ridge portions forms a valley line of the valley portion between the two adjacent ridge portions.
6. The toasting apparatus according to claim 5 wherein the ridgeline extends arcuately from a central portion to a peripheral edge of the deflector; and/or
The valley line extends from the middle of the baffle to the periphery along a straight line.
7. The toasting apparatus of claim 6 wherein the end of the valley line that intersects the peripheral edge of the deflector is downwardly sloped.
8. The toasting apparatus according to claim 6, wherein a plurality of support legs are spaced apart from each other at the periphery of the deflector, and the deflector is supported on the bottom of the oil receiving barrel by the support legs.
9. The toasting apparatus according to claim 8, wherein the legs are disposed at the intersection of the valley line and the periphery of the deflector, and the deflector is provided with oil guiding grooves extending from the middle of the deflector along the valley line to the legs.
10. The grilling apparatus as recited in claim 1 further comprising a second pan assembly having a bottom with a grilling surface for grilling food items, said second pan assembly and said first pan assembly being alternatively positionable above said heating device.
