1. An indoor unit of an air conditioner, comprising:
the top of the shell is open, and the area of the outer contour of the projection of the middle part of the shell in the horizontal plane is smaller than that of the outer contour of the projection of the upper end of the shell in the horizontal plane and smaller than that of the outer contour of the projection of the lower end of the shell in the horizontal plane; and
the top cover is arranged on the top opening side of the shell, and the upper surface of the top cover is provided with a convex part protruding upwards and/or a concave part recessed downwards.
2. An indoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 1, wherein a part of the top cover is recessed downward to form a recessed portion; and/or a portion of the top cover protrudes upward to form a protrusion.
3. An indoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 1, wherein the top cover extends obliquely downward and then obliquely upward in the front-rear direction to form the recessed portion.
4. An indoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 1, further comprising a decoration member provided at an outer peripheral edge of the top cover and detachably connected to the top cover.
5. An indoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 4, wherein the garnish extends in a strip shape along a peripheral edge of the top cover, or the garnish extends in a ring shape along the peripheral edge of the top cover.
6. An indoor unit of an air conditioner as claimed in claim 4, wherein one of the decorative member and the top cover is provided with a hook and the other is provided with a slot, and the hook is engaged with the slot; and/or one of the decorating part and the top cover is provided with a guide convex rib, and the other one of the decorating part and the top cover is provided with a guide groove, wherein the guide convex rib is matched with the guide groove.
7. An indoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 1, wherein a plurality of reinforcing ribs are provided on a lower surface of the top cover, and at least two of the reinforcing ribs intersect.
8. An indoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 1, wherein one of the top cover and the casing is provided with a positioning projection and the other is provided with a positioning groove, and the positioning projection is engaged with the positioning groove.
9. An indoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 8, wherein the positioning protrusion and the positioning groove are plural, and the plural positioning protrusions and the plural positioning grooves are respectively spaced apart in the circumferential direction of the top cover and are fitted in one-to-one correspondence.
10. An indoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 1, wherein a first fastening hole is formed in the top cover, a second fastening hole is formed in the casing, and a fastening member is inserted through the first fastening hole and the second fastening hole.
11. An indoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 1, wherein the lower surface of the top cover is provided with a plurality of spaced support bosses which abut against the casing.
12. An indoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 1, wherein the top cover is an injection molded integral member, and a glue inlet portion is provided at a center of the top cover.
13. An indoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 1, wherein the top cover has a pickup portion.
14. An indoor unit of an air conditioner according to claim 1, wherein a peripheral edge of the top cover is provided with a flange bent downward, and the flange extends in a circumferential direction of the top cover.
15. An air conditioner characterized by comprising an indoor unit of an air conditioner according to any one of claims 1 to 14.
