Description

Intramedullary nail and intramedullary nail internal fixation kit
Technical Field

Background
The principles of fracture treatment are anatomical reduction, stable internal fixation, protection of blood circulation and early movement. The commonly used fracture treatment methods at present are metal locking bone plate fixation and metal strap locking intramedullary nail fixation. Compared with a metal locking bone fracture plate, the metal interlocking intramedullary nail is more minimally invasive in operation, the metal interlocking intramedullary nail is fixed in the marrow, and the fixed axis is close to the central axis of a long bone, so that the stress shielding effect can be greatly reduced. While intramedullary fixation, allows stress to be transmitted down the cortical bone through the fractured end of the fracture, allowing some stress to stimulate fracture healing. The locking nails at the proximal end and the distal end of the intramedullary nail can improve the anti-rotation performance of the intramedullary nail. At present, various types of intramedullary nails are available on the market for hip fracture, and a locking nail hole is arranged on a main nail body of the intramedullary nail and used for enabling a proximal locking nail to penetrate through and be implanted into a femoral neck. The applicable neck and shaft angles of the intramedullary nail main body are fixed for the same type of the intramedullary nail main body, however, due to individual difference, the neck and shaft angles of different patients can be different, so different types of intramedullary nail main bodies need to be prepared to meet clinical requirements.
