First, referring to fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention provides a case 1, which may be but not limited to a case of an electronic device such as a 1U, 2U or 4U server, but the illustrated case 1 is only an example of a form applicable to the field of servers to achieve the purpose of illustrating the spirit of the present invention, but not limiting the present invention. In other embodiments, the chassis of the present invention can be adjusted in form and design according to different application fields, so as to be used as a housing or a container for other kinds of electronic devices or non-electronic devices.
As shown, in this embodiment and other embodiments, the case 1 may include a case 10 and a cover assembly 20. The housing 10 may be used to house electronic/non-electronic components or devices as desired, but the present invention is not limited thereto. The cover assembly 20 is detachably assembled to the housing 10 so as to cover or expose an opening O (shown in fig. 2). The opening O of the casing 10 described herein may refer to, but is not limited to, a passage that allows an inner space of the casing 10 to communicate with the outside and allows a user to access elements/devices in the inner space.
In the embodiment of the enclosure 1 applied to the server, the cover plate assembly 20 is equivalent to a front bezel (frontbezel) of the server, and is usually located on the front surface of the server, not only the door surface of the server, but also an interface of the server, which is more frequently contacted by a user, so in some practical applications, a visual element (not shown) capable of highlighting a brand or showing a style is usually additionally designed on the outer surface or the appearance surface of the cover plate assembly 20, and accordingly, an element exposed to the outer surface or the appearance surface of the cover plate assembly 20 needs to take the aforementioned visual requirement into consideration, and accordingly, an internal mechanism linked with the element needs to be specially configured to ensure smooth operation.
For example, as shown in fig. 1, the release member 230 of the cover member 20 for the user to operate to release the cover member from the housing 10 is arranged at one corner of the cover member 20, and in this configuration, the interior of the cover member 20 should have a corresponding special mechanism to ensure smooth assembly/disassembly of the cover member 20 while matching the position of the release member 230. It should be understood, however, that the present invention is not limited to the location of the release member 230 on the cover plate assembly 20 and the visual style that the arrangement is intended to exhibit.
In detail, referring to fig. 2 to 4, fig. 2 is a partially enlarged exploded view of the chassis 1, fig. 3 is a partially enlarged front view of the chassis 1, and fig. 4 is a partially enlarged internal view of the cover plate assembly 20, wherein the box 10 is partially shown in dotted lines in fig. 4 for facilitating understanding of the assembly relationship between the cover plate assembly 20 and the box 10.
In the embodiment, the box 10 may further have at least one box fastening hole 10a, and the cover assembly 20 may include a cover member 210, the aforementioned release member 230, and a fastening mechanism 240. As shown in the figure, the case body locking holes 10a are disposed at least on opposite sides of the opening O. The cover member 210 is a portion of the cover assembly 20 that is mainly used for shielding the opening O of the box 10, the release member 230 and the engaging mechanism 240 are movably disposed on the cover member 210, and the release member 230 and the engaging mechanism 240 can be linked with each other.
In the embodiment, the fastening mechanism 240 is closer to one side of the cover member 210 and can be used to be fixed to the case fastening hole 10a on one side of the case 10, and the other side of the cover member 210 farther from the fastening mechanism 240 can be provided with at least one fastening protrusion 217 for being fixed to the case fastening hole 10a on the other side of the case 10. Thus, the cover member 210 can be detachably assembled to the opening O of the box 10 by being fixed to the box fastening holes 10a on both sides of the box 10 through the fastening mechanism 240 and the fastening protrusions 217.
Furthermore, in the present embodiment, the cover member 210 may have a cover inner side 211, a cover outer side 212, at least one assembly plate 215, and the aforementioned engaging protrusion 217. The cover inner side 211 is a side of the cover 210 facing the inner space of the case 10 rather than being exposed to the outside when the cover 210 is assembled on the case 10, and the cover outer side 212 is another side of the cover 210 opposite to the cover inner side 211 and being exposed to the outside, and may form a partial appearance of the case 10.
The aforementioned release member 230 is slidably disposed on the cover outer side 212 of the cover member 210. The assembly plate portions 215 protrude inward from the cover inner side 211 of the cover member 210, and are adjacent to opposite sides of the cover member 210, respectively. One part of the engaging mechanism 240 is movably disposed on one of the assembling plate portions 215, and the other part is movably disposed on the cover inner side 211 of the cover member and can be linked by the releasing member 230. The engaging protrusion 217 is disposed on the other assembling plate 215.
Specifically, in the present embodiment, each of the assembly plate portions 215 has a joint surface 2151, and the assembly plate portion 215 provided with the engaging mechanism 240 further has at least one engaging hole 2153 formed on the joint surface 2151. The joint surface 2151 is a surface of the assembly plate 215 corresponding to the box engaging hole 10a of the box 10 and is used for abutting against the box 10, and may include, but is not limited to, at least one spring (not numbered) protruding thereon for abutting against the box 10 when the cover 210 is assembled to the box 10. The engaging protrusion 217 protrudes from the engaging surface 2151 of one of the assembling plate portions 215, and a portion of the engaging mechanism 240 movably protrudes from the engaging hole 2153 of the other engaging surface 2151.
As shown in the figure, when the cover member 210 is assembled to the box 10, the assembly plate portion 215 of the cover member 210 is disposed between the box clipping holes 10a of the box 10, and the joint surfaces 2151 of the assembly plate portion 215 face in opposite directions and respectively correspond to the box clipping holes 10a on both sides of the box 10, so that the engaging protrusion 217 and the engaging mechanism 240 on one of the assembly plate portions 215 protruding out of the engaging hole 2153 on the other assembly plate portion 215 are engaged with the box clipping holes 10a on both sides of the box 10.
Next, details of the engaging mechanism 240 will be described, in this embodiment, the engaging mechanism 240 may at least include an engaging member 241 and a link member 243.
The engaging member 241 is slidably disposed on the assembling plate 215 and located on the cover inner side 211 of the cover 210. Specifically, in the present embodiment, the engaging member 241 may have a plate portion 2410, at least one hook 2411 extending from the plate portion 2410, and a connecting portion 2413, wherein the connecting portion 2413 is slidably disposed through a first assembling hole 2155 of the assembling plate portion 215, and the hooks 2411 are slidably disposed through the engaging holes 2153 of the assembling plate portion 215, respectively. In terms of arrangement, the first assembly holes 2155 are interposed between the engagement holes 2153, that is, the connection portion 2413 is interposed between the hooks 2411. It should be noted that the hook 2411 is not limited to the form illustrated in the drawings, and in other embodiments, may be modified into other forms suitable for being inserted into the engaging hole 2153 according to the requirement.
The link 243 is movably disposed on the cover inner side 211 of the cover member 210 and movably connected to the connecting portion 2413 of the engaging member 241 to interlock the engaging member 241. Specifically, in the embodiment, the link member 243 is slightly elongated and may include a pivot portion 2431, a pushed portion 2433 and a pushing portion 2435 connected between the pivot portion 2431 and the pushed portion 2433, the pivot portion 2431 is pivotally fixed to the inner side 211 of the cover plate 210, so that the link member 243 can rotate relative to the cover plate 210 with an axis AX of the pivot portion 2431 as a pivot center, the pushing portion 2435 is movably connected to the connecting portion 2413 of the engaging member 241 and can be linked with the engaging member 241, and the pushed portion 2433 is movably connected to the releasing member 230 located at the outer side 212 of the cover plate 210 through a first through hole 218 of the cover plate 210 and can be linked with the releasing member 230. Under this configuration, the release member 230 can drive the link member 243 to rotate relative to the cover member 210, and drive the engaging member 241 connected to the link member 243 to slide relative to the cover member 210. As shown in the figure, in the present embodiment, the engaging element 241 is slidably located between the pivot portion 2431 of the link 243 and the releasing element 230.
In addition, in the present embodiment, the engaging mechanism 240 may further include a guiding element 245 and a resetting element 247. The guide 245 may include a body 2450 and at least one guide post 2451 extending from the body 2450. The block portion 2450 and the plate portion 2410 of the engaging piece 241 are respectively located on opposite sides of the assembly plate portion 215, and the assembly plate portion 215 may be said to be interposed between the block portion 2450 of the guide 245 and the plate portion 2410 of the engaging piece 241. The guiding posts 2451 are movably inserted into the second assembling holes 2157 of the assembling plate 215, and the ends of the guiding posts 2451 are fixed to the plate 2410 of the engaging member 241, or the guiding posts 2451 are movably inserted into the assembling plate 215 and connected between the block 2450 of the guiding member 245 and the plate 2410 of the engaging member 241. Thus, when the engaging member 241 slides on the assembly plate 215, the guiding post 2451 of the guiding member 245 helps to maintain the engaging member 241 on the predetermined moving path, and has a guiding function for the engaging member 241.
The reset element 247 may be, but not limited to, a compression spring (compression spring), and the reset element 247 may be clamped between the engaging surface 2151 of the assembling plate 215 and the block 2450 of the guiding element 245, so as to push the block 2450 away from the engaging surface 2151, and further drive the plate 2410 of the engaging element 241 toward the assembling plate 215 through the guiding column 2451, that is, drive the hook 2411 of the engaging element 241 to engage with the engaging hole 2153 of the assembling plate 215. As can be understood from the above-mentioned mutual linkage mechanism, the reset element 247 may also drive the pushing portion 2435 of the link element 243 linked with the engaging element 241 to move relative to the cover element 210, so as to drive the link element 243 to rotate relative to the cover element 210 and drive the release element 230 connected to the link element 243 to slide relative to the cover element 210.
The operation can be understood by referring to fig. 5-6 in addition to fig. 3-4, wherein fig. 5 is a schematic operation diagram of the cover plate assembly 20, and fig. 6 is a partially enlarged top view of the cover plate assembly 20 of fig. 5. First, when the cover assembly 20 is to be removed from the box 10, the releasing member 230 is pressed (as shown by arrow a1 in fig. 3 and 5), and at this time, the pushed portion 2433 of the link member 243 linked with the releasing member 230 slides in the direction of arrow a1 with respect to the cover member 210 along with the releasing member 230. In the process, the link 243 swings toward the assembly board 215, and the pushing portion 2435 can push the connected engaging element 241 toward the arrow a1, so that the releasing element 230 and the engaging element 241 slide in substantially the same direction, and the sliding direction of the releasing element 230 is substantially parallel to the sliding direction of the engaging element 241, so that the hook 2411 of the engaging element 241 does not protrude from one end of the engaging hole 2153 of the assembly board 215 close to the engaging surface 2151, wherein the guiding column 2451 of the guiding element 245 can maintain and guide the engaging element 241 to slide at the arrow a 1.
By this operation, the hook 2411 of the engaging member 241 can be withdrawn from the box body engaging hole 10a of the box body 10, so that one side of the cover plate assembly 20 can be separated from the box body 10 in the direction of arrow a2 shown in fig. 1, which enables the other side of the cover plate assembly 20 to be engaged with the box body engaging hole 10a only through the engaging protrusion 217 of the cover plate member 210, so that the user can then take the cover plate assembly 20 off the box body 10, and the detaching operation of the cover plate assembly 20 can be completed.
On the contrary, when the cover assembly 20 is to be assembled to the box 10, the above steps can be reversed. For example, the user may first abut one side of the cover member 210 having the engaging protrusion 217 against one side of the box 10, and the engaging protrusion 217 is first engaged with the box engaging hole 10a on one side of the box 10, and then the user may directly push the other side of the cover member 210 toward the opening O of the box 10 along a direction opposite to the arrow a2 (as shown by the arrow a2' in fig. 1). In the process, the guiding inclined surface 24111 on the hook 2411 of the engaging member 241 is pressed by the box 10 to force the hook 2411 to move away from the joint surface 2151 to a degree not protruding from one end of the engaging hole 2153 close to the joint surface 2151, so that the cover member 210 returns to the position covering the opening O. At this time, the case body locking hole 10a of the case body 10 corresponds to the locking hole 2153 of the assembly plate portion 215, and the reset piece 247 drives the hook 2411 of the locking piece 241 to reset in the direction opposite to the arrow a1 and to penetrate through the end of the locking hole 2153 of the assembly plate portion 215 close to the joint surface 2151 and to be locked in the case body locking hole 10a, that is, the cover plate assembly 20 can be fixed to the case body 10 by the locking protrusion 217 of the cover plate 210 and the hook 2411 of the locking mechanism 240 and cover the opening O of the case body 10.
It can be understood that, in the process that the reset element 247 drives the hook 2411 to be engaged with the box body engaging hole 10a, the reset element 247 may also drive the link element 243 linked with the engaging element 241 to swing away from the assembling plate 215, and drive the release element 230 connected with the link element 243 to reset in the direction opposite to the arrow a 1.
In this way, the above arrangement of the engaging mechanism 240 enables the releasing member 230 located at the corner of the cover member 210 to interlock with the engaging member 241 located at the middle region of the cover member 210, so as to smoothly assemble/disassemble the cover assembly 20 while matching with the installation position of the releasing member 230.
In addition, referring to fig. 2, in the present embodiment, the cover assembly 20 may further include a mechanism cover 250, and the mechanism cover 250 may be assembled on the cover member 210 to cover most of the components of the engaging mechanism 240. However, the mechanism cover 250 may be optional, and the present invention is not limited thereto.
Above, it is only one of the implementation modes of the cover plate assembly of the present invention, but the present invention is not limited thereto. For example, referring to fig. 7 to 9, another embodiment of the present invention provides a case 1' including a cover plate assembly 20' that is also applicable to the case 10, and it should be noted that, for the purpose of brevity, only the differences between the cover plate assembly 20' of the present embodiment and the cover plate assembly of the previous embodiment are described below, and the same or similar contents can be understood by referring to the foregoing contents, and will not be described herein again, and the same or similar components will be denoted by the same or similar reference numerals.

Under this configuration, when the cover assembly 20 'is to be removed, the release member 230' is pushed (or moved) by the arrow a1', and the pushed portion 2433' of the link member 243 'linked with the release member 230' slides in the direction of the arrow a1 'together with the release member 230'. In the process, the link 243' swings away from the assembly plate 215, but the pushing portion 2435' can push the connected engaging element 241 in the direction of the arrow a1, that is, in the present embodiment, the releasing element 230' and the engaging element 241 slide in substantially opposite directions, but the operation of making the hook 2411 of the engaging element 241 withdraw from the box body locking hole 10a of the box body 10 as described in the previous embodiments can also be completed.
By the utility model discloses the apron subassembly that aforementioned embodiment discloses and quick-witted case including it, because release on the apron piece can be located the fastener on the apron piece equally via the connecting rod spare interlock of block mechanism, consequently can be at the release according to the outward appearance visual effect of apron piece and select to set up under the condition of required position, ensure to be located the fastener of other positions of apron piece by the interlock to can reach the mesh of smoothly assembling/taking off the apron subassembly when the position that sets up of cooperation release.
