Detailed Description
As shown in fig. 1, an operation opening 3 is opened in an outer panel 1a of a door 1, an operation space 2 is set in the door 1, and the operation space 2 communicates with a space outside the vehicle via the operation opening 3.
The vehicle door opening/closing operation device includes a base 15, a cover 5 rotatably coupled to a bearing piece 15a formed on the base 15, and a driving portion 14, and the base 15 is fixed to the door 1 by an appropriate method.
The door operating portion 4 is disposed at the upper end edge portion of the base 15. In this example, the door operating portion 4 is formed in a rod shape long in the front-rear direction, and is vertically and rotatably connected to the base body 15 via a rotating shaft 4 a.
In the present specification, the vehicle longitudinal direction, that is, the left-right direction in fig. 1 (a), is referred to as the "front-rear direction", the vehicle lateral direction (left side in fig. 1 (b)) is referred to as the "front direction", and the vehicle interior direction is referred to as the "rear direction", with reference to the state of being mounted on the vehicle.
The door operating portion 4 is rotatable from an initial rotational position shown in fig. 1b to an operation rotational position rotated counterclockwise in fig. 1b (see fig. 6 b), and is biased toward the initial rotational position by a torsion spring 4 b.
As shown in fig. 1 (b), the door operating portion 4 is positioned at the top of the operating space 2 in a state of being coupled to the base body 15, and a recess 4c is formed in the longitudinal direction on the lower surface to facilitate the pressing operation with a finger.
Further, a coupling projection 4d is provided projecting from the rear surface side at the central portion in the front-rear direction of the door operating portion 4, and a coupling portion 4e to which the latch transmission member 16 is coupled is formed at the free end portion of the coupling projection 4 d. In this example, a cable device is used as the latch transmission member 16, the cable device having an inner cable 16b movably inserted into an outer cable 16a fixed to the base 15, one end of the inner cable 16b being connected to the connecting portion 4e, and the other end being connected to a latch release portion 11a of the door latch device 11 fixed to the door 1 for maintaining the closed state of the door 1.
Therefore, in this example, the door operation unit 4 is pushed in the rear direction, the coupling unit 4e is moved upward, the latch release unit 11a of the door latch device 11 can be operated to release the latch, and in this state, the door 1 can be opened by holding the door operation unit 4 with a hand and pulling it forward.
In the above, the door operating portion 4 is formed in a rod shape, but may be formed of a raised portion for a handle in addition to the rod-shaped portion. In this case, after the latch of the door latch device 11 is released by operating the lever-shaped portion, a finger can be placed on the knob for the handle to apply an opening operation force to the door 1.
In the present example, the cable device is used for the latch transmission member 16, but a latch lever or the like may be used.
On the other hand, as shown in fig. 3, the cover 5 includes a plate portion 5a and leg portions 5b projecting from the rear surfaces of both front and rear end portions of the plate portion 5 a. A capacitive sensor as an authentication start switch 10 is fixed to the plate portion 5a over substantially the entire length in the longitudinal direction.
The free end of the leg portion 5b is bent to the back surface side to form an "く" shape, the bent portion is formed with an insertion hole 5d of the rotating shaft 5c connected to the cover 5, and the tip of the leg portion 5b is formed with a connecting projection 5 e. In this example, the coupling projection 5e is formed as a rod body spanning between the opposed legs 5 b.
The cover 5 formed as described above is rotatable between the closing position shown in fig. 1b and the opening position (see fig. 6) rotated clockwise in fig. 1b about the rotation axis, and is biased toward the closing position by the torsion spring 17.
As shown in fig. 1 (a), the cover 5 closes the operation opening 3 at the closing position. Ideally: the plate portion 5a is flush with the panel surface on the periphery of the operation opening 3 in the closed position so that the plate portion 5a does not protrude from the surface of the door 1 when the cover 5 is in the closed position.
The driving unit 14 includes an electric actuator 6 for driving the cover 5, a cam member 18 driven by the electric actuator 6, and a cam follower 19 driven in the vertical direction by the cam member 18, and the driving unit 14 is accommodated in a housing 14a fixed to the base 15. In this example, a motor is used as the electric actuator 6.
As shown in fig. 4 and 5, the cam member 18 includes a gear portion 18a at one end thereof, is rotatably coupled to the housing 14a, and is rotationally driven by meshing the gear portion 18a with a gear or a gear train, not shown, fixed to a rotation shaft of the motor. Further, the cam member 18 is provided with a cam portion 18b at an end opposite to the gear portion 18a, and a switch pressing portion 18c is provided at an intermediate portion of the cam portion 18 b. The cam portion 18b is formed in an arc shape protruding from the surface side wall surface of the cam member 18.
The cam follower 19 includes a U-shaped cover locking portion 19a at an upper end thereof and a spring support rod 19b at a lower end thereof, is disposed so as to cover the cam member 18 from the back side thereof, and is held in the housing 14a so as to be movable up and down. In order to allow the vertical movement of the cam follower 19 relative to the cam member 18, a vertically long, elongated insertion hole 19c is opened in the cam follower 19, and a rotation center protrusion 18d of the cam member 18 is inserted therethrough (see fig. 4).
The cam follower 19 is coupled to the cover body 5 by locking the cover locking portion 19a to the coupling projection 5e of the cover body 5, and is biased upward by a compression spring 20 wound around the spring support rod 19b, the upper end of which abuts on the base end of the spring support rod 19b, and the lower end of which abuts on the guide hole 14b of the housing 14a (see fig. 1 (b)).
As shown in fig. 5, the cam follower 19 is formed with a cam support portion 19d corresponding to the cam portion 18b of the cam member 18, and the cam support portion 19d is pressed against the cam portion 18b of the cover 5 by the compression spring 20.
Therefore, in this example, when the cam member 18 is rotationally driven clockwise in fig. 4 by the electric actuator 6, the cam portion 18b abuts on the cam support portion 19d of the cam follower 19, and then the cam follower 19 is moved downward against the reaction force of the compression spring 20. As the cam follower 19 moves downward, the coupling projection 5e of the cover 5 is pulled downward, and as a result, the cover 5 is rotationally driven clockwise in fig. 1 (b) about the rotational center, that is, in the direction of the open position, and stops at the open position.
A state detector 21 is formed in the housing 14a of the drive unit 14. The state detector 21 is composed of an initial position detection switch 21a, an on detection switch 21b, and a push-in operation detection switch 7, each of which is formed of a micro switch, and the state detector 21 detects the rotational position of the cam member 18 by being pushed down by the switch pushing portion 18c of the cam member 18 to perform a switching operation.
That is, as shown in fig. 7 (a), when the cover 5 is at the closing position, the cam member 18 is not rotationally driven, and in this state, only the initial position detection switch 21a is in the on state, and the open detection switch 21b and the pushing operation detection switch 7 are in the OFF (OFF) state. As shown in fig. 7 (b), when the cover 5 is driven from this state to the open position by the cam, the initial position detection switch 21a is turned off, the open detection switch 21b is turned on, and the press-in operation detection switch 7 is kept in the off state.
As shown in fig. 5 (b), the force transmission from the cam member 18 to the cam follower 19 that drives the cover 5 is achieved by contact transmission in which the cam portion 18b of the cam member 18 presses the cam support portion 19d of the cam follower 19, and therefore independent movement of the cam follower 19 with respect to the pressing direction of the cam member 18 (the direction of arrow F in fig. 5 (b)) is permitted.
As a result, in the state of fig. 7 (b), that is, after the cover 5 is driven to the open position, the cover 5 can be pushed inward the door 1 without being subjected to resistance by the cam member 18, and when the cover 5 is further manually pushed and rotated beyond the open position, the coupling projection 5e of the cover 5 moves downward, and the push-in operation detection switch 7 moves to the on state.
The cylinder lock 12 is fixed to the base body 15. The cylinder lock 12 is capable of rotating the plug, not shown, by a real unlocking key, and as shown in fig. 6, the cylinder lock 12 is disposed at a position where the unlocking key can be inserted into the head portion in a state where the cover body 5 is rotated to the open position, and in this example, is disposed so that the head portion is positioned on the side wall portion of the operation space 2.
As shown in fig. 9, the cylinder lock 12 can manually operate the locking/unlocking operation portion 11b and the latch release portion 11a of the door latch device 11 by an appropriate operation force transmission means 12a such as a lever or a cable device, and first, the plug of the cylinder lock 12 is rotated to move to the unlocked state and release the latch, and thereafter, in a state where the unlocking key is inserted, an operation force for opening the door 1 is applied to the unlocking key, whereby the door 1 can be opened.
The vehicle door opening/closing operation device includes a control unit 8. As shown in fig. 9, the control unit 8 includes a CPU8a and a memory 8b as components, and operates the authentication unit 13, the actuator 6 for driving the cover 5, and the actuator 22 for locking and unlocking the latch in a predetermined order. The control unit 8 refers to an output from the state monitoring unit 23 that detects the locked/unlocked state of the door 1, for example, when controlling the above-described units.
Hereinafter, the operation of the vehicle door opening/closing operation device will be described with reference to fig. 9. First, when the user touches cover 5 in the closed state while riding in the vehicle, capacitive sensor as authentication start switch 10 detects the touch, and control unit 8 that senses the touch outputs an authentication start command to authentication unit 13. The control unit 8 that has received the authentication start command waits for receiving the authentication code from the electronic key 9 after the authentication unit 13 is activated and the authentication code output request signal is output from the authentication unit 13 to the electronic key 9 held by the user, and when the authentication of the authentication code from the electronic key 9 is established, the control unit 8 drives the actuator 6 for driving the cover 5 to move the cover 5 to the open position and drives the actuator 22 for locking and unlocking the latch to unlock the latch device 11.
In the present example, although the case where the authentication in the authentication unit 13 is started by touching the authentication start switch 10 is shown, it is also possible to output an activation signal from the electronic key 9 held by the user, that is, to output the authentication code without waiting for an authentication code output request from the authentication unit 13.
In this state, when the user operates the door operating portion 4, the latch of the latch device 11 is released, and then the door 1 is rotated by pulling the door operating portion 4, so that the door 1 can be opened.
As described above, when the door 1 is opened and the vehicle enters, the operation of the shift lever or the locking operation of the inside handle is performed, the state monitoring unit 23 senses that the open detection switch 21b of the state detecting unit 21 is on, and the control unit 8 drives the actuator 6 for driving the cover 5 to the closed position side. The cover 5 biased to the closing position by the torsion spring 17 is released from its support by the driving of the actuator 6, and moves to the closing position by the biasing force, thereby closing the operation opening 3.
On the other hand, when the user gets off the vehicle, when the state monitoring unit 23 detects an operation to the inside handle or an unlocking operation to the inside handle, the control unit 8 drives the actuator 6 for driving the cover 5 to move the cover 5 to the open position on condition that the initial position detection switch 21a of the state detection unit 21 is turned on.
When the user gets off the vehicle and pushes the cover 5 further into the door 1 from the open position, the push-in operation detection switch 7 is turned on as described above, and the controller 8 that detects this turns on the latch lock/unlock actuator 22 to shift the door latch device 11 to the locked state. When the change of the press-in operation detection switch 7 to the on state is sensed, the control unit 8 starts a timer, not shown, to start a timer operation, and after a predetermined set time has elapsed, operates the actuator 6 for driving the cover 5 to move the cover 5 to the closing position.
As described above, by delaying the timing of movement of the cover 5 in the closing direction for a predetermined time (about 1 to 2 seconds) after the locking operation, the time for pulling out the hand from the operation opening 3 is ensured, and the collision between the hand and the cover 5 can be reliably prevented.
Note that the locking operation can be performed not by the operation of the cover 5 but by the activation signal from the electronic key 9, and when the locking operation is performed only by the remote controller operation using the electronic key 9, the configuration may be such that: even if the inside handle is operated from the indoor side, the opening operation of the cover 5 is not performed, and only the locking operation by the remote controller operation is waited for.
For example, when the battery of the electronic key 9 dedicated to the activation operation runs out, as described above, regardless of the position of the cam portion 18b of the cam member 18, as shown in fig. 8, the cover 5 is allowed to be pushed inward, and in this state, the lock/unlock operation portion 11b and the latch release portion 11a of the door latch device 11 are manually operated by inserting the unlock key into the cylinder lock 12, whereby the door 1 can be opened, and after entering the vehicle, the state transition of the state monitoring portion 23 caused by the normal operation of the shift lever or the like in the vehicle is triggered (trigger), whereby the actuator 6 for driving the cover 5 is operated, and the cover 5 is closed.
