The electric control box 800 is disposed in the outdoor side housing 400 of the outdoor side assembly 13, so that there is no need to reserve an installation space of the electric control box 800 on the indoor side housing 122, and thus the volume of the indoor side housing 122 can be reduced, and the requirement of the window type air conditioner 10 on the installation space of the indoor side can be reduced.
The specific structure of the outdoor side assembly 13 will be described in detail below.
In the present embodiment, the outdoor side housing 400 of the outdoor side assembly 13 includes a top cover 410 and an air outlet portion 432. The top cover 410 is an air inlet plate, and the air inlet plate is provided with an outdoor air inlet 402. The air outlet portion 432 is provided with an outdoor air outlet 404.
The top cover 410 includes a first portion 410a and a second portion 410 b. The dashed line X in the illustrated embodiment is the location of the interface between the first portion 410a and the second portion 410 b. The first portion 410a and the second portion 410b are arranged along the axial direction of the outdoor fan 500, and the first portion 410a is closer to the air outlet portion 432 than the second portion 410 b. In the present embodiment, the outdoor fan 500 is an axial fan. The axial direction of the outdoor fan 500 is the arrangement direction from the outdoor side assembly 13 to the indoor side assembly 12, i.e., the front-rear direction in the illustrated embodiment. The air outlet portion 432 is located at a side of the outdoor side housing 400 away from the indoor side assembly 12, that is, the air outlet portion 432 is located at a front side of the outdoor side housing 400. In other embodiments, the axial direction of the outdoor fan 500 may be left and right, and in this case, the air outlet part 432 is located on the left or right side of the outdoor housing 400.
In this embodiment, the second portion 410b includes a fan protection area 412 and an air intake area 414. The fan guard area 412 is directly connected to the first portion 410a, i.e., the fan guard area 412 is formed by the first portion 410a and the second portion 410b at the interface extending toward the second portion 410 b. In the illustrated embodiment, the fan protection area 412 is an area enclosed by the dotted line X and the elongated air inlet holes 402a and 402 b. The outdoor side air inlet 402 is located in the air inlet area 414, and the outdoor side air inlet 402 includes a plurality of elongated air inlet holes 402a and 402 b. In the illustrated embodiment, the area where the elongated air inlet openings 402a and 402b are located is the air inlet area 414.
An air intake area 414 is disposed around the fan guard area 412. The air inlet area 414 may completely surround the fan protection area 412 and be located at the boundary of the second portion 410b, or may partially surround the fan protection area 412 and be located at the boundary of the second portion 410 b. The air intake area 414 can surround at least one corner of the fan protection area 412, so that the air intake area 414 has a turn, and thus the air intake area 414 has strip-shaped air intake holes 4142 with different lengths. For example, in the illustrated embodiment, the fan guard area 412 is square, the fan guard area 412 is located on three sides of the second portion 410b that are connected in sequence, and the air intake area 414 completely surrounds the fan guard area 412 and is located on the boundary of the second portion 410 b. In other embodiments, the air intake area 414 can be located adjacent to and on either side of the second portion 410b around the fan guard area 412.
The air inlet area 414 is disposed around the fan protection area 412, so that the air inlet area 414 has air inlet holes 402a and 402b with different lengths, the air inlet holes 402a with longer lengths can increase the air inlet amount, so that the window air conditioner 10 has higher energy efficiency, and the air inlet holes 402a with shorter lengths can provide a space for the fan protection area 412, thereby effectively protecting the outdoor side fan 500.
In this embodiment, it can be considered that the outdoor side intake opening 402 includes a plurality of primary intake openings 402a, and the plurality of primary intake openings 402a are arranged in parallel and spaced apart in the left-right direction and define the second portion 410 b. The fan guard area 412 allows portions of the original air inlet openings 402a to be shortened in length to become fresh air inlet openings 402 b. In other embodiments, a plurality of primary air openings 402a are spaced apart in a front-to-back direction and define a second portion 410b, and the fan guard area 412 divides a portion of the primary air openings 402a into two fresh air openings.
The fan protection area 412 is used to shield the outdoor fan 500 in the vertical direction, so as to prevent outdoor impurities from directly falling on the outdoor fan 500. Thus, when the outdoor fan 500 is operated at a high speed, the probability of mechanical damage due to foreign matter such as dust and sand directly falling on the outdoor fan 500 can be effectively reduced, and the outdoor fan 500 can be effectively protected. Of course, the probability of problems such as circuit failure due to direct landing of debris such as rainwater on the outdoor fan 500 can be effectively reduced.
In this embodiment, the outdoor-side assembly 14 further includes a back panel 900. The back panel 900 is disposed in the outdoor side housing 400 between the outdoor side fan 500 and the air outlet portion 432, and the outdoor side heat exchanger 600 is disposed between the back panel 900 and the air outlet portion 423. The back panel 900 defines an airflow channel 902 to guide airflow generated by the outdoor side fan 500. The back panel 900 remote from the air outlet portion 432 defines a first portion 410a and a second portion 410b, i.e., the back panel 900 remote from the air outlet portion 432 is approximately the interface of the first portion 410a and the second portion 410 b.
In practical applications, the back panel 900 shields the air inlet holes 4142 above the top of the back panel 900, and the air inlet holes 4142 above the top of the back panel 900 provide little contribution to the amount of air entering, so that the end surface of the back panel 900 away from the air outlet portion 432 serves as the interface between the first portion 410a and the second portion 410 b.
In the present embodiment, the outdoor side fan 500 includes a motor 510 and a wind wheel 520. Wind wheel 520 includes an associated hub 522 and blades 524. The hub 522 is sleeved on the output shaft 512 of the motor 510. During rotation of wind wheel 520, fan guard 412 can be aligned with fan blades 524.
During the rotation of the wind wheel 520, if debris such as sand and dust directly fall on the blades 524, the blades 524 may be damaged mechanically. The fan protection area 412 opposite to the fan blades 524 is arranged, so that the probability of mechanical damage caused by the fact that sundries such as sand and dust directly fall on the fan blades 524 can be effectively reduced, and the fan blades 524 are effectively protected.
In some embodiments, the fan blades 524 are connected to the hub 522 at one end and extend into the airflow passage 902 at the other end. During rotation of wind wheel 520, fan guard 412 can be aligned with the end of blades 524 adjacent to hub 522. Therefore, the fan blades 524 can be protected more effectively.
In some embodiments, hub 522 is at least partially outside of airflow passage 902. A projection of the side of the fan guard area 412 remote from the first portion 410a towards the hub 522 is located on the hub 522. That is, in this embodiment, the fan guard area 412 may cover the fan blades 524, and may also cover at least a portion of the hub 522. Therefore, the fan blades 524 can be protected more effectively.
In other embodiments, hub 522 and blades 524 of rotor 520 are positioned entirely within airflow passage 902, and fan guard 412 is aligned with motor 510. At this time, the fan guard 412 mainly shields the motor 510.
In this embodiment, the outdoor side assembly 13 further includes a blower mount 910 disposed inside the outdoor side housing 400. Fan bracket 910 includes a mount 912 and a support bar 914. The motor 510 is arranged on the mounting seat 912, and the mounting seat 912 not only can fix the motor 510, but also can protect the motor 510 and prevent the motor 510 from being influenced by outdoor sundries. One end of the support bar 914 is connected to the mounting base 912 and the other end is connected to the back panel 900. The support bar 914 is arranged to facilitate the outdoor fan 500 to be firmly fixed. In some embodiments, mount 912, support bar 914, and back panel 900 are integrally formed.
The supporting rods 914 are multiple, and the multiple supporting rods 914 are arranged at intervals around the axial direction of the outdoor fan 500. Fan guard 412 is located between two adjacent support bars 914. Thus, the fan protection area 412 and the support bar 914 can be prevented from interfering with each other. Specifically, in the present embodiment, there are two support rods 914.

The terminal protection region 416 is directly connected to the third portion 410 c. The air intake area 414 is disposed around the terminal protection area 416. The placement of the air intake area 414 around the terminal protection area 416 is substantially the same design concept as the placement of the air intake area 414 around the fan protection area 412, and will not be described in detail herein.
The wiring protection region 416 shields the wires in the up-down direction to prevent outdoor impurities from directly falling on the wires. Therefore, the problem that outdoor rainwater and other sundries directly fall on the conducting wire to cause poor electrical property can be effectively avoided. Specifically, the terminal protection region 416 shields the G in fig. 12.
In this embodiment, a projection of the side of the second portion 410b close to the air outlet 432 toward the electrical control box 800 is located on the electrical control box 800, that is, an interface between the second portion 410b and the third portion 410c passes through the electrical control box 800, that is, the dotted line Y may fall on the electrical control box 800. In this manner, portions of intake vent 402a and intake vent 40b may be located on electrical box 800 such that airflow from top cover 410 into outdoor housing 400 may dissipate heat from electrical box 800.
In this embodiment, top cover 410 is screwed to the top of electrical control box 800. Thus, the top cover 410 is firmly fixed, and the electronic control box 800 can be prevented from shaking.

The dashed line Z in the illustrated embodiment is the location of the fourth portion 410d at the interface with the first portion 410a, the second portion 410b, and the third portion 410 c. The fourth portion 410d shields the compressor 700 in the up-down direction. In this embodiment, the dotted line Z is the position of the fourth portion 410d at the interface with the air intake area 414.
As shown in fig. 9 and 10, the fourth portion 410d includes a compressor protection zone 418 and a reference zone 419 at the periphery of the compressor protection zone 418. The compressor protection zone 418 is directly opposite the top of the compressor 700. The inner side of compressor guard area 418 is recessed outward to form guard groove 4182 and boss 4184 is formed at compressor guard area 418 to protrude outward of datum area 419. The distance between the groove bottom of the protection groove 4182 and the top of the compressor 700 is greater than the distance between the inner side of the reference region 418 and the top of the compressor 700 to protect the compressor 700 when the head cover 410 is collided. The top of the compressor 700 refers to a location where the highest point of the compressor 700 is located. Before the window type air conditioner 10 leaves the factory, it needs to go through the anti-falling experiment, in the anti-falling experiment, when the top cover 410 is collided, the boss 4184 and the protection groove 4182 can effectively prevent the top of the compressor 700 from being damaged due to the collision.
In the present embodiment, the height of the protrusions 4184 protruding outside the reference regions 419 is 3-20 mm. Too high of a boss 4184 may affect the overall height of the window air conditioner 10, while too low of a boss 4184 may be undesirable for preventing damage to the top of the compressor 700 due to impact. For the above reasons, the height of the projection 4184 protruding outside the reference region 419 is set to 3 to 20 mm.
The above is only the optional embodiment of the present invention, and not the scope of the present invention is limited thereby, all the equivalent structure changes made by the contents of the specification and the drawings are utilized under the inventive concept of the present invention, or the direct/indirect application in other related technical fields is included in the patent protection scope of the present invention.
