8. A decorative trim assembly according to claim 7 wherein the light emitting component further comprises a light guide strip, the light guide strip being disposed on the carrier, the light emitting element being disposed at an end of one end of the light guide strip.

A decorative piece assembly as defined in claim 8, wherein the light emitting element further comprises a reflective layer attached to a side of the bracket adjacent the light guide strip and a light transmissive layer attached to a side of the light guide strip adjacent the decorative piece skeleton.
10. A vehicle provided with a trim assembly according to any of claims 1 to 9.
