Referring to fig. 1 to 8, the connector 100 includes a housing 10 and a conductive elastic piece 30 accommodated in the housing 10.
The housing 10 includes a first case 11 and a second case 13. The first housing 11 is provided with a receiving groove 110. The second housing 13 includes a first end 131 and a second end 133 opposite to the first end 131. The first end 131 is rotatably connected to the first housing 11, and the second end 133 is detachably connected to the first housing 11 so that the second end 133 can be engaged with or disengaged from the first housing 11.
The housing 10 is further provided with a slot 15 communicating with the receiving slot 110 for receiving an object (not shown) to be connected. In some embodiments, referring to fig. 1 and 5, the slot 15 is disposed on the first housing 11 and is communicated with the receiving slot 110. In other embodiments, the slot 15 may be disposed on the second housing 13.
The conductive elastic piece 30 is fixed to the first housing 11 and located in the receiving slot 110, and when the second end 133 is engaged with the first housing 11, the conductive elastic piece 30 and the second housing 13 cooperate to clamp the object to be connected.
In some embodiments, when the second end 133 is engaged with the first housing 11, the conductive elastic piece 30 is in contact with the second housing 13. The first end 131 of the second housing 13 is provided with a rotating shaft 132, and the rotating shaft 132 is rotatably disposed in the connecting hole 115. A retaining portion 134 is disposed on the second end 133 of the second housing 13, and the retaining portion 134 is disposed corresponding to the slot 117, so as to cooperate with the slot 117 to detachably fix the second end 133 to the first housing 11.
The conductive elastic sheet 30 includes a body 31 and a fixing portion 33 connected to the body 31. In the present embodiment, the fixing portions 33 are connected to opposite sides of the body 31. The fixing portion 33 is clamped between the base 111 and the side plate 113 to fix the conductive elastic sheet 30 to the first housing 11.
The body 31 comprises protrusions 310 and recesses 313, and the protrusions 310 and the recesses 313 are alternately arranged, so that the body 31 is wavy, and the elasticity of the body 31 is increased, thereby facilitating the clamping of the to-be-connected object in cooperation with the second housing 13. In some embodiments, the highest position of each protrusion 310 is planar, so as to increase the contact area with the to-be-connected object when the to-be-connected object is clamped with the second housing 13, and improve the firmness of the connection. In some embodiments, at least one dividing groove 315 is formed on the body 31, and each dividing groove 315 connects two opposite fixing portions 33, so as to cooperate with the second housing 13 to clamp an object to be connected with uneven thickness/irregular shape.
In some embodiments, referring to fig. 2 and fig. 4, an opening 118 is further formed on the first housing 11, and the opening 118 is communicated with the receiving groove 110. The conductive elastic sheet 30 further includes a connecting portion 35 connected to the body 31, and the connecting portion 35 is disposed corresponding to the opening 118 so as to be electrically connected to other electronic components.
The connecting portion 35 includes a clamping end 351 for clamping the connecting end of the other electronic component when connecting the other electronic component, thereby ensuring the stability of the electrical connection.
In other embodiments, referring to fig. 6 and 8, the connecting portion 35 extends from a side of the fixing portion 33 away from the body 31 to an outer side of the housing 10, so that the connecting portion 35 is exposed outside the housing 10 to facilitate electrical connection with other electronic components. For example, the connecting portion 35 located outside the housing 10 is directly attached to or soldered to a connecting end of another electronic component.
In other embodiments, the connecting portion 35 may be omitted, and two elements to be electrically connected are electrically connected by the conductive elastic sheet 30 and the second housing 13.
In some embodiments, a side of the base 111 facing the receiving groove 110 is shaped like a boss, so as to support the body 31 when the conductive elastic piece 30 and the second shell 13 cooperate to clamp the object to be connected, thereby ensuring the clamping stability.
The connector 100 is applied to an electronic device (not shown), which can be, but not limited to, a mobile phone, a computer, an electric toy, etc., for connecting electronic components in the electronic device. For example, referring to fig. 9 and fig. 10, the electronic device includes a battery assembly 300, and the connector 100 is applied to the battery assembly 300. The battery assembly 300 further includes a cell main body 50 and a tab 51 connected to the cell main body 50. The tab 51 is clamped between the conductive elastic sheet 30 and the second housing 13. The electronic device further includes an external component (not shown), and the external component includes an electrical connection structure 61(62), and the electrical connection structure is connected to the conductive elastic sheet 30, so as to electrically connect the external component and the battery assembly 300. The electrical connection structure can be clamped between the conductive elastic sheet 30 and the second housing 13 to electrically connect the external component and the battery assembly 300, and can also be connected to the connection portion 35 to electrically connect the external component and the battery assembly 300.
In some embodiments, the electrical connection structure may be, but is not limited to, a connection terminal, a wire, a flexible circuit board, or the like.
The connector 100 of the application is through the second end 133 of the second shell 13 and the clamping or separation of the first shell 11, and is matched with the conductive elastic sheet 30 to realize the clamping or separation of the objects to be connected, and the connector 100 is simple in structure and convenient to operate. When the connector 100 is applied to a battery assembly to clamp the tabs, the tabs are easily separated from the connector, and subsequent replacement and later maintenance of the battery are facilitated.
