An electric excitation planet deceleration starter comprises a front cover (1), a one-way device assembly (2), a shifting fork (3), an electromagnetic switch (4), a stator assembly (5), an armature assembly (6), a brush carrier assembly (7) and a rear cover (8); the electromagnetic switch (4) comprises a main body (9), an armature (10), a return spring (11) and a pin shaft (12), and the stator assembly (5) comprises a shell (13), a magnetic pole (14), a stator coil (15), a magnetic pole screw (16) and a stator carbon brush (17); the method is characterized in that: the one-way clutch assembly (2) comprises a retainer ring (18), a retainer sleeve (19), a planet shaft (20), a one-way clutch (21), a clamping ring (22) and a speed reduction gear ring (23), wherein ribs (24) in interference fit with a front cover (1) spigot and a casing (13) spigot are arranged on the excircle of the speed reduction gear ring (23), a positioning boss (25) is further arranged on the speed reduction gear ring (23), and a groove matched with the positioning boss (25) is arranged on the spigot surface of the front cover (1); the front cover (1) and the shell (13) are pressed against the speed reduction gear ring and fixed together through a fastener; at least two positioning holes are formed in a brush frame bottom plate of the brush frame assembly (7), bosses corresponding to the positioning holes are arranged at the seam allowance of the rear cover (8), the positioning holes are sleeved on the bosses, and after a shell (13) of the stator and the rear cover (8) are assembled and fastened, the brush frame assembly (7) is fixed between the rear cover (8) and the stator; a pin shaft groove (26) is formed in one end, connected with the armature (10), of the shifting fork (3), and a pin shaft (12) is installed in the pin shaft groove (26) to fixedly install one end of the shifting fork (3) and the armature (10) together; a shifting fork boss (27) is arranged in the middle of the shifting fork (3), the shifting fork boss (27) on the shifting fork (3) is hinged in the front cover (1), and the other end of the shifting fork (3) is matched with the one-way device (21); one end of the planet shaft (20) is provided with a groove (28) for installing the check ring (18), and the check ring (18) is installed in the groove (28) to fix the stop sleeve (19).
