On the other hand, the door 5 includes a door hook 120. In the present embodiment, the door hook 120 is provided to protrude from the back surface of the door 5 at the free end of the door 5, that is, the end opposite to the end rotatably pivotally supported by the hinge portion 6. The end of the back surface of door 5 on which door hook 120 is provided faces door hook insertion hole 8 of washing machine main body 2 in a closed state where door 5 closes front surface opening 4. The door hook insertion hole 8 is a hole into which the door hook 120 is inserted when the front opening 4 is closed by the door 5.
As illustrated in fig. 3, the washing machine 1 mainly includes a claw portion 110 provided on the washing machine main body 2 side and a door hook 120 provided on the door 5 side, and constitutes a door locking structure 100 for locking the door 5 in a closed state where the door 5 closes the front opening 4. Next, a configuration example of the door lock structure 100 will be described in detail.
The pawl portion 110 is an example of a locking portion. As illustrated in fig. 4, the pawl portion 110 is configured such that a pawl-shaped protrusion 112 and a rotation shaft portion 113 are integrally provided on a pawl body portion 111 constituting a base thereof. The claw-like projection 112 extends from the claw body 111 while being gently curved. The rotation shaft 113 extends linearly. The claw-like projection 112 is gently curved along the circumferential direction of the rotation shaft 113.
As illustrated in fig. 3, the claw portion 110 is disposed in the back of the door hook insertion hole portion 8 in a state where the inner side surface of the gently curved claw-shaped protrusion 112 faces the rear side of the washing machine 1. Further, the nail part 110 is provided at the back of the door hook insertion hole part 8 to be rotatable about the rotation shaft part 113 in the directions of arrows R1 and R2. Further, a coil spring 9 is provided in the back of the door hook insertion hole portion 8. The coil spring 9 is an example of a biasing member, and biases the rotatable pawl portion 110 in the direction of the arrow R1. The pawl 110 thus biased rotates in the direction of the arrow R2 against the biasing force of the coil spring 9 in response to the pawl 110 being given an external force in the direction of the arrow R2. That is, the pawl portion 110 is provided so as not to be substantially allowed to rotate by the biasing force of the coil spring 9, but is configured so as to allow its rotation in accordance with an external force of a predetermined magnitude or more, that is, a force exceeding the biasing force of the coil spring 9.
In the present embodiment, an inclined wall portion 8a is provided at the entrance of the door hook insertion hole portion 8. In this case, the inclined wall portion 8a is provided in an inner portion of the entrance of the door hook insertion hole portion 8, which is on the front surface opening 4 side. The inclined wall portion 8a is inclined with respect to an insertion direction D1 in which the door hook 120 is inserted into the door hook insertion hole portion 8 and an extraction direction D2 in which the door hook is extracted from the door hook insertion hole portion 8, and is also inclined with respect to a direction perpendicular to an insertion direction D1 in which the door hook 120 is inserted into the door hook insertion hole portion 8 and an extraction direction D2 in which the door hook is extracted from the door hook insertion hole portion 8. Here, an insertion direction D1 in which the door hook 120 is inserted into the door hook insertion hole portion 8 and a removal direction D2 in which the door hook is removed from the door hook insertion hole portion 8 are directions along the front-rear direction of the washing machine 1. The direction perpendicular to the insertion direction D1 in which the door hook 120 is inserted into the door hook insertion hole 8 and the extraction direction D2 in which the door hook is extracted from the door hook insertion hole 8 is the direction along the left-right direction of the washing machine 1.
Further, a rear surface wall portion 8b is provided on the rear side of the inclined wall portion 8 a. The rear wall 8b is a wall perpendicular to the insertion direction D1 in which the door hook 120 is inserted into the door hook insertion hole 8 and the extraction direction D2 in which the door hook is extracted from the door hook insertion hole 8, in this case, the front-rear direction of the washing machine 1. The rear wall 8b is a wall parallel to the right and left directions of the washing machine 1 in this case, and is perpendicular to the insertion direction D1 in which the door hook 120 is inserted into the door hook insertion hole 8 and the extraction direction D2 in which the door hook is extracted from the door hook insertion hole 8.
As illustrated in fig. 5, the door hook 120 is configured to integrally include the door hook body 121 and the rotating shaft 122 with respect to the pawl 110 configured as described above. The door hook body 121 is an elongated rectangular shape as a whole. The door hook body 121 includes a projection 123 and a locking hole 124 at its distal end.
The protrusion 123 is an example of a contact preventing portion, and protrudes in a mountain shape from the distal end portion of the door hook body 121 in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the door hook body 121. In the present embodiment, a plurality of, in this case 2, projection portions 123 are provided, and they are provided in pairs with a predetermined gap between each other in the axial direction of the rotating shaft portion 122 at the tip end portion of the door hook body portion 121. Further, the plurality of projections 123 have the same shape as each other.
The surface on the tip end side of the protruding portion 123 is an inclined surface 123a inclined with respect to both the longitudinal direction of the door hook body 121 and the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the door hook body 121. The inclined surface 123a is an example of an insertion smooth portion for smoothly inserting the door hook 120 into the door hook insertion hole portion. The surface of the projecting portion 123 on the base end side also becomes an inclined surface 123b inclined with respect to both the longitudinal direction of the door hook body 121 and the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the door hook body 121. The inclined surface 123b is an example of a smooth extraction portion for smoothly extracting the door hook 120 from the door hook insertion hole portion.
In the present embodiment, the inclined surface 123a is inclined more gradually than the inclined surface 123b with respect to the longitudinal direction of the door hook body 121. That is, the inclined surface 123b is inclined at an angle substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the door hook body 121. In the present embodiment, the inclined surface 123a is longer than the inclined surface 123 b.
The locking hole 124 is an example of a locked portion, and penetrates through the front end portion of the door hook body 121 in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the door hook body 121. In the present embodiment, the locking hole 124 is provided between the 2 projections 123 and is opened in a substantially rectangular shape.
The rotation shaft 122 extends linearly. The base end portion of the door hook body 121 is connected to the one end side in the longitudinal direction of the rotating shaft 122. The axial direction of the pivot shaft 122 is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the hook body 121. A stepped portion 125 is provided in the middle portion of the door hook body 121, in this case, between the locking hole 124 and the rotation shaft 122. The step 125 is continuous with the locking hole 124.
As illustrated in fig. 3, the door hook 120 is provided to be rotatable in the directions of arrows R3 and R4 around the rotation shaft 122 at the right end of the door 5. A coil spring, not shown, is provided inside the door 5. The coil spring biases the rotatable door hook 120 in the direction of arrow R3. The door hook 120 thus biased rotates in the direction of arrow R4 against the biasing force of a coil spring, not shown, in response to the door handle 7 being operated by the user. Even in a state where the door handle 7 is not operated, the door hook 120 pivots in the direction of the arrow R4 in response to an external force applied to the door hook 120 in the direction of the arrow R4, that is, an urging force exceeding a coil spring, not shown.
Next, in the washing machine 1 including the door locking structure 100 configured as described above, a case where the front opening 4 is closed by the door 5, a case where the door 5 is opened by operating the door handle 7 to open the front opening 4, and a case where the door 5 is opened from the inside of the washing machine main body 2 to open the front opening 4 will be described.
(case where the front opening 4 is closed by the door 5)
As illustrated in fig. 6, in the process of rotating the door 5 in the closing direction to close the front opening 4, the front end portion of the door hook 120 on the door 5 side is gradually inserted into the door hook insertion hole portion 8 on the washing machine main body 2 side as the door 5 rotates in the closing direction. At this time, as the door hook 120 enters the door hook insertion hole 8, the inclined surface 123a of the projection 123 of the door hook 120 slides while coming into contact with the inclined wall 8a of the door hook insertion hole 8. Therefore, the projecting portion 123 of the door hook 120 is pressed by the inclined wall portion 8a of the door hook insertion hole portion 8, and accordingly, the door hook 120 is gradually rotated in the arrow R4 direction as illustrated in fig. 7. At this time, as the door hook 120 advances into the door hook insertion hole portion 8, the door hook 120 is largely rotated in the arrow R4 direction. That is, the door hook 120 is largely rotated toward the arrow R4 side by an amount corresponding to the amount of projection of the projection 123 from the side portion of the door hook body 121.
When the projection 123 of the door hook 120 enters the position rearward of the rear end portion of the inclined wall 8a of the door hook insertion hole 8 as the door 5 rotates in the closing direction, the pressing action of the inclined wall 8a of the door hook insertion hole 8 on the projection 123 of the door hook 120 is released, and the door hook 120 rotates in the direction of the arrow R3 by the biasing force of the coil spring on the door 5 side, not shown. As a result, as illustrated in fig. 8, the claw-like projection 112 of the claw portion 110 is locked in the locking hole portion 124 of the door hook 120, and the door 5 is locked in a closed state in which it closes the front opening 4.
At this time, the rear surface wall portion 8b of the inclined wall portion 8a of the door hook insertion hole portion 8 is locked to the inclined surface 123b of the projection portion 123 of the door hook 120. That is, the door 5 is locked by the rear surface wall portion 8b of the inclined wall portion 8a of the door hook insertion hole portion 8 being locked to the inclined surface 123b of the protrusion 123 of the door hook 120, in addition to being locked to the locking hole portion 124 of the door hook 120 by the claw-shaped protrusion 112 of the claw portion 110. Here, the claw-shaped protrusion 112 of the claw portion 110 is an example of the 1 st locking portion provided on the washing machine main body 2 side, and the locking hole portion 124 of the door hook 120 is an example of the 1 st locked portion provided on the door hook 120 side. The rear surface wall 8b of the inclined wall 8a of the door hook insertion hole 8 is an example of the 2 nd locking portion provided on the washing machine main body 2 side, and the inclined surface 123b of the projection 123 of the door hook 120 is an example of the 2 nd locked portion provided on the door hook 120 side.
As described above, in the process of the door 5 closing the front opening 4, the projection 123 of the door hook 120 abuts against the inclined wall portion 8a of the door hook insertion hole portion 8, and the door hook 120 is largely rotated in the arrow R4 direction. Thus, the protrusion 123 of the door hook 120 prevents the claw-shaped projection 112 of the claw portion 110 from coming into contact with the locking hole 124 of the door hook 120 while the door 5 is closing the front opening 4.
(case where the door 5 is opened by operating the door handle 7 to open the front opening 4.)
Although not shown in detail, the user operates the door handle 7 when opening the door 5. Then, the door hook 120 is turned in the arrow R4 direction in conjunction with the operation of the door handle 7, and the locked state in which the claw-shaped protrusion 112 of the claw portion 110 is locked in the locking hole portion 124 of the door hook 120 is released. Thereby, the locked state of the door 5 is released, and the user can open the front opening 4 by rotating the door 5 in the opening direction and opening the door 5.
(case where door 5 is opened from the inside of washing machine main body 2 to open front surface opening 4)
The washing machine 1 according to the present embodiment is configured to be able to open the door 5 from inside the washing machine main body 2 and open the front surface opening 4. To describe in detail, when a force of a predetermined magnitude is applied from the back surface of the door 5 to the door 5 that is aligned with and closes the front opening 4, as illustrated in fig. 9, an external force F1 is applied to the claw-like projection 112 of the claw 110 from the locking hole 124 of the door hook 120 that is to move in the pull-out direction D2 to rotate the claw 110 in the direction of the arrow R2.
Here, the biasing force of the coil spring 9 is basically a biasing force having a strength to maintain the claw-like projection 112 of the claw portion 110 in the locked state locked to the locking hole portion 124 of the door hook 120, and is a biasing force having a strength to allow the rotation in the direction of the arrow R2 when a force of a predetermined magnitude or more, in this case, 7000cN or more, is applied. Therefore, when a force of 7000cN or more in this case is applied to the back surface of the door 5 that closes the front opening 4, an external force F1 acts on the claw-shaped projection 112 of the claw 110 from the locking hole 124 of the door hook 120, and the claw 110 is rotated in the direction of the arrow R2. Thereby, the locking state in which the claw-shaped protrusion 112 of the claw portion 110 is locked to the locking hole portion 124 of the door hook 120 is released. Thereby, the locked state of the door 5 is released, and the door 5 can be opened by pushing the door 5 from the inside of the washing machine main body 2, so that the front opening 4 can be opened.
As illustrated in fig. 9, the washing machine 1 according to the present embodiment is configured such that: in the closed state where the door 5 closes the front opening 4, the axial center 122 of the rotating shaft portion 122 of the door hook 120 is disposed at a position outside in the outer peripheral direction of the door 5 from the locking position P1 at which the claw-shaped protrusion 112 of the claw portion 110 is locked in the locking hole 124 of the door hook 120, in this case, at the right side of the washing machine 1. Therefore, when a force of a predetermined magnitude or more is applied to the back surface of the door 5 that is aligned with and closes the front opening 4, the reaction force applied from the claw-shaped projection 112 of the claw portion 110 to the locking hole 124 of the door hook 120, that is, the reaction force F2 of the external force F1 described above easily acts in the direction of the arrow R4 of the door hook 120, and the rotation of the door hook 120 in the direction of the arrow R4 can be promoted. Accordingly, the locked state in which the claw-shaped protrusion 112 of the claw portion 110 is locked to the locking hole 124 of the door hook 120 is released more easily by the rotation of the claw portion 110 in the arrow R2 direction and the rotation of the door hook 120 in the arrow R4 direction, and the door 5 can be opened more easily.
Further, in the process of opening the door 5, the door hook 120 is pulled out from the door hook insertion hole portion 8, and the inclined surface 123b of the projection portion 123 of the door hook 120 that is locked by the rear surface wall portion 8b of the inclined wall portion 8a of the door hook insertion hole portion 8 is inclined with respect to the rear surface wall portion 8b of the inclined wall portion 8a of the door hook insertion hole portion 8. Therefore, the door hook 120 can be smoothly pulled out from the door hook insertion hole portion 8. This makes it easier to release the locked state in which the rear surface wall portion 8b of the inclined wall portion 8a of the door hook insertion hole portion 8 is locked to the inclined surface 123b of the projection portion 123 of the door hook 120, and thus the door 5 can be opened more easily.
According to the washing machine 1 of the present embodiment, the protrusion 123 is provided on the side of the long rectangular door hook 120, and when the door 5 closes the front opening 4, the protrusion 123 largely rotates the door hook 120, thereby preventing the claw-shaped protrusion 112 of the claw 110 from coming into contact with the locking hole 124 of the door hook 120. According to this configuration, when the door hook 120, which has been largely rotated in the direction of the arrow R4 during the insertion into the door hook insertion hole 8, is restored in the direction of the arrow R3, that is, when the claw-shaped projection 112 of the claw portion 110 is locked in the locking hole 124 of the door hook 120, a loud sound is generated due to the tendency of the door hook 120 to be restored. Thus, the user can easily recognize that the claw-like projection 112 of the claw portion 110 is locked in the locking hole portion 124 of the door hook 120 and the door 5 is sufficiently closed based on the generation of the sound. Further, when the door hook 120 is restored in the direction of the arrow R3, the door hook 120 can be forcibly turned toward the claw portion 110 by the biasing force of the coil spring on the door 5 side, which is not shown, and insufficient engagement between the door hook 120 and the claw portion 110 can be avoided.
Further, according to the washing machine 1, in the closed state in which the door 5 closes the front-surface opening 4, the axial center 122a of the rotating shaft portion 122 of the door hook 120 is provided at a position closer to the outer circumferential direction outer side of the door 5 than the locking position P1 at which the claw-shaped protrusion 112 of the claw portion 110 is locked to the locking hole portion 124 of the door hook 120. With this configuration, the rotation of the door hook 120 in the direction of the arrow R4 can be promoted by applying a force of a predetermined magnitude or more to the rear surface of the door 5 that is aligned with and closes the front opening 4, and the door 5 can be opened more easily. In the present embodiment, the term "outer side in the outer peripheral direction" refers to the outer side in the outer peripheral direction inside the door 5, and is not intended to include the outer side of the door 5. In the present embodiment, the door 5 is circular. Therefore, "outer side in the outer circumferential direction" may also be defined as "radially outer side".
Further, according to the washing machine 1, the biasing force of the coil spring 9 is a biasing force capable of maintaining the claw-like projection 112 of the claw portion 110 in the locked state locked to the locking hole portion 124 of the door hook 120, and is set to: the door 5 that is closing the front opening 4 is urged from the back of the door 5 by a force of a predetermined magnitude or more, and the claw-like projection 112 of the claw portion 110 is allowed to rotate by the locking hole portion 124 of the door hook 120. Thus, the biasing force capable of locking the door 5 in the closed state and opening the door 5 from the inside of the washing machine main body 2 can be basically realized by selecting the elastic force of the coil spring 9, that is, the biasing force can be easily realized by selecting the kind of the coil spring 9 mounted to the washing machine 1.
Further, according to the washing machine 1, the door hook 120 linearly extending projects from the back surface of the door 5. Therefore, when the door 5 moves in the direction of closing the front opening 4 by its own weight, the door hook 120 can be made to function as a closing prevention portion for preventing the door 5 from closing the front opening 4. That is, if only the door 5 moves in the direction of closing the front opening 4 by its own weight, the front end portion of the door hook 120 comes into contact with the inclined wall portion 8a of the door hook insertion hole portion 8, and if no external force in the closing direction is applied to the door 5, the door 5 can be prevented from closing the front opening 4. This can avoid the door 5 from inadvertently blocking the front opening 4.
Further, according to the washing machine 1, the inclined surface 123a of the protruding portion 123 provided at the distal end portion of the door hook 120 functions as an insertion smooth portion for smoothly inserting the door hook 120 into the door hook insertion hole portion. This allows smooth insertion of the door hook 120 when the front opening 4 is closed with the door 5 by the user's operation, and allows the door 5 to be more easily closed.
In addition, according to the washing machine 1, the inclined surface 123b of the protruding portion 123 provided at the distal end portion of the door hook 120 functions as a smooth extraction portion for smoothly extracting the door hook 120 from the door hook insertion hole portion. This makes it possible to smoothly pull out the door hook 120 when opening the door 5 that is closing the front opening 4, and to more easily open the door 5.
However, the present embodiment is not limited to the above-described one, and various modifications and extensions can be made without departing from the scope of the present embodiment. For example, the configurations of the claw portion 110 and the door hook 120 are not limited to the above configuration example, and can be appropriately modified within a range not departing from the gist of the present embodiment. For example, the locking portion may be configured to have a non-claw shape, and the locked portion may be configured to have a non-hole shape. The washing machine 1 may be configured to include a dedicated blocking portion, such as a pin or a protrusion, for preventing the door 5 from blocking the front opening 4 when the door 5 moves in a direction to block the front opening 4 due to its own weight. Further, the washing machine 1 may be a so-called washing and drying machine capable of performing a drying process on laundry. The present embodiment is not limited to the washing machine 1, and may be applied to various apparatuses configured to perform a predetermined process on laundry, such as a dryer that performs a drying process on laundry, a deodorization device that deodorizes laundry, and the like.
The present embodiment is given as an example, and is not intended to limit the scope of the invention. These new embodiments can be implemented in various other ways, and various omissions, substitutions, and changes can be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. The present embodiment and its modifications are included in the scope and gist of the invention, and are included in the scope of the invention described in the claims and the equivalent scope thereof.
