Description

Liquid cooling distribution device used in server cabinet
Technical Field
The utility model relates to a liquid cooling distributor for in server rack indicates a liquid heat abstractor who sets up in server rack especially.
Background
The advancement of technology can improve the convenience of human life, especially the operation of various data processing and internet networks at present, so that the electronic equipment with high-speed processing efficiency and large energy storage capacity is widely used in various enterprises.
The server case (cabinet) structure for IT, communication, industry, transportation, etc. is used to describe the traditional server case (cabinet) structure capable of accommodating various heating elements, the inside of the server case (cabinet) is a closed accommodating space for accommodating a plurality of heating elements (such as Central Processing Unit (CPU), microprocessor or chip or single chip or other units or devices generating heat source due to electric drive, etc.), the existing method generally adopts a closed heat dissipation manner (i.e. heat dissipation in the server cabinet), wherein the heating elements are directly provided with water cooling heads to be attached to the heating elements, a pipe group and a pump are used to carry out heat dissipation on water drainage in the server cabinet, and a fan arranged on the water drainage drives air in the accommodating space of the case (cabinet) to make the heat-absorbing working fluid in the water drainage and the air in the case (cabinet) perform heat exchange action, so as to achieve the purposes of heat dissipation and temperature reduction of each heating element. However, the enclosed heat dissipation method (inside the server cabinet) will cause the server cabinet to generate heat accumulation with the increase of the working time, which results in heat unable to dissipate, and thus poor heat exchange effect.
Therefore, there are also manufacturers who adopt open heat dissipation, that is, heat exchange is performed by water or cold water outside the server cabinet, but in this way, a cold water distribution Unit (CDU) is additionally disposed in the server cabinet, and a plate heat exchanger, a water storage Unit, a pump, etc. are disposed in the cold water distribution Unit, and a first side fluid loop is formed by the cold water distribution Unit and an external water source, and a second side fluid loop is formed by the cold water distribution Unit and a heat source in the server cabinet, so as to help the server cabinet dissipate heat.
However, the above-mentioned another prior art needs maintenance when internal parts (such as pipes or joints or pumps or other elements) of the cold water distribution device are failed, and it is necessary to stop the operation of the server cabinet and the cold water distribution device, wait for the maintenance to be completed and then restart the server cabinet and the cold water distribution device, and thus it takes time. Moreover, the whole cold water distribution device must be pulled out (dragged) from the server cabinet during maintenance, but for the server cabinet placed in a narrow space, the whole cold water distribution device cannot be pulled out to open the shell for maintenance, so that the maintenance is difficult. Therefore, how to solve the above-mentioned problems and disadvantages is a direction in which the inventors of the present invention and related manufacturers engaged in the industry need to research and improve.

The reservoir 18 is disposed between the heat exchanger 19 and the first and second pumps 12, 13, the reservoir 18 is used to temporarily store the liquid passing through the heat exchanger 19 for buffering, the heat exchanger 19 is, for example, a plate heat exchanger or a fin radiator, but not limited thereto, the heat exchanger 19 is used to provide the operation of heat dissipation of high temperature liquid or heat exchange between high temperature liquid and low temperature liquid, in this embodiment, the heat exchanger 19 is connected to a fan set 191, the heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger 19 is improved by the fan set 191, in one embodiment, the heat exchanger 19 is connected to a cold water source, so that the heat exchanger 19 is circulated by a low temperature liquid and exchanges heat with the high temperature liquid from the transfer pipe set 17.
The first pump 12 and the second pump 13 are connected to a control unit 16 and are connected in parallel or in series through the transmission pipe set 17, if the first pump 12 and the second pump 13 are connected in parallel, the liquid passes through the first pump 12 and the second pump 13 simultaneously to increase the liquid flow speed, and if the first pump 12 and the second pump 13 are connected in series, the liquid passes through the first pump 12 and the second pump 13 sequentially to increase the liquid pressure. Furthermore, the first pump 12 and the second pump 13 are operated together, or one of the pumps operates the other pump as a backup. Thus, when the operating pump is damaged, the other pump may continue to operate or begin to operate to prevent the liquid cooled dispensing apparatus from ceasing to operate.
Furthermore, the housing 112 has a movable housing portion 1121 and a fixed housing portion 1122, the fixed housing portion 1122 corresponds to the heat exchanger 19 and is fixedly connected to the base 111 through a connecting means (e.g., screwing or riveting), the movable housing portion 1121 is opened or closed relative to the base 111, the front section of the movable housing portion 1121 in a drawing direction of the body 11 corresponds to the first pump 12 and the second pump 13 in this embodiment, and the fixed housing portion 1122 in a rear section of the body 11 in the drawing direction corresponds to the heat exchanger 19.
