Abstract
The application provides a wrench assembly and a pluggable module. The wrench assembly is used for being plugged into and unplugged from a case of the electronic equipment and comprises a fixed seat, a wrench and a locking assembly. The wrench is rotatably assembled on the fixing seat. The lock catch assembly is rotatably assembled on the fixed seat. The lock catch assembly comprises a lock catch piece, a rotating shaft penetrating through the lock catch piece and an elastic piece assembled on the rotating shaft, the rotating shaft penetrates through the fixed seat in a rotating mode, and the elastic piece abuts against the lock catch piece. Technical Field
The application relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to a wrench assembly and a pluggable module.
Background
The service integration of large-scale communication equipment, high-performance servers and storage equipment is continuously improved, so that more and more backplane connectors of the system are caused, and the plugging force of the connectors is increased. In order to reliably connect each pluggable module with the system backboard, the wrench assembly is arranged, so that the pluggable modules can be conveniently plugged and maintained.
However, as more electronic devices are deployed in pluggable modules, the space occupied by the electronic devices is larger and smaller, and the space reserved for the wrench assembly is smaller and smaller. Therefore, how to insert and pull the pluggable module in a smaller space by using a wrench assembly with less labor is a problem that needs to be solved. The wrench assembly of the embodiment of the application is used for being plugged into and unplugged from a case of an electronic device and comprises a fixing seat, a wrench and a locking assembly. The wrench is rotatably assembled on the fixing seat. The lock catch assembly is rotatably assembled on the fixed seat. The lock catch assembly comprises a lock catch piece, a rotating shaft penetrating through the lock catch piece and an elastic piece assembled on the rotating shaft, the rotating shaft penetrates through the fixed seat in a rotating mode, and the elastic piece abuts against the lock catch piece. Under the action of the elastic piece, the locking piece locks the wrench, and the locking assembly is in a locking state. When the lock catch piece is pressed, the lock catch piece rotates around the rotating shaft, the wrench is unlocked, and the lock catch assembly is in an unlocking state.
The lock catch assembly is arranged on the fixing seat, so that the occupied space is reduced, and the layout density on the electronic equipment is improved. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an embodiment of an electronic device 100. Fig. 2 is an enlarged view of a portion of the electronic device 100 shown in fig. 1. The electronic device 100 may include a communication device, a server, or a storage device. The electronic device 100 includes a chassis 101 and a pluggable module 102, the pluggable module 102 communicatively coupled with the chassis 101. The chassis 101 may include a host.
The pluggable module 102 is pluggable and assembled to the chassis 101. The pluggable module 102 includes an interface module 103 and a wrench assembly 104. The interface module 103 of the pluggable module 102 is communicatively coupled to the chassis 101. The interface module 103 may comprise an interface 105, such as a serial port 232, a serial port 485, an ethernet interface, a GPIB interface, a USB interface, a wireless interface, a fiber optic interface. The wrench assembly 104 is fixedly assembled to the interface module 103. The pluggable module 102 may be pulled out of the chassis 101 with the assistance of the wrench assembly 104. In some embodiments, the pluggable module 102 may include one or more wrench assemblies 104. In one embodiment, the pluggable module 102 may be secured to opposite ends of the interface module 103 to facilitate the unplugging of the pluggable module 102.
Fig. 3 is a perspective view of the wrench assembly 104 shown in fig. 1 and 2. The wrench assembly 104 is used for plugging the pluggable module 102 into and out of the chassis 101 of the electronic device 100, and the wrench assembly 104 includes a fixing base 110, a wrench 111 and a locking assembly 112. The fixing base 110 is fixed to the interface module 103, as shown in fig. 2. The wrench assembly 104 is fixed to the interface module 103 through the fixing base 110.
Fig. 4 is a partial perspective view of the wrench assembly 104. Referring to fig. 3 and 4, the wrench 111 is rotatably assembled to the holder 110. The locking assembly 112 is rotatably assembled to the fixing base 110. The locking assembly 112 includes a locking member 113, a rotating shaft 114 passing through the locking member 113, and an elastic member 115 assembled to the rotating shaft 114, wherein the rotating shaft 114 is rotatably passed through the fixing base 110, and the elastic member 115 abuts against the locking member 113. The latch assembly 112 includes a locked state and an unlocked state. Under the action of the elastic member 115, the locking member 113 locks the wrench 111, and the locking assembly 112 is in a locked state, as shown in fig. 4. When the latch member 113 is pressed, the latch member 113 rotates around the rotating shaft 114 to unlock the wrench 111, and the latch assembly 112 is in an unlocked state, as shown in fig. 3. In some embodiments, the elastic member 115 includes a torsion spring.
The locking assembly 112 is disposed on the fixing base 110, so as to reduce the occupied space and increase the layout density of the electronic device 100. The locking fastener 113 is pressed to rotate for unlocking, and in some embodiments, the friction force between the locking fastener 113 and the wrench 111 is small, so that the locking fastener is easy to press for unlocking, is not labor-consuming, meets the requirements of man-machine engineering, is beneficial to unlocking, and reduces the phenomena of blocking, dryness and the like, so that the locking fastener 113 can be easily pressed for unlocking even if the size of the locking fastener is set to be small due to space limitation. In some embodiments, the friction between the locking member 113 and the wrench 111 is small, so that the locking member 113 is not easily broken when pressed, and has a long service life.
In some embodiments, the wrench assembly 104 includes a switch 116 disposed on the fixing base 110, and the switch 116 is communicatively connected to the interface module 103 and communicatively connected to the chassis 101 through the interface module 103, as shown in fig. 2. Before the pluggable module 102 is pulled out of the chassis 101, the switch 116 may provide the chassis 101 with a signal indicating that the pluggable module 102 is to be pulled out, so as to provide the chassis 101 with buffering time, reduce the damage probability of the electronic device 100, and improve the reliability of the electronic device 100. In some embodiments, switch 116 comprises a microswitch.
Fig. 5 shows an exploded perspective view of the wrench assembly 114. Referring to fig. 3-5, in some embodiments, the fixing base 110 includes a main fixing base 120, and the main fixing base 120 is fixedly assembled to the interface module 103. In some embodiments, the anchor 110 includes a catch anchor 117, and the catch anchor 117 includes a catch-receiving cavity 118. The locking assembly 112 is rotatably assembled to the locking member holder 117 and at least partially received in the locking receiving cavity 118. The side of the latch receiving cavity 118 facing the wrench 111 is open so that the wrench 111 can extend into the latch receiving cavity 118 to latch-engage with the latch component 112.
In some embodiments, the locking member fixing base 117 is fixed to the main fixing base 120 and abuts against the interface module 103. In some embodiments, the fastener holder 117 and the main holder 120 are assembled together after being separately molded. The catch member holder 117 may be assembled to the main holder 120 by a screw 128. In other embodiments, the catch member holder 117 is integrally formed with the main holder 120. In other embodiments, a portion of the fastener holder 117 is integrally formed with the main holder 120, and another portion is assembled with the main holder 120 after being separately formed.
In some embodiments, the holder 110 includes a switch holder 121, and the switch holder 121 includes a switch receiving cavity 122 for receiving the switch 116, and a position-limiting portion 123 protruding out of the switch receiving cavity 122. The switch fixing base 121 is fixed to the main fixing base 120 and the locking member fixing base 117, and abuts against the interface module 103. In some embodiments, a portion of the switch fixing base 121 is integrally formed with the main fixing base 120, and another portion is assembled after being separately formed with the main fixing base 120. The switch holder 121 includes a switch base 124 and a cover plate 125 covering the switch base 124, and a switch accommodating cavity 122 and a limiting portion 123 are formed between the switch base 124 and the cover plate 125. The switch base 124 may be integrally formed with the main fixing base 120, and the cover plate 125 is formed separately from the switch base 124 and assembled to the switch base 124. The cover plate 125 may be assembled to the switch base 124 by set screws 129. In other embodiments, the switch fixing base 121 and the main fixing base 120 are assembled together after being separately molded. In other embodiments, the switch fixing base 121 is integrally formed with the main fixing base 120.
In some embodiments, the locking element 113 includes a rotating connecting portion 130, a pressing portion 131 disposed at one end of the rotating connecting portion 130, and a locking portion 132 disposed at the other end of the rotating connecting portion 130, the rotating shaft 114 is disposed through the rotating connecting portion 130, and the elastic element 115 abuts between the pressing portion 131 and the fixing base 110. The force for unlocking by pressing is small, so that unlocking is facilitated, and the structure is simple. By pressing the pressing portion 131, the rotation connecting portion 130 rotates around the rotation shaft 114 against the elastic force of the elastic member 115, and the locking portion 132 is driven to rotate, so as to loosen the wrench 111. After the wrench 111 is unlocked, the locking member 113 is restored by the restoring force of the elastic member 115. In the process from the unlocked state to the locked state, the wrench 111 moves toward the locking member 112 to be locked with the locking member 113.
In some embodiments, the pressing portion 131 is located outside the latch accommodating cavity 118, and the locking portion 132 is located inside the latch accommodating cavity 118, so that the pressing is facilitated and the latch structure is protected. The rotation connecting portion 130 is located in the locking-receiving cavity 118, and the rotation shaft 114 passes through the locking-member fixing seat 117, passes through the rotation connecting portion 130, and passes through the elastic member 115.
In some embodiments, the pressing portion 131 extends obliquely from the rotation connecting portion 130 to a direction away from the rotation connecting portion 130 and to a direction away from the locking portion 132, so as to ensure a sufficient pressing stroke, so that the locking portion 132 can release the wrench 111. In some embodiments, the pressing portion 131 is located outside the wall of the latch accommodating cavity 118, and a space capable of being pressed is left between the pressing portion and the wall of the latch accommodating cavity 118.
In some embodiments, the locking portion 132 and the pressing portion 131 both extend toward the wrench 111. The free end of the fastening portion 132 is in a hook shape, and can hook the wrench 111, and the wrench 111 has a small contact area, a small friction force, and is convenient for unlocking.
In some embodiments, the wrench 111 is assembled to the fixing base 110 by the torsion spring 140. When unlocking, the locking member 113 releases the wrench 111, and the wrench 111 is ejected by the torsion spring 140, thus unlocking. When the wrench 111 is rotated from the unlocking state to the locking state, the wrench 111 is rotated toward the locking member 113 to overcome the elastic force of the torsion spring 140 until the wrench 111 is locked by the locking member 113.
In some embodiments, the wrench 111 includes a latch mating portion 141 that mates with the latch member 113, and the latch mating portion 141 is provided with a catch groove 142. In the locked state, as shown in fig. 4, the pressing portion 131 and the locking portion 132 extend toward the latch matching portion 141, the pressing portion 131 is located on one side of the latch matching portion 141, and the locking portion 132 is located on the opposite side of the latch matching portion 131 and is locked in the locking slot 142. The locking portion 132 is locked into the locking groove 142 from a side of the locking engagement portion 131 opposite to the pressing portion 131. So can stably hold and lock. When unlocking, the pressing portion 131 is pressed, and the buckling portion 132 is separated from the clamping groove 142, so that unlocking is facilitated. In some embodiments, the latch engaging portion 141 of the wrench 111 extends into the latch receiving cavity 118 (shown in fig. 3) to engage with the latch portion 132 in the locked state, so as to protect the latch structure.
In some embodiments, the rotation plane of the locking member 113 relative to the rotation shaft 114 is perpendicular to the rotation plane of the wrench 111 relative to the fixing base 110, and the locking member 113 locks the wrench 111 perpendicularly. The rotation shaft 114 is parallel to the rotation plane of the wrench 111 relative to the fixing base 110. The pressing portion 131 of the locking member 113 is pressed to rotate perpendicular to the rotation plane of the wrench 111, and the locking portion 132 rotates perpendicular to the rotation plane of the wrench 111. The latch 132 vertically latches the wrench 111. Thus, the space occupied by the pluggable module 102 is small, the layout is compact, and the push-down is convenient.
In other embodiments, the rotation plane of the locking member 113 relative to the rotation shaft 114 is parallel to the rotation plane of the wrench 111 relative to the fixing base 110. The rotation shaft 114 is perpendicular to the rotation plane of the wrench 111 relative to the fixing base 110. The pressing portion 131 of the locking member 113 may be located on a side of the fixing base 110 facing the interior of the pluggable module 102. The latch 132 is substantially perpendicular to the plane of rotation of the wrench 111.
Fig. 6 is a partial perspective view of the wrench assembly 104 with the catch assembly 112 in a locked condition. In some embodiments, the wrench 111 actuates the switch 116 and the latch assembly 112 is in the locked state. As shown in fig. 3, wrench 111 releases switch 116 and latch assembly 112 is in the unlocked state. In the locked and unlocked states, the electrical signal of switch 116 is different, so that chassis 101 (shown in fig. 2) can determine the state of wrench 111. The wrench 111 presses the switch 116, so that the structure of the locking piece 113 can be reduced, the locking piece 113 has a simple structure and is adapted to a limited space, the wrench 111 can more stably press the switch 116, and a signal generated by the switch 116 is more stable.
Referring to fig. 5 and 6, in some embodiments, the wrench 111 includes a handle 150, a wrench turning portion 151 connected to the handle 150, and a switch actuating portion 152 extending from the handle 150 to the switch 116. Handle 150 includes a rotating end 153 and a grip end 154 opposite rotating end 153. The wrench rotating part 151 is located at the rotating end 153 of the handle 150 and is rotatably assembled to the fixing base 110. The switch activating part 152 is located between the wrench rotating part 151 and the handle end 154, and activates the switch 116 in a locked state.
In some embodiments, the handle 150 may be generally elongated. The rotating end 153 of the handle 150 is rotatably engaged with the holder 117. The wrench rotating portion 151 is rotatably coupled to the locker fixing base 117 by the torsion spring 140. The wrench rotating portion 151 may protrude from the rotating end 153 of the handle 150 toward the locking-piece fixing base 117. The grip end 154 of the handle 150 is graspable by a user to turn the wrench 111. The switch activating part 152 is located between the wrench rotating part 151 and the handle end 154, so that the structural space of the wrench 111 can be fully utilized, and the layout is reasonable. In some embodiments, the latch mating portion 141 is located above the wrench turning portion 151.
In some embodiments, the switch activator 152 includes an activator body 155 extending from the handle 150 toward the switch 116, and an activator head 156 extending from the activator body 155 toward the switch 116, the activator body 155 having a dimension in the length direction of the handle 150 that is greater than the dimension of the activator head 156. The touch body 155 has a large size and a strong structure, and is not easily broken, so that the touch head 156 can stably trigger the switch 116. In some embodiments, the touch body 155 is provided with a through groove 157, which can save cost and reduce the weight of the wrench 111.
In some embodiments, in the locked state, the trigger 156 extends into the switch receiving cavity 122, triggers the switch 116, and the trigger body 155 abuts against the limiting portion 123. The position-limiting portion 123 can limit the switch trigger 152, so that the trigger head 156 can stably trigger the switch 116. In some embodiments, the trigger head 156 is adjacent to a side of the trigger body 155 adjacent to the grip end 154 of the handle 150.

1. A wrench assembly for pluggable modules to and from a chassis of an electronic device, the wrench assembly comprising:
a fixed seat;
the spanner is rotatably assembled on the fixed seat; and
the locking assembly is rotatably assembled on the fixed seat and comprises a locking piece, a rotating shaft penetrating through the locking piece and an elastic piece assembled on the rotating shaft, the rotating shaft is rotatably penetrated through the fixed seat, and the elastic piece is abutted against the locking piece;
under the action of the elastic piece, the locking piece locks the wrench, and the locking assembly is in a locking state; when the lock catch piece is pressed, the lock catch piece rotates around the rotating shaft to unlock the wrench, and the lock catch assembly is in an unlocking state.

The wrench assembly of claim 1, wherein: the locking fastener comprises a rotating connecting portion, a pressing portion and a clamping portion, the pressing portion is arranged at one end of the rotating connecting portion, the clamping portion is arranged at the other end of the rotating connecting portion, the rotating shaft penetrates through the rotating connecting portion, and the elastic piece is abutted to the pressing portion and the fixed seat.

5. The wrench assembly of claim 2, wherein: the pressing part extends obliquely from the rotating connecting part to the direction far away from the rotating connecting part and to the direction far away from the buckling part.
6. The wrench assembly of claim 1, wherein: the wrench assembly comprises a switch arranged on the fixed seat, the wrench triggers the switch, and the lock catch assembly is in the locking state; the wrench releases the switch and the latch assembly is in the unlocked state.

The wrench assembly of claim 6, wherein: the wrench comprises a handle, a wrench rotating part connected with the handle and a switch triggering part extending from the handle to the switch, wherein the handle comprises a rotating end and a handle end opposite to the rotating end; the wrench rotating part is positioned at the rotating end of the handle and can be rotatably assembled on the fixed seat; the switch triggering part is positioned between the wrench rotating part and the handle end and triggers the switch in the locking state.

The wrench assembly of claim 7, wherein: the switch trigger part comprises a trigger body extending from the handle to the switch and a trigger head extending from the trigger body to the switch, and the size of the trigger body in the length direction of the handle is larger than that of the trigger head.

The wrench assembly of claim 8, wherein: the fixing seat comprises a switch fixing seat, the switch fixing seat comprises a switch accommodating cavity for accommodating the switch and a limiting part protruding out of the switch accommodating cavity, in the locking state, the touch head extends into the switch accommodating cavity to touch the switch, and the touch body abuts against the limiting part.
10. The wrench assembly of claim 1, wherein: the rotating plane of the lock catch piece rotating relative to the rotating shaft is perpendicular to the rotating plane of the wrench rotating relative to the fixed seat, and the lock catch piece vertically locks the wrench.
11. A pluggable module for an electronic device, the pluggable module comprising:
an interface module; and
the wrench assembly of any one of claims 1-10, wherein the holder of the wrench assembly is secured to the interface module.
