The apparatus for preparing an umbilical cord section as claimed in claim 1 further comprising a pin adapted to engage a first connector provided on the outer periphery of the side wall of the first vessel and a second connector provided on the outer periphery of the side wall of the second vessel.
7. The apparatus for forming an umbilical section as claimed in claim 6 wherein the pin is fitted with the first connector portion in a clearance fit and the first connector portion is rotated about the pin.
8. The apparatus for preparing an umbilical cord segment as claimed in claim 6 wherein the pin is fitted with the second connector portion in a clearance fit and the second connector portion is rotated about the pin.
9. The apparatus for preparing an umbilical cord section as claimed in claim 6 further comprising a first bracing member, wherein the first connecting portion is assembled with the pin and the first bracing member at both ends thereof.
10. The apparatus for preparing an umbilical cord section as claimed in claim 6 further comprising a second bracing member, wherein both ends of the second connecting portion are respectively assembled with the pin and the second bracing member.
