Various embodiments of the present disclosure will be described by way of example and not limitation in the accompanying drawings, in which:
FIG. 1 illustrates an overall schematic view of a front fork arrangement for a bicycle in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure; and
FIG. 2 illustrates an exploded schematic view of a front fork arrangement for a bicycle in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure.
Detailed Description
The principles of the present disclosure will now be described with reference to various exemplary embodiments shown in the drawings. It should be understood that these examples are described merely to enable those skilled in the art to better understand and further implement the present disclosure, and are not intended to limit the scope of the present disclosure in any way. It should be noted that where feasible, similar or identical reference numerals may be used in the figures and that similar or identical reference numerals may indicate similar or identical functions. One skilled in the art will readily recognize from the following description that alternative embodiments of the structures and methods illustrated herein may be employed without departing from the principles of the invention described herein.
While the present disclosure will be described below with respect to a front fork arrangement for use on a shared bicycle, it should be understood that the vehicle latch could be used in other two-wheel or three-wheel vehicles, as well as other suitable vehicles. A front fork apparatus for a bicycle according to an embodiment of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, a front fork assembly 1 for a bicycle is improved in mounting a wheel axle 30 of the vehicle. As shown, the front fork apparatus 1 includes a standpipe 12 and a pair of front fork arms 10. The standpipe 12 is located on the upper end side of the front fork device 1 and is used for receiving a handlebar of the bicycle to constitute a steering system of the vehicle. A pair of front fork arms 10 are located on the lower end side of the front fork 1 and are used to mount an axle 30 of a front wheel of the bicycle to form a suspension system of the front wheel of the vehicle. Each of the front fork arms 10 is provided with a through hole 20 near its distal end. The through hole 20 is configured to receive an axle 30 of a front wheel of the bicycle.
According to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the wheel axle 30 is fixed to the front fork arm 10 of the front fork device 1 extending through the through hole 20 of the front fork device 1. In contrast to the solution in which the axle is mounted in the fork notch in the front fork device 1, particularly in the case of a shared bicycle subjected to a severe external environment, the axle 30 can be prevented from falling out of the through hole of the front fork tube arm 10 even if the fastener (e.g., nut) or the like of the axle 30 is loosened.
In some embodiments, as best shown in fig. 2, the through hole 20 provided in the front fork device 1 is a non-notched closed through hole. It should be understood that this is merely exemplary. In some embodiments, the through-hole may also be provided with some slits. Importantly, the slots will prevent the axle 30 from falling out of the through bore through the slots. In view of the difficulty of maintenance, particularly of a shared bicycle, once the axle 30 of the vehicle is detached from the front fork arm 10, the entire vehicle is scattered, and serious economic loss may result.
In some embodiments, as best shown in fig. 2, the tube wall of the front fork arm 10 is flattened at the distal end. In some embodiments, the front yoke arm 10 is generally in the form of a round tube. The tube wall of the front fork arm 10 is flattened at the tip end to have a flat shape. With this configuration, the contact area during fastening can be increased, and the fastening strength can be enhanced. In some embodiments, the front yoke arms 10 may also be oval tube shaped or other suitable shape.
In some embodiments, as best shown in FIG. 2, the front fork arm 10 includes a reinforcement tab 40 at the distal end. The reinforcing sheet may be used to reinforce the strength of the front fork arm 10 to further reinforce the mounting strength of the axle 30 to the front fork arm 10. In some embodiments, the reinforcing sheet 40 is provided with another through hole aligned with the through hole 20. Thus, the axle 30 can be fastened to the front fork arm 10 through the reinforcement piece 40.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 2, the reinforcing sheet 40 is shaped to be inserted into the front fork arm 10 and to fill the space of the flat portions of the front fork arm 10 that are opposed to each other. With this structure, the entire appearance of the front fork arm 10 can be enhanced while securing the fastening strength. In some embodiments, not shown, the reinforcing plate 40 can be attached to the side wall of the front fork arm 10, and the effect of enhancing the mounting strength can also be achieved. In one embodiment, the reinforcement tab 40 may be attached to one side wall of the front fork arm 10. In another embodiment, the reinforcing sheet 40 may be attached to both side walls of the front fork arm 10. In some embodiments, the reinforcement tab 40 is welded to the front fork arm 10. It should be understood that other means of attachment, such as bonding, may be used.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 2, the front fork device 1 further comprises a fastener, wherein a fastening face of the fastener abuts the front fork arm 10 at a flat surface at the tip. In some embodiments, the fastener includes a nut 50 that mates with threads on the axle 30. Thus, the axle 30 and the front fork arm 10 can be detachably mounted using standard parts. The fastener also includes a washer 60 that mates with the nut 50.
In some embodiments, the front fork apparatus 1 further includes a fender mounting portion and the like. Since these components are well known in the art, detailed description thereof will be omitted.
According to another aspect of the present disclosure, there is also provided a vehicle comprising a front fork arrangement 1 according to the present disclosure. The vehicle has the advantages of the front fork device. A detailed description thereof will be omitted to avoid redundancy.
Those skilled in the art will understand that: the foregoing description is provided for the purpose of illustration and not limitation. It will be apparent to one skilled in the art that the present invention may be practiced in other implementations that depart from these specific details. Furthermore, unnecessary detail of known functions and structures may be omitted from the current description so as not to obscure the present invention.
Although specific embodiments have been illustrated and described herein, those of ordinary skill in the art appreciate that any arrangement which is calculated to achieve the same purpose may be substituted for the specific embodiments shown and that the invention has other applications in other environments. This application is intended to cover any adaptations or variations of the present invention. The following claims should in no way be construed to limit the scope of the invention to the specific embodiments described herein.
