Description

Electric vacuum cleaner
Technical Field
The utility model relates to an electric dust collector which utilizes a cover body to open and close a dust collecting chamber of a main body part.
Background
Conventionally, as for an electric vacuum cleaner using a dust bag such as a paper bag, there are known: an electric dust collector which utilizes a cover body to open and close a dust collecting chamber provided with a dust collecting bag. The rotating shaft of the cover body is supported by the main body part provided with the dust collecting chamber, so that the cover body can rotate relative to the main body part. When the electric vacuum cleaner is operated, the vacuum degree of the dust collecting chamber is raised by the driving of the electric blower, and thereby the cover body presses the sealing member to ensure the sealing performance. When the rotating shaft is formed linearly in the pressing direction in which the lid presses the sealing member, the rotating shaft may strongly resist the rotating shaft and prevent the lid from pressing the sealing member, and therefore, it is desirable to improve the sealing performance of the lid in sealing the dust collecting chamber during operation.

In the present embodiment, the arm 26 has an L shape, but is not limited to this shape. The base end portion 28 protrudes from the cover main body 22 in a direction intersecting the surface direction of the cover main body 22. The base end 28 of the present embodiment protrudes downward from the cover body 22 in a state where the dust collecting chamber 12 is closed by the cover 21. The tip end 29 projects from the base end 28 toward the inside of the cover body 22 in the direction of the suction port 9 along the cover body 22. The tip end portion 29 of the present embodiment protrudes from the base end portion 28 toward the suction port 9. The distal end portion 29 is rotatably supported by a bearing portion 30 protruding from the main body portion 11 via a shaft 32 with respect to the main body portion 11. The bearing portion 30 protrudes to the outside of the sealing member 13 at the edge of the dust collecting chamber 12. The bearing portion 30 of the present embodiment linearly protrudes from the body portion 11 toward the lid body 21 at a position rearward of the dust collecting chamber 12. The lid body 21 is rotatably supported by the shaft 32 of the distal end portion 29 of the arm portion 26 on the distal end side of the bearing portion 30. Further, in the vicinity of the bearing portion 30, there are formed: a space portion 31 for avoiding interference between the cover body 22 and the body portion 11 when the cover body 21 is rotated. The space 31 is formed in the body 11 at a position opposite to the dust collecting chamber 12 of the bearing 30. The space 31 of the present embodiment is formed in the upper portion of the main body 11 along the entire left-right direction at the rear side of the bearing 30.
In the present embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, a pair of arm portions 26 and a pair of bearing portions 30 are provided with a gap therebetween in the left-right direction. In the present embodiment, each arm portion 26 is integrally molded with the lid main body 22 from synthetic resin or the like, and has flexibility.
Next, an operation of one embodiment will be described.
In the case where the dust bag 14 is not attached to the dust chamber 12, the user attaches the dust bag 14 to the dust chamber 12, rotates the lid body 21 to close the dust chamber 12, and locks the lid body 21 to the main body 11 by the locking means 25 before starting cleaning. In this state, the pressing portion 23 of the lid body 21 is pressed against the sealing member 13 to seal the dust collecting chamber 12.
When the user operates the setting unit 8 to start the electric vacuum cleaner 1, the electric blower 16 operates to generate a negative pressure. When the degree of vacuum in the dust collecting chamber 12 increases, a force is generated to pull the lid body 21 toward the dust collecting chamber 12, and as shown by the two-dot chain line a in fig. 1, the arm 26 is deflected by the force, so that the lid body 21 is lowered toward the dust collecting chamber 12, and the pressing portion 23 strongly presses the seal member 13, thereby improving the sealing performance of the dust collecting chamber 12. Note that, in order to make the description more clear, the two-dot chain line a of fig. 1 is exaggeratedly illustrated.
The user grips the operation unit 7 to suck dust on the floor surface together with air from the suction port body 6. Then, the dust-containing air is sucked into the dust bag 14 attached to the dust chamber 12 through the suction port 9, and the dust is separated and collected in the dust bag 14. The air from which the dust is separated passes through the filter 17 and is sucked into the electric blower 16. The air sucked into the electric blower 16 cools the electric blower 16, is discharged from the electric blower 16, and is further discharged to the outside of the cleaner body 2 through the exhaust port.
When the user operates the setting means 8 to stop the operation of the electric vacuum cleaner 1 after cleaning is completed, the degree of vacuum in the dust collection chamber 12 gradually decreases, and the flexural deformation of the arm 26 is restored, so that the lid body 21 can easily open and close the dust collection chamber 12. When the suction force of the electric blower 16 is lowered due to the dust accumulated in the dust bag 14 by a predetermined amount or more, the user rotates the cover body 21 to open the dust chamber 12, releases the holding of the dust bag 14 by the holding unit 15, removes the dust bag 14 from the dust chamber 12, and throws away the dust together.
According to the above-described embodiment, since the shaft 32 of the arm 26 is provided at the side of the dust collection chamber 12 with respect to the base end portion 28, when the vacuum degree of the dust collection chamber 12 is increased during operation of the electric vacuum cleaner 1, the arm 26 is hardly supported by the force of pulling the lid body 21 toward the dust collection chamber 12, and the pressing of the sealing member 13 by the pressing portion 23 can be increased. Therefore, the sealing performance of the lid 21 for sealing the dust collecting chamber 12 during operation can be improved.
Since the arm 26 is formed in an L shape bent toward the dust collection chamber 12 side with respect to the base end 28, when the vacuum degree of the dust collection chamber 12 increases during operation of the electric vacuum cleaner 1, the arm 26 can be easily deformed by the force of pulling the lid body 21 toward the dust collection chamber 12, and the sealing performance of the lid body 21 for sealing the dust collection chamber 12 during operation can be improved.
Further, since the arm 26 does not protrude outward from the outer edge of the lid main body 22, the lid body 21 can be prevented from being increased in size.
Further, since the electric blower 16, the control unit 19, and the power supply unit are housed in the conventional main body 11, it is not easy to leave a large space for rotatably supporting the cover 21. In the present embodiment, the arm portion 26 is positioned inside the cover main body 22, and thus the arm portion 26 can be disposed by utilizing the space inside the cover main body 22. Therefore, compared to the configuration in which the arm portions extend from the cover main body to the outside, there is no need to separately provide a space for rotatably supporting the arm portions 26 on the main body 11, and the cleaner main body 2 can be downsized.
Since the arm 26 is flexible, when the vacuum degree of the dust collection chamber 12 is increased during operation of the electric vacuum cleaner 1, the arm 26 can be more easily bent and deformed, and the sealing property of the dust collection chamber 12 can be improved.
In the above-described embodiment, the dust collecting chamber 12 having an upper opening is opened and closed by the lid body 21, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration, and may be applied to a configuration in which the dust collecting chamber 12 having a front or right and left opening is opened and closed by the lid body 21.
Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described, these embodiments are provided as examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. These new embodiments may be implemented in other various forms, and various omissions, substitutions, and changes may be made without departing from the spirit of the invention. These embodiments and modifications are included in the scope and gist of the invention, and are included in the invention described in the claims and the equivalent scope thereof.
