The utility model discloses still relate to an overhead air conditioner, this overhead air conditioner is the overhead air conditioner that is used for the vehicle.
Description
Technical Field
The utility model relates to an overhead air conditioner technical field particularly, relates to an overhead air conditioner that is used for overhead air conditioner's overhead unit and has this overhead unit.
Background
Overhead air conditioners are typically comprised of an overhead unit, an air distribution box and a plurality of connected air ducts. In particular, the overhead unit is arranged on the roof, for example on the outer wall of the roof, by means of its chassis, which has an air outlet; the air distribution box with the air inlet upper air duct is arranged on the inner wall surface of the roof, and the air outlet of the chassis is communicated with the air inlet upper air duct of the air distribution box through the opening of the roof by a plurality of connecting air pipes. For overhead air conditioners, the weight of the overhead unit on the outer wall of the roof is very important for installation. Thus, replacing an existing metal chassis or injection molded chassis with a lighter weight foam chassis is advantageous for installation. However, safety regulations require that the chassis must pass the ball pressure test, but current foams do not meet the requirements of passing the ball pressure test.

Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the embodiments of the present invention, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, wherein like or similar reference numerals refer to the same or similar elements or elements having the same or similar functions. The embodiments described below with reference to the drawings are exemplary and intended to be used for explaining the present invention, and should not be construed as limiting the present invention.
An overhead unit for an overhead air conditioner according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 shows an exploded view of an exemplary embodiment of a chassis assembly 1 of an overhead unit according to the present invention. This chassis assembly 1 comprises a chassis 2 and a cover 3, wherein the cover 3 has at its bottom a rim 31 extending towards the inside of the cover 3, which rim 31 is intended to cooperate with an undercut 21 protruding outwards from the base of said chassis 2 to be fixed to each other to form a chassis assembly 1 according to the invention. Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, the depth of the undercut 21 is greater than the thickness of the cover 3, and the length of the bottom surface of the undercut 21 is greater than the width distance between the rims 31, such as the inverted T-like shape shown in the drawings. When the chassis 2 and cover 3 are assembled, the chassis undercuts 21 protrude from the space between the rims 31 due to the resilience of the material, e.g. EPP foam, and the rims 31 snap between the chassis base and the undercuts. This achieves a fixation between the chassis 2 and the cover 3. Alternatively, the reverse buckle 21 may also be any other structural shape capable of realizing the buckling fixation with the frame 31, for example, a trapezoid-like shape.
In some embodiments, the thickness of the cover 3 may be between 1.5mm to 3mm, while the depth of the undercut 21 may be between 4mm to 10 mm. In a preferred embodiment, the depth of the undercut 21 may be 6 mm.
Additionally or alternatively, as shown in FIG. 1, the cover 3 may have a first pull tape 32 and a second pull tape 33 extending between the borders 31. The draw tapes 32 and 33 may be used to maintain the structural stability of the cover 3. For example, during the assembly of the chassis 2 and the cover 3, the draw tape prevents the lateral frame of the cover 3 from being deformed laterally outwards, thus ensuring the fit between the chassis 2 and the cover 3. Furthermore, as shown in fig. 3, the base plate 2 is provided with a first recess 22 and a second recess 23 for receiving the pull straps 32 and 33 (wherein the recesses 22 and 23 are provided on the undercut in the case of an undercut), so that the base plate 2 and the cover 3 can also be fixed by the cooperation of the pull straps 32 and 33 and the recesses 22 and 23.
However, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that the cooperating structure of the inverted buckle and the frame or the cooperating structure of the drawstring and the groove described in the above embodiments may be used alone to fix the chassis 2 and the cover 3. When the draw tape is used alone, it may extend directly between the side frames of the cover, with the recess accommodating the draw tape being provided directly on the base of the chassis. Further, it should also be understood that, although the above figures exemplarily show that the number of the pull tapes is two, the pull tapes may alternatively take any other number, for example three or more. Correspondingly, the number of the grooves arranged on the chassis can be adjusted according to the number of the pull belts arranged on the covering part.
Fig. 4 shows a perspective view of a chassis assembly of an overhead unit according to a first aspect of the invention. Wherein the cover covers at least a portion of the surface of the chassis exposed to the outside of the upper cover and the roof, wherein the cover is made of a material, such as a plastic or metal material, which enables the chassis of a non-metallic material, such as an EPP foam material, to pass a ball pressure test, thereby achieving a light weight of the chassis to reduce the weight of the overhead unit while complying with safety regulations, which is advantageous for the installation of the overhead unit on the roof.
The embodiments shown in the above figures and described above are merely exemplary and may be secured using adhesives or screws in addition to the cooperating structure of the undercuts and bezel and/or the cooperating structure of the draw tape and groove disclosed above. In the embodiment with adhesive or screw fixation, the cover 3 may have only side frames, i.e. without the borders and/or drawstrings of the above described embodiments, which means that it covers only the part of the floor surface exposed outside the upper cover and the roof.
Alternatively, in another embodiment, the bottom of the cover 3 may be provided to have the same structure as the base of the chassis 2. The cover 3 in this embodiment has a strong structural stability. This means that the cover covers, in addition to the part of the surface of the chassis exposed to the upper cover and the roof, also the part of the chassis not exposed to the outside due to the presence of the roof, i.e. the base of the chassis.
It should be understood that any of the above embodiments of the means for securing the chassis to the cover may be used alone or in combination with one another without departing from the scope of the present invention.
Furthermore, the present invention also proposes an overhead air conditioner for a vehicle, which has the overhead unit in any of the above-described embodiments.
In the description of the present invention, it should be understood that the terms "upper", "lower", "inner", "outer", etc. indicate the orientation or positional relationship based on the orientation or positional relationship shown in the drawings, which are only for convenience of description and simplification of description, but do not indicate or imply that the device or element referred to must have a specific orientation configuration and operation, and thus, should not be construed as limiting the present invention.
Furthermore, the terms "first" and "second" are used for descriptive purposes only and are not to be construed as indicating or implying relative importance. Thus, a definition of "a first" or "a second" feature may explicitly or implicitly include one or more of the features.
Although embodiments of the present invention have been shown and described, it is understood that the above embodiments are exemplary and should not be construed as limiting the present invention, and that variations, modifications, substitutions and alterations can be made to the above embodiments by those of ordinary skill in the art without departing from the scope of the present invention.
