Referring to fig. 1 to 4, fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a torque tool according to an embodiment of the present invention, fig. 2 is an exploded assembly diagram of the torque tool in fig. 1, fig. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of a first ring gear and a second ring gear in fig. 2, and fig. 4 is a schematic structural diagram of a handle and a base.
In this embodiment, the torque tool is used for outputting torque, and includes a handle 10, a base 20, a first gear ring 30, a second gear ring 40, an output member 50, an elastic member 60, a retainer ring 70, a pin 80, and a protrusion 90.
The base 20 is arranged at the tail end of the handle 10, the through cavity 21 is arranged on the base 20, the cavity 21 is used for mounting parts such as the gear ring and the output piece 50, and the retainer ring 70 limits structures such as the first gear ring 30, the second gear ring 40, the output piece 50 and the elastic piece 60 in the cavity 21. The output member 50 can be clamped with a fastener such as a nut or a screw, and when the handle 10 is rotated in the forward direction, the base 20 together with the first gear ring 30 and the second gear ring 40 drives the output member 50 to rotate, so that torque is applied to the nut or the screw; when the handle 10 is rotated in the reverse direction, torque cannot be transmitted between the output member 50, the first ring gear 30 and the second ring gear 40, and the handle 10 can be returned against a small resistance to facilitate the next forward rotation.
The handle 10 is used for holding, the base 20 and the handle 10 are movably connected, and the angle between the cross sections of the handle 10 and the base 20 can be adjusted. Specifically, the handle 10 and the base 20 are connected by a pin 80 with a certain range of rotational freedom therebetween. For example, the handle 10 may be pivoted about the pin 80 by 15 degrees to tilt up or down.
The handle 10 is provided with a resilient pin, which in this embodiment comprises a spring 11 and a pin 12, the pin 12 being movable along the length of the handle 10. The portion of the base 20 facing the pin 12 is provided with a protrusion 20, the pin 12 being able to be transferred from one side of the protrusion 90 to the other when the handle 10 is rotated relative to the base 20.
The first ring gear 30 is fixed in the chamber 21 of the base 20 and is therefore able to rotate with the base 20 and transmit torque. The end face of the first ring gear 30 is provided with a meshing zone with a ring of teeth arranged for the transmission of force with the teeth of the second ring gear 40. The teeth of the first ring gear 30 have a certain width, and the extending direction of the teeth and the cross section of the first ring gear 30 form a certain included angle, and a plurality of teeth form an arrangement of conical surfaces. That is, the end surface of the first ring gear 30 on which the teeth are provided is not a flat surface but a tapered surface having a constant taper, and the teeth are provided on the tapered surface. The plurality of teeth of the second ring gear 40 have an arrangement corresponding thereto so as to achieve sufficient contact.
The specific structure of the first ring gear 30 will be described by taking the teeth 31 as an example. The tooth 31 includes a first wedge surface 311, a first side surface 312, and a top surface. The first wedge surface 311 is angled relative to a plane passing through the gear ring axis so that a force applied to the second gear ring 40 will have a component in the axial direction to drive the second gear ring 40 to move in the axial direction. The first side 312 is substantially parallel to the axis of the ring gear, so that its force on the second ring gear 40 is tangential to the ring gear circumference, driving the second ring gear 40 in rotation.
The second gear ring 40 is arranged coaxially with the first gear ring 30, the end face of the second gear ring 40 is provided with a meshing area, the meshing area comprises a plurality of teeth, the teeth comprise a second wedge surface and a second side surface, and the teeth of the second gear ring 40 can enter and exit from gaps between the teeth of the first gear ring 30 when the second gear ring 40 and the first gear ring 30 move relatively in the axial direction.
The interaction between the two toothed rings is illustrated by way of example with the teeth 31 and the teeth 41. When the second gear ring 40 and the first gear ring 30 have a relative rotation tendency, if the first wedge surface 311 of the first gear ring 30 interacts with the second wedge surface 411 of the second gear ring 40, an axial interaction force is generated between the two, so that the second gear ring 40 is caused to move axially relative to the first gear ring 30; if the first side 322 of the teeth 32 of the first ring gear 30 interacts with the second side 412 of the second ring gear 40, the first ring gear 30 drives the second ring gear 40 in rotation.
The output member 50 is connected with the second ring gear 40 in a torque-transmitting manner, the second ring gear 40 and the output member 50 are fixedly connected in the embodiment, and the second ring gear 40 and the output member 50 can move relatively in the axial direction in some alternative embodiments. The output member 50 includes a torque-transmitting interface, i.e., a structure capable of limiting rotation of the workpiece, and in this embodiment, the interface is a socket head structure, but in other alternative embodiments, the interface may also be a hexagon head or a square head structure.
In this embodiment, the elastic member 60 is a compression spring, the elastic member 60 acts on the second ring gear 40 to make it abut against the first ring gear 30 when not being subjected to an external axial force, and the second ring gear 40 moves in the axial direction against the pressure of the elastic member 60 when being subjected to the axial force. In some alternative embodiments, the first ring gear 30 may be arranged to be axially displaceable while being in torque-transmitting connection with the base 20, while the second ring gear 40 is arranged to be non-displaceable in axial direction, in which case the elastic member 60 may be arranged to act on the first ring gear 30 to bring the first ring gear 30 into abutment with the second ring gear 40.
Referring to fig. 5 and 6, fig. 5 is a schematic structural diagram of a torque tool according to another embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 6 is a schematic structural diagram of a torque tool according to another embodiment of the present invention. In fig. 5, the two ends of the handle are both provided with structures such as a base and a gear ring, and the two ends of the handle can be used for applying torque. In fig. 6, the torque interface of the output member of the torque tool is square, and can be connected with a tool such as a socket head socket or a hexagon socket head socket.
The above description is only for the specific embodiments of the present invention, but the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto, and any person skilled in the art can easily think of various equivalent modifications or replacements within the technical scope of the present invention, and these modifications or replacements should be covered within the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the protection scope of the present invention shall be subject to the protection scope of the claims.
